27/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance during a trip to Monte Isola on a cold and windy day, but the splendid location and excellent food were the turning point. Enchanting views of the lake and excellent food...from appetizers to dessert. Truly unique and original lakeside specialties. Excellent service, with detailed descriptions of the dishes chosen. Excellent value. Lake Iseo was a very welcome discovery.

02/05/2026: Great place, we stopped for an aperitivo and were more than satisfied. The best spritz I've ever had in Bergamo or anywhere else. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Recommended.

10/05/2026: I booked a table through TheFork on Thursday for Sunday, May 10th (Mother's Day), and received confirmation. Unfortunately, on Saturday evening, after 11:00 PM, the reservation was cancelled at the last minute, causing serious difficulties. Since it was a very popular day, I had to contact other restaurants at the last minute to find room for six people, without success. I find this behavior unfair and unprofessional towards customers. It's unclear to me whether the restaurant was actually closed (as they justify)—since until the day before, and still now, it was listed as open for Sunday lunch—or whether the cancellation was due to the fact that the reservation included a discount through TheFork. In any case, handling a cancellation with such short notice is unacceptable.

08/05/2026: Everything was perfect ! Simple meal but very tasty, homemade cooking. Nice people. Perfect spot to wait for a train. We were happy we found this place !

29/05/2026: My review will be different from the others, but I wanted to write one. Unfortunately, I didn't stay at this property because I was forced to cancel my reservation two days before my vacation. I booked through Booking.com, and just two days before my arrival, the reservation stipulated full payment for the stay in the event of cancellation. I contacted the property by phone, and they very kindly canceled the reservation with a 100% refund—and, I repeat, two days before my arrival. I'm deeply sorry I couldn't stay here; from my experience, I can see the kindness and professionalism of the people who run this beautiful agriturismo. I hope to be their guest soon.

24/05/2026: Positive experience. The photos are from this morning with the fireplace still lit (beautiful). I'd start from the beginning, though. We arrived yesterday afternoon after visiting the Certosa di Pavia (about an hour away on the main road). Is it worth it? I'd say yes. At reception, a lady greeted us and calmly explained the agriturismo to us and told us to wander around wherever we wanted to explore. I'd say it was a good suggestion. The pool (unfortunately, we forgot our swimsuits) is very nice, and some people even took a dip yesterday. There's a lovely park, and we saw where they keep the animals (geese and pigs). Overall, a lovely, relaxing experience despite the heat. Luckily, there were some benches (perhaps in need of some updating), but they did their job in the shade of the trees. The room was clean and tidy and was on two floors: the ground floor had a small living room and TV, with an adjoining bathroom with shower, a staircase, and an upper floor with an open-plan bathroom and bedroom. We dined there that evening. I believe it was a tasting menu. I'd say the quality of the food is beyond discussion; among the various tastings, the coppa was exceptional, and the first course with mushrooms was excellent. Unfortunately, I can't drink wine, but I could see the guests happily (lucky them) sipping and enjoying it. This morning, we had breakfast with a cappuccino (really good), but especially with the jams/compostellas (you can see the selection in one of the photos posted), which were described to us by a waiter and are all their own. I tried their cherry jam and blackberry compote on warm bread...to say they were both excellent is an understatement. The only downside I could find (though I still have to look for a needle in a haystack) was the parking. Here, too, like the parking lot near the Certosa di Pavia, gravel instead of asphalt. I don't know the results if it rains, but maybe I'm wrong. There are clearly visible signs where the management declines all responsibility for damage/theft to cars in their parking lots. In a context where we are surrounded by drones and cameras, perhaps 4 cameras, one per parking lot to monitor customers' cars, wouldn't be a bad investment (a small and impartial suggestion, debatable or not). Overall, a positive experience. Recommended.

15/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance for a dinner for two: the place was a bit dated, the food was average (the culatello and marubini were good, the saffron risotto was passable), and the service, unfortunately, was completely inadequate. Left to our own devices after the main course, we waited a long time for someone to offer us dessert. Unfortunately, the maître d', half-hidden around the corner, was busy on his phone, despite there being only four customers in the room. We left our spot and paid the bill (average-high, considering what we'd eaten). What a shame.

