Cordial staff (who I later learned was the owner) seated me even though it was close to lunch ending time, and I had the amazing 'little fishes from the lake' lunch dish. I devoured it, even though I rarely each whole anchovies. The espresso hit the spot, as I had done the Castle Vezio hike that morning and needed the boost and good food. Recommended by our wonderful hotel, the Nilus Restaurant, Varenna, right on the water of Lake Como, is definitely a place to return to. Enjoy!

We loved the food - pasta was super! The staff are very nice and great customer service. Views of the lake included! Definitely must try.

18/10/2023: Molto buone le piadine(logicamente come negli altri posti)essendo lo stesso medesimo prodotto. Le ragazze che ci lavorano un po meno. Poco chiare e non ti informano delle promozioni in corso. Lasciano tutto al caso
16/10/2023: Non rispetta propriamente lo standard delle altre La Piadineria, tra le varie sedi in cui sono stato questa è la peggiore. Non usano i box di cartoni per asporto o consegna, quindi diventano subito fredde, se integrale poi ingozza subito appena perde calore. Ho trovato una persona sola a lavorare in tutto il locale all’ora di cena durante la settimana, mi fa pensare non sia molto frequentato.
