Service was attentive without being intrusive, making us feel welcomed and relaxed. If you're in Varenna, this is a must-visit spot for a memorable meal with an amazing view.

06/12/2025: The food itself was pretty good, except for the fact that it was too salty. But the lady at the counter refused my request, saying we couldn't pay for the dishes we ordered. She charged us by splitting the total between three of us, even though two others had more dishes and also had wine. If we were a group of 10, I'd understand the inconvenience, but it was completely rude, and I don't think I'd go back. Pasta, coffee, and water for 35 euros. There are much better places to eat for that price.

03/12/2025: A historic Milanese restaurant, where you step back in time to the 80s and 90s. Meat is king, and the quality is top-notch. Finally, a restaurant where you can eat slowly, with old-fashioned and courteous service and high-quality wines, from excellent Piedmontese to great Tuscan wines. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: A small restaurant in the heart of Lenno, with good Italian cuisine at high prices. Although the food was good, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the price/performance ratio. No pasta dish was under €20, a beer was €8 (only "special"). A small appetizer, bread was not fresh. A cover was €4 per person. The kitchen door was constantly open, which was a distraction on a quiet evening. Overall, a lot of money was wasted for a rather disappointing evening (although the food was tasty).

04/06/2025: Esto fue tan bueno que comimos aquí dos noches seguidas. Tienen algunas opciones diferentes de otros restaurantes cercanos, incluidas ensaladas. Entre los tres teníamos la Nizzarda, que es una versión más simple de una Nicoise - genial y ligera, la Lasaña - una pasta delgada y ligera, ensalada Caprese que era perfecto para el gluten - miembro libre de nuestra familia, la pasta boloñesa. 02/06/2025: Abbiamo fatto un' esperienza gastronomia meravigliosa, ambiente ben curato. In cucina, si nota la cura in ogni dettaglio, della chef Cristina. Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene.

19/09/2025: The food was MEH.. I ordered fish spaghetti and I was surprised it was only spaghetti with fish smell 😂 no real fish! Also the waiters are SUUUUUUPER RUDE SUPER SUPER RUDE more than waiters in France. It was the views for me honestly. Forgot to mention I had to order a pizza from another place coz I wasn’t full at all.

23/09/2025: Very beautiful lakeside location, very attentive service from the waiter. The food was good. However, we didn't realize until we got the bill that we had been overcharged until home. Three glasses of wine instead of two. The prices were incomprehensible. Two glasses at €10.00 each, but we ordered white wine for €4 each. The third glass of wine that wasn't received was charged €7.00. So, €27.00 for two glasses of white wine! The restaurant opens at 6 p.m., and we were the second guests there. We were informed that the kitchen for hot meals doesn't open until 7 p.m. We explained that we would still wait and ordered drinks and coffee. Unexpectedly, the waiter brought us a kind of Margherita bread with nine small slices, which also tasted good. We wondered if this was a courtesy of the house, given the long wait until 7 p.m. It wasn't, and they charged €8, which is fine, but it wasn't our order. So we overpaid €27! We added a 15% tip at the end, which was a bit too much in the end. Check the bill before leaving the restaurant! We were a bit dazzled by the waiter's charm; he might have been a bit calculating. The opening hours on Google are incorrect! Only Facebook lists the correct times. There's a lunch break, and hot meals aren't served until 7 p.m., even though the restaurant is open from 6 p.m., which is confusing for guests who aren't familiar with the place.

29/07/2025: For spaghetti with seafood, a glass of Chianti, a bottle of water, and three covers, I paid €43! Need I say more? Yes, I must add that I paid three covers because the two entrecotes we ordered were cold and arrived sliced! But I ate bread and butter. A great evening. Beautiful location, friendly service, but for me, the food wasn't, and I don't make that a question of price.

05/06/2025: Eravamo in gruppo, una trentina, di cui metà bambini, ma ciononostante il servizio è stato abbastanza buono. Menù monumentale, un intero volume, con pagine e pagine di proposte, il che mi fa sempre sorgere qualche dubbio. La pizza non era un gran che, bruciacchiata, pomodoro acquoso, ustionante, però disponibile in un'infinità di scelte. Buona la birra.

04/05/2025: Egal, was wir bestellt haben, es war alles super frisch und unglaublich lecker. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Schönes Ambiente. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren drei Abenden hintereinander dort und mussten dann leider nach Hause.
