25/06/2026: Not a recommended experience. I leave the place and I'm still hungry despite the high bill. I'm ashamed for them. For three of us it cost more than €80 and it smells like fried food. It's shameful.

22/06/2026: Nothing to say about the food, because the quality isn't bad, but as for the service, it was truly awful. I ordered two pizzas with my girlfriend, a Coke, and a beer... The Coke arrived, but not my beer. The pizzas weren't marked, even though that "nice" waiter spent 10 minutes writing something, snatching the menu from my girlfriend, without asking us anything, without saying hello, and being incredibly rude. After an hour, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. I thank the dining room management who tried to fix the situation, but I saw people arriving after us and leaving early. They won't see me again, and especially not even a discount as a form of compensation. That said, I don't recommend it based on my experience.

08/08/2026: ⭐ 1/5 — Overrated and Very Disappointing Experience Last night, my wife, our three children, and I had dinner at Ristorante Bilacus in Bellagio. We had made a reservation in advance and were genuinely excited to dine here, especially given the restaurant’s reputation and beautiful location. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, we found the staff to be unfriendly, inattentive, and lacking the professionalism and knowledge we expected from a restaurant with this reputation. We ordered several dishes based specifically on recommendations from our waiter and other staff members, expecting something special. I even ordered the meat dish that was presented to me as one of their best and most notable selections. Unfortunately, neither that dish nor the overall meal lived up to the expectations that had been created. The menu also felt quite limited, and overall we found the food to be nothing particularly special or memorable. The location and setting are certainly attractive, and the ambiance itself is nice. However, a beautiful setting alone does not create a great dining experience. The restaurant lacked the warm, welcoming, positive energy and hospitality that we have experienced at many other restaurants throughout Italy. When you combine the disappointing food, limited menu, inattentive service, and unfriendly attitude of the staff, the restaurant simply felt very overrated to us. Unfortunately, despite the nice Bellagio location, we left disappointed and would not recommend Ristorante Bilacus based on our family’s experience. I kept it firm but factual and based on your personal experience, which generally makes a negative review more credible and effective.

09/05/2026: The restaurant is desolately and deservedly empty. Mondeghili that weren't Mondeghili, let them learn the recipe! A meager wine list, the first wine: "Sorry, it's sold out." I choose another wine: "Sorry, it's sold out too." Non-existent music. The singer is in the corner chatting with the waitress, and at 10:30, when we ask if there will be music, the answer is: "Oh yes, it's starting now." Too bad dinner was already over and we're leaving. Food quality: the same rating as the number of customers = zero. A ruined Saturday night. Never again

05/08/2025: It remains one of the best views in Bergamo, but since the California Bakery chain took over, the food has unfortunately been practically frozen, the service slow and indifferent, and it's also expensive. It's fine for a coffee.

15/07/2025: A bar that, given its location and ambiance, has potential for 100, but hasn't been exploited to the fullest. Mediocre service, with few smiles from the staff, as if the customers were bothering you. Planters with dead plants and vases full of cigarette butts. Clean bathroom, but the paper dispenser is broken and messy. Prices aren't exactly cheap, even for just an aperitif, and the selection isn't great. Bottom line: a place with a magnificent view, but one that, compared to the wide selection available in the upper town, doesn't really stand out!

17/02/2026: Incredible spot. Don’t even go anywhere else just run here. You can make a reservation via WhatsApp. Amazing service and everyone is super happy you’re there. Incredible wine list.

05/01/2026: We dined with high expectations, which were unfortunately disappointed. The only positive note is the location, which is very beautiful. The waiters are too fast and pushy; they seem to want to clear the table as quickly as possible. Some of the dishes are good, but it's unacceptable to pay €30 for fillet steak bites dipped in a pink sauce with "San Carlo" chips on top. We reported this to them, but were told there wasn't time to make the potato chips as per the menu. We refused to order anything else and left after paying €123 for two (without a cent of discount or anything else). Obviously, we won't be returning.

08/03/2026: Quality food, we had the beef fillet which was really good. We also paid very little.

02/03/2026: We were regulars, but we'll never return! The service was already terrible in the past: they don't serve you at your table and often forget to make your coffee if you don't ask. Today we bought coffees and, unaware of the ban, ate our own snacks. We immediately apologized to the first waiter, who understood and left. Immediately afterward, the cashier and an elderly, white-haired waitress attacked us. With icy faces and ignoring our apologies, they rudely kicked us out while other employees laughed at us. An unjustifiable and cruel humiliation for an honest mistake. Being Chinese, we strongly suspect racial discrimination. Terrible and rude, avoid them!

15/07/2026: A bar-restaurant near Linate where we stopped for a quick lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered generous salads. Prices were average. Plenty of parking nearby. They also have a pizza section.

16/05/2026: I'm giving one star because I can't give 0. Rude bar owner. I only went into this bar because I was in line for a concert but had to use the bathroom. Obviously, I consumed a coffee before going, and the owner came out with something like this: "But you can't go until 2:30/3 because the bathroom is currently open to those who consume food." Point 1. I consumed a cup anyway. Point 2. Does it bother you that I'm clearly not spending 20 euros on you, but only 1.50? Things I didn't tell him, but I thought, especially because he was also rude to my girlfriend, who also wanted to consume a hot chocolate. He also turned around and said she had been rude by demanding that he use the bathroom, when in fact she had been kind and courteous from the start, even with the bartender. To top it off, he started by saying, "I'm the owner, I choose who goes to the bathroom." It should be noted that when she went, there were about four people sitting at the table, and all the while she was waiting for the hot chocolate to be made because they couldn't make it for her right away because the bartender was finishing another errand, but that's understandable; she could have just gone in that time and then gotten the hot chocolate on the way out. That said, I don't recommend it due to the owner's rudeness. There are much better bars four minutes away.

27/06/2026: Food poisoning caused by poorly stored tuna. Two years ago, for my mother's birthday, I had lunch at this restaurant. I should point out that it wasn't my first time there. Besides the extremely rude nature of the owner, I'd like to point out the tuna pasta I ate. After eating it, about 30 minutes later, I began experiencing tachycardia, dizziness, and redness all over my body. After a test, I was diagnosed with "scombroid," a form of food poisoning I wasn't aware of, caused by poorly stored tuna. Thank you for the unique experience, but I would have preferred to avoid it...

16/05/2026: The owner here was exceptional. Myself and my family with 2 young kids traveled her from Colorado in the US, and loved this mountain town. We went for dinner at Mas and the owner did his very best to understand us and make us feel welcome treating our kids so kindly. The food was great and we ended the night with some espresso. Will be back here again and recommend to all for a great meal outside the normal pizza and pasta. Get the squid!

06/05/2026: the staff is very rude, we were told after we already ate that we connor split the bill, afterwards i was told to shut up! then suddenly it was possible to split the bill. all in all - the food was tolerable BUT the service is inacceptable and i will definitely NEVER retour again!!!🤬

06/05/2026: Initially a good place and nice atmosphere, then after the food order went down, I ordered a pizza with sausages on top, in my opinion frozen pizza and 4/5 sausages on top, (there was also pizza with pineapple on the menu...) the prices do not reflect reality at all, a classic tourist trap

17/10/2025: Very average. Empty place with too loud jazz music. Lots of plastic. It wants to give the impression of an upscale restaurant, but it's only average. Good pasta. Secondi not well prepared. Dried fish and tagliata are better in any trattoria. Zucchini burnt on the plate. Service nice, but sometimes disappeared for half an hour. Room for improvement.
