05/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to admit that the food was a bit of a disappointment. The portions were very small for the price. The lasagna may have been tasty, but the burger and fries were just not so good. Overall, the interior was quite pleasant, but I probably wouldn't visit again.

03/03/2026: Overpriced, food not good, and unfriendly! Okay, I arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 PM. I was greeted politely—so far, so good—but then things went downhill. The lasagna was the quality of a cheap frozen lasagna from a discount supermarket, and on top of that, it was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I hadn't eaten anything all day, so I didn't say anything. When the waiter brought me the bill for the lasagna and an Aperol Spritz, I decided to write a review since these two items cost €32. Based on this experience, I can only advise against visiting! The cover charge only included cutlery! The usual small snacks to accompany the Aperol were also missing! I don't usually edit reviews, but when you come straight from work, just want to relax, and then get labeled as visibly drunk (see below) by the owner after writing a review, it speaks volumes about this establishment!

11/06/2025: Mejor tener reservas si quieres estar fuera. El guardia del museo nos dijo que no conseguiríamos una mesa. Me alegro de haber ido. Sentado dentro pero capaz de ver el Duomo. Excelente comida, buena camarera. Muchos turistas, pero no es sorprendente.

10/06/2025: Fuimos con mi familia (4 personas) a los 16. 00 (por lo que el lugar estaba medio vacío) y quería pedir 3 platos y 4 bebidas (3 de ellos cócteles). La respuesta del personal fue que deberíamos pedir al menos 4 para poder ser atendidos. Les dije que el lugar está vacío y las bebidas cuestan más que el plato extra que están pidiendo, pero dijeron simplemente que no, así que nos fuimos y fuimos a otro lugar. Esta es la estupidez de una política y una vergüenza de hospitalidad. . . . no vayas, no te merecen!

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

17/02/2026: Incredible spot. Don’t even go anywhere else just run here. You can make a reservation via WhatsApp. Amazing service and everyone is super happy you’re there. Incredible wine list.

05/01/2026: We dined with high expectations, which were unfortunately disappointed. The only positive note is the location, which is very beautiful. The waiters are too fast and pushy; they seem to want to clear the table as quickly as possible. Some of the dishes are good, but it's unacceptable to pay €30 for fillet steak bites dipped in a pink sauce with "San Carlo" chips on top. We reported this to them, but were told there wasn't time to make the potato chips as per the menu. We refused to order anything else and left after paying €123 for two (without a cent of discount or anything else). Obviously, we won't be returning.

21/02/2026: I am a customer who goes there very often and often orders from there, but the takeaway service is really terrible, every time they say half an hour and it can even take more than an hour and a half.

10/02/2026: Friendly staff and very good pizza! I don't understand the negative reviews some people have left. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

29/09/2025: Birthday party...poor service, we ordered ourselves, non-existent organization and price too high for what we were given. Terrible experience.

29/09/2025: I went to a birthday party last night, and despite the arrangements made with the owner, the service was truly terrible: a measly plate of squares... ini... ini... focaccia for so many people, and a watered-down cocktail. The price paid by the birthday boy didn't match expectations. I wouldn't recommend it for a birthday party. Ample parking... if you can find one... After a lot of driving around, I put the car in the parking lot.

20/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation and found two tables for us. The appetizers were ok, but not much accompanying food. The place was nice and had an intimate atmosphere, not bad.

20/12/2025: Very high price and I still haven't figured out how much... fish appetizer for 2 €93. It seems a bit exaggerated to me. Good but too much.

15/12/2025: Nothing to complain about the quality and the raw ingredients cooked and served, a typical family-run place run by a husband and wife. But he personally should take a course in good manners and etiquette, because you certainly don't treat customers badly, especially if there are eight of us with a €301 bill. If they ask for a bitter liqueur (which you have in the fridge), at the very least, you bring it and offer a round. Personally, I strongly advise against the place. He's too bipolar for me. If you're a regular, he'll kiss your ass, but if you're just passing by, he'll treat you with condescension. Terrible experience.

21/09/2025: We were guests at the hotel and were out cycling – the couple was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful! We offered a free aperitif in the restaurant and even a small breakfast. Great!!!

28/02/2026: The pizzas are thin and with a crispy crust, they are very topped and good, the service is fast and the staff very kind.

07/11/2025: We stopped by Nilu’s Bar in Verena on a rainy afternoon when most of our planned restaurants were either closed or fully booked — and it turned out to be a great choice! To start, we ordered drinks — I had a tropical fruit punch and my husband had martini. Both were excellent. For lunch, we tried the bruschetta with mozzarella and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. For dessert, we went for a Nutella dark chocolate crepe, and honestly, it was the star of the meal — absolutely delightful! The restaurant setup was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a lovely experience despite the rainy weather. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

29/10/2025: Great location. Tried it for an afternoon snack, with the sweet crepes. Plenty of choice, and the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented. Looking at the menu, it's worth noting that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and bars nearby. I think it's a good place to have an aperitivo.

12/10/2025: We stayed 1 night. The rooms were very dusty, and the bathroom was dated and dirty. It's a shame because it's in a great location. The staff was friendly. The breakfast wasn't the best. It needs renovations.

29/10/2025: Upon my arrival with my mobile device, I successfully utilized the translation feature on the Fold 7, which performed flawlessly. I proceeded to order a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. The waiter provided exceptional service, understanding my request and preparing a perfect coffee to begin the day. The beverage subsequently cooled due to my efforts to capture an optimal image for a review. I highly recommend this cafe for its reasonably priced beverages and sweet treats, which are ideal for a morning indulgence. Lastly the decor of the cafe was beauti, somewhere pleasant to start or end your day with the blue and white giving it a seaside theme and cleanliness stunning.

31/08/2025: This is a historic neighborhood pastry shop, but it's a shame... until recently, their croissants were excellent, but recently they've been tasteless, dry, and with very little choice. Service has never been their strong point, but at least they make up for it with their pastries. It always feels like you're doing them a favor by going there, despite the biblical wait times for a cappuccino...
