05/12/2025: I tried calling at 9 PM and was told curtly that they were already closed, but they close at 10 PM or later. The attitude on the phone was extremely rude: if this is how they treat customers remotely, I can't imagine what in-person service would be like. A terrible experience from the very first contact.

27/10/2025: We stopped for lunch. The place with a lovely view of the lake is beautiful. We ordered an appetizer, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses (so-so) and two first courses, which were excellent and plentiful.

05/11/2025: Located on Via Pirelli, this family-run restaurant offers delicious, hearty pasta dishes. The selection is vast and the prices are truly excellent. Recommended

09/10/2025: We stopped for a soda with our baby to feed her, and since we didn't want to eat the menu at 12 noon, they served us very rudely and even told us we had to get up in 10 minutes even though we were with a baby because we didn't want to eat there. In retaliation, they charged us 2 euros extra for taking a table and having two sodas. A disgrace, especially considering the way we were treated when we were with a baby.

The food was excellent and entirely homemade – you could clearly taste the difference. We were served small dishes both before and after our meal, which were included in the price. 07/11/2025: We stopped by Nilu’s Bar in Verena on a rainy afternoon when most of our planned restaurants were either closed or fully booked — and it turned out to be a great choice! To start, we ordered drinks — I had a tropical fruit punch and my husband had martini. Both were excellent. For lunch, we tried the bruschetta with mozzarella and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. For dessert, we went for a Nutella dark chocolate crepe, and honestly, it was the star of the meal — absolutely delightful! The restaurant setup was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a lovely experience despite the rainy weather. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

29/10/2025: Great location. Tried it for an afternoon snack, with the sweet crepes. Plenty of choice, and the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented. Looking at the menu, it's worth noting that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and bars nearby. I think it's a good place to have an aperitivo.

06/12/2025: The food itself was pretty good, except for the fact that it was too salty. But the lady at the counter refused my request, saying we couldn't pay for the dishes we ordered. She charged us by splitting the total between three of us, even though two others had more dishes and also had wine. If we were a group of 10, I'd understand the inconvenience, but it was completely rude, and I don't think I'd go back. Pasta, coffee, and water for 35 euros. There are much better places to eat for that price.

03/12/2025: A historic Milanese restaurant, where you step back in time to the 80s and 90s. Meat is king, and the quality is top-notch. Finally, a restaurant where you can eat slowly, with old-fashioned and courteous service and high-quality wines, from excellent Piedmontese to great Tuscan wines. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: This is my third time here for work. The restaurant is decent, the service is quick, and the prices are slightly above average. But the quality is good, so it's worth spending a few extra euros.

23/09/2025: Very beautiful lakeside location, very attentive service from the waiter. The food was good. However, we didn't realize until we got the bill that we had been overcharged until home. Three glasses of wine instead of two. The prices were incomprehensible. Two glasses at €10.00 each, but we ordered white wine for €4 each. The third glass of wine that wasn't received was charged €7.00. So, €27.00 for two glasses of white wine! The restaurant opens at 6 p.m., and we were the second guests there. We were informed that the kitchen for hot meals doesn't open until 7 p.m. We explained that we would still wait and ordered drinks and coffee. Unexpectedly, the waiter brought us a kind of Margherita bread with nine small slices, which also tasted good. We wondered if this was a courtesy of the house, given the long wait until 7 p.m. It wasn't, and they charged €8, which is fine, but it wasn't our order. So we overpaid €27! We added a 15% tip at the end, which was a bit too much in the end. Check the bill before leaving the restaurant! We were a bit dazzled by the waiter's charm; he might have been a bit calculating. The opening hours on Google are incorrect! Only Facebook lists the correct times. There's a lunch break, and hot meals aren't served until 7 p.m., even though the restaurant is open from 6 p.m., which is confusing for guests who aren't familiar with the place.
