09/10/2025: We spent one night in this beautiful place, surrounded by vineyards and lush nature. The room was super comfortable, the food delicious, everything made with love and kindness. The owners felt like we'd known them forever; exquisite, to say the least. Thank you, "C'era una volta" (Once Upon a Time) for making us feel at home. See you soon!!!

11/10/2025: One of the best dinners in recent memory, in terms of value, location, and service. We came tonight to celebrate our anniversary and were greeted with delicious bread and warm focaccia with butter, a very reasonable tasting menu (38 euros for two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert!), and friendly, welcoming staff. We're so happy we discovered this gem ❤️

02/10/2025: This astonishing hotel originated from a 13th-century manor house. Most of the structure was destroyed, leaving only the original defensive tower. It has an amazing sunrise view in autumn and is surrounded by plenty of wineries. It's a great fit for travelers who rent a car.

08/10/2025: Overall, the dinner was good, the service was courteous, and the atmosphere was nice, although there was a bit of a smell coming from the kitchen.

06/10/2025: In Turin, honestly, I would have expected much more. A restaurant that claims to be fine dining should offer carefully prepared dishes and recognizable flavors, but unfortunately, the experience here was quite different. Overall, the dishes are bland, even in taste: lacking in energy, character, and a general feeling of "dated" but executed without passion. The mushroom tart, for example, could have been a pleasant autumn dish, but it's reduced to a bland preparation with a simple dash of mushroom flavor that doesn't live up to the promise of its name. The ravioli del plin, then, are completely off the mark: large, thick, with a flavorless, indistinct filling. Nothing in common with Piedmontese tradition, neither in form nor in taste. Even more disappointing is the wine list—or rather, the difficulty in navigating a selection that, while extensive, doesn't seem carefully crafted. In Turin, where excellent winemaking is a household name, one expects much greater attention and expertise in the selection. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was courteous but distant, the ambience lacking any particular distinction, and above all, the cuisine left no desire to return. A shame, it completely lacks substance. This restaurant needs to thoroughly rethink its approach if it truly wants to stand out in a city like Turin, where competition is high and the average level is decidedly superior.

15/09/2025: Elegant venue with a hint of rusticity. Impeccable service and superb food...I'd go back in a heartbeat. The rooms were also very beautiful and the breakfast was superb!!! I celebrated my birthday wonderfully.

12/10/2025: This is my first time at this restaurant, and I immediately noticed something you don't see in other restaurants: the open kitchen. It's a wonderful sight: the chefs, cooks, and waiters intertwined like a perfect machine, never taking up anyone's space. Then there's the kindness and professionalism of the waiters, especially Lorenza, who served us splendidly with her sweetness. Having said that, I can only speak about the service and the lunch...not much to say, everything was very good. I'll definitely be back.

14/10/2025: Service good, food great but a bit cramped.

12/10/2025: A unique experience! 5 adults plus a child, we ate from appetizers to dessert with two bottles of fine red wine! We recommend the cheese course, the stuffed onion, the rabbit, the plin pasta in roast sauce, cheek (if available), and the duck leg! Gentlemen, it's a 5/5, you can't go wrong. The owner and the table service were friendly and approachable! Loving people. A quiet place (reservations required) to which we wish the best.

31/08/2025: A little gem nestled in the Alps overlooking a lovely lake. The chalet is family-run, and you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Romina and Monica work tirelessly to ensure their guests are always happy. I've never seen so much attention and affection. Our room was small but had a truly beautiful terrace. There's no air conditioning, but despite the early August heat, it was incredibly cool. There are no mosquitoes, so sleeping with the balcony open and the curtains closed was enough. The cool breeze does the rest. The small lake is lovely, and the walk is truly pleasant. We decided to have dinner at the hotel, and we were right. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked by Monica! Romina is truly a force of nature, exuding joy and enthusiasm. Breakfast was also excellent, with several of Monica's homemade cakes and biscuits. We stayed here for two nights, albeit separately. It was the first stop on our trip to Great Britain and the last. We had a wonderful time and would be delighted to return again. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: We're delighted to return to the Chalet. The staff is exceptional, like being part of the family. Everything is perfect: the rooms are welcoming and spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and caters to any dietary needs, and the surrounding area is fabulous! We'll be back as soon as we can. 27/09/2025: This restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed traditional dishes like agnolotti and bollito misto, accompanied by select Piedmontese wines. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is ideal for a quiet dinner with friends or family. The wooden details and decorations make the atmosphere warm and familiar.

26/09/2025: A beautiful venue, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail... a top location, next to the Gran Madre. Delicious food and attention to detail. 12/10/2025: Very nice place with outdoor parking. It has a huge outdoor park and two indoor dining rooms, plus some outdoor seating for dining in the right seasons. The service was quick, and the food was good. We'll definitely be back, perhaps trying other specialties.

02/08/2025: The food tasted okay, but the tagliata di manzo had tough tendons in places. The portions were too small for me, despite my slim build. The price is reasonable, though a bit expensive for the region. The service was friendly and attentive, and the view was beautiful. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide, which explains the esteem in which it serves its guests. Overall, a good experience, but one I wouldn't necessarily repeat.