20/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant due to its proximity to the hotel. The decor is simple, a bit run-of-the-mill. For the appetizer, a "puff pastry" made of three layers of carasau bread, the kind you'd find at Lidl, filled with burrata and cherry tomatoes. The burrata was fresh and delicious. The dish was a simple one, costing €16. For the first course, paccheri (I don't remember the exact name) with cabbage and a mix of meats. The pasta was a bit too al dente, but the dish was tasty. Water, a glass of wine, and a coffee. Total €88 for two. The price/course ratio was quite exaggerated, I'd say. Would I go back? Definitely not.

18/05/2026: The owner was very rude and insulted me. The cutlets were raw. I paid anyway, but instead of apologizing, she didn't give me a receipt and attacked me because I didn't want the same cutlet again. A terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it. The waiters were very kind.

03/04/2026: The owner is always very kind, but €3.30 for a cappuccino and an empty croissant is a bit excessive for a café overlooking Via Roma on Cesano's main street. For a lower price, you can get breakfast on the Navigli canals, with a completely different view and atmosphere. This review is just to show that people are slowly making their breakfast at home. It's not the 30 or 40 cents, but the fact that it's really increased in just a few months.

02/04/2026: I've always enjoyed this place, but I've never encountered such arrogance from a gentleman, I think the owner. I went for breakfast this morning with a friend and two 4-year-old girls. The place was quiet, with no one nearby. The girls allowed themselves to joke around, laughing a little loudly while sitting on the chairs at the table next to ours. No one complained, especially since we had no one nearby... The owner came over and, in a rude tone and a loud voice, urged the girls to behave, rudely inviting them to sit at their table, saying they weren't at the playground and therefore had to behave at their table... The tone was really rude and out of place; he could have politely asked us mothers to let the girls sit with us... The quality was good, but otherwise, a zero rating! You've definitely lost customers!

09/06/2026: Great food. Pizzas and calzones are awesome. Personnel is very kind. Service just a little slow, but nothing too crazy. A great place to come and have pizza and a couple of beers with your friends.

01/06/2026: I ordered a set menu. Appetizer: octopus tail with tons of oil and poorly cooked. First course: rubbery paccheri with 2 shrimp (the intestines not cleaned), tiny pieces of asparagus on a bed of meaningless arugula. I sent the dish back. To top off this awful experience, I received a gross, salty, and burnt mixed fry with still uncleaned shrimp. I asked for a toothpick to clean the "black string" of the intestines, but I didn't have the courage to eat them and gave them to the dogs. At the cashier, I took the liberty of pointing out that I had sent the paccheri back, explaining why, and suggested telling the chef that it's best to clean the shrimp before cooking them, not serve them with their guts full of feces, because it's unhygienic and changes the taste... The response (from the waiter/owner, who shouted): "WE'VE ALWAYS DONE THIS! If you don't like it, DON'T COME AGAIN, you'll be doing us a favor!" What can I say? It'll be done, even if it was expected! I absolutely don't recommend it, especially because of the rudeness.

23/04/2026: I arrived in Milan and my first step was to get dinner. It was the closest restaurant to the hotel, so I ordered a meal, but I got food poisoning and have been feeling unwell for two days.

06/04/2026: Wow, we were really impressed with this small but cozy pizzeria. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent at very fair prices. We ate there twice with four people and tried everything from pasta and pizza to meat and salad. All the dishes were fantastic. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back on our next short trip to the area.

07/06/2026: The food isn't tasty. The bread isn't fresh. It seems like they don't know what bruschetta looks like. The service is disappointing: the waiters are tired and irritated. The pizza plate never arrived.

04/06/2026: The food was very good! We ordered one of the daily specials, the chicken breast with salad, and a shrimp crepe with asparagus. Everything was delicious. The view is also very pleasant, overlooking the lake.

05/04/2026: The noodle portions are small and relatively expensive. The restaurant automatically adds a 13% service charge which I did not like.

01/04/2026: Average restaurant. I had spaghetti and a mixed salad and wasn't even close to being full; the cheese came from a bag... mmm... but the price was above average. The wine portion was also very small. Not worth repeating. What a shame. I can make better food at home.
