We visited Osteria Senza Fretta for the first time last night, and what a wonderful experience it was.
The restaurant truly lives up to its name. For the first time in ages, my wife and I didn't feel rushed while dining. The service was impeccable and flawless from start to finish, with excellent attention to detail in every dish that was served.
It felt almost dreamlike, enjoying beautifully prepared fresh food while listening to the gentle sound of the fountain and classical music in the background. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and elegant.
What impressed us even more was seeing the head chef personally come out to serve some of the dishes. Such humility is rare to find. The lady head chef has created some truly outstanding dishes, full of creativity and flavour.
Our waiter was excellent as well, providing attentive service throughout the evening. His knowledge of the English language was greatly appreciated and made the experience even more enjoyable.
We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Osteria Senza Fretta to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Osteria Senza Fretta is one of those places where you immediately feel at home as soon as you walk in. We were guests for dinner. The location is elegant and understated. But what is most striking is the courtesy, the welcome, and the quality of the cuisine. Passion and professionalism shine through in the management and customer service. All this, with excellent value for money. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes, overly elaborate packaging detracts from the contents. This is what happens, in my opinion, with this Osteria. The names of the dishes reveal the chef's motivation, but ultimately, behind all the words lies "veal with tuna sauce," sliced as thinly as a deli. The basic ingredients were most likely good, so was the result, but it seems the establishment focuses primarily on appearances. The service? There, too, something other than impartiality and honesty prevails in serving guests. After taking a seat in the internal courtyard, we waited for the menu to arrive, which, along with bread and breadsticks, was being presented to the tables occupied after ours. Eventually, we were served, too, but, dear maître d', if you haven't been taught that first impressions count, and from a customer's perspective, seeing others who arrived later walk past you is a nuisance, try to assimilate that. The food is good.

Once again I visited beautiful Cuneo, staying at Osteria Senza Fretta, and once again I had a wonderful time, both in one of the beautiful and comfortable rooms (I think I've tried them all by now...) and having lunch or dinner at their restaurant, where Daniela, with her skill, creates creative dishes always in tune with the season, as well as those, always present, that give a nod to tradition, like my beloved "Plin" with roast gravy or, more simply, with butter and sage, or "Mirella's tagliatelle" topped with a fabulous ragù, just like the one Mirella, Marco's mother, used to make. And how could I not mention and enjoy the vast selection of top-quality wines, lovingly selected by Marco, a refined sommelier? In short, how could I not recommend a holiday in Cuneo, just a stone's throw from the beautiful valleys and the stunning Langhe, naturally staying, having lunch, or dinner at Osteria Senza Fretta?

On a day trip, we had lunch at this lovely restaurant located in the historic, central area of Cuneo. Both the staff and the food were excellent. The restaurant is very well-kept and clean. The waiters are all very friendly and make you feel at ease. They have a very intimate and charming internal courtyard. We'll be back.

We dined at this osteria on Saturday, May 16th. We didn't follow directions, but rather looked at the menus displayed outside by several establishments as we wandered the streets of the historic center. I was drawn to the extensive list of ingredients and beverages available, many of which are locally sourced, alongside the menu items. I took their business card, which was available on the noticeboard. Later, the selection of ingredients and menu items convinced us that this was the right place for us. Don't be fooled by the name Senza Fretta: warmly welcomed by the young and dynamic staff, we enjoyed a delicious and healthy dinner. The service was attentive and quick (a sign of efficient organization), correct but not overly formal: while always being correct, they were open to friendly conversation. The dishes aren't typical Piedmontese dishes, but they reveal careful personal selection and fine-tuning of the recipes. The dishes are presented gracefully and attractively, but without being ostentatious. I personally chose the pumpkin, quinoa, spinach, and toasted pumpkin seed soup. Although unusual, I found it perfect and balanced in content and flavors. Their veggie burger, also based on an original recipe, exceeded my expectations and was well-paired with a varied, equally thoughtful side dish. Gabri asked for two cheeses, and they were quickly and clearly explained which ones could be adapted to her tastes and paired with honey or Ramassin jam. In short, it's a true Piedmontese experience, but a different one. As for the wine list, I think the selection is quality; I tried the Nebbiolo rosé out of curiosity (which may seem like blasphemy, but it convinced me). In short: a place I'd love to return to and try the other dishes.
