05/12/2024: Excellent value for money, friendly staff, non-formal environment. I recommend it

01/12/2024: We had lunch here on a Sunday in November. The place is very hidden, we found out about the place after many word of mouth. Nice atmosphere, the staff is very kind, for Sundays or indeed it is always better to book, when we went the place was full. We had an appetizer for three people, and it consists of five courses of scallops, mussels, octopus, peaches and something al Tomato. Then we had three first courses: penne with sea bass ragout, spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with seafood. To finish, two second courses, one seafood and one meat. The dishes are very generous as you can see from the photos I uploaded, in fact there was no more room for dessert.

08/12/2024: Excellent service and great courtesy in a warm and elegant environment. Not a good value for money (lots of standard rocket in the main courses) and excessive price of drinks (4 half-litre waters €10, a bitter €8 plus €12 for four place settings). Good but not worth the cost. (The restaurateur's response was understandable but, given the prices, I would have expected more).

05/12/2024: I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was so good, that I felt the need to rave about it. My boyfriend and I had dinner here, and it was just incredible. The front of house staff was so welcoming and kind, and helpful. The food was delicious. We've had similar dishes in other restaurants (in even more expensive and known than this one), but I wholeheartedly can say that this was better. We will definitely make it a recurring seafood dining spot for us. Cannot recommend it enough.

17/08/2024: I went for lunch for my uncle's 102nd birthday. We were treated very well, even if we had slightly special requests as we were with two elderly people, they were able to manage everything perfectly. Having the holiday home just a few minutes away, I've been coming there for years now, I don't think I'll ever have anything negative to comment on! Super generous portions and very fair prices.

01/11/2024: This tavern is located in a small village, it feels like going back in time, the young owner is a very kind and attentive person... a pleasant place with attention to every detail. Abundant dishes, quality products, parking in front of the restaurant, our 4-legged friends are welcome. I recommend this tavern, we had a great time.

05/12/2024: Organized dinner for us. colleague who says goodbye to us and is retiring, the food is excellent, from the outside you wouldn't know that the restaurant is a little hidden, the staff is very good

10/12/2024: A walk in the center with an enveloping Christmas atmosphere, lots of people enjoying Milan, my beautiful, chaotic and overwhelming city. And we decide for a traditional dinner, the Caruso Nuovo welcomes us inside the historic and powerful Grand Hotel de Milan. Very welcoming but intimate atmosphere at the same time. The trained and competent staff is suited to the type of venue that hosts demanding customers, many foreigners and several "VIPs" also present that evening who are probably staying in the hotel. Varied and unconventional menu, the chef is Neapolitan, excellent quality. Medium-high prices but they make sense in the context. Advise!

20/10/2024: Gave me the worst lasagna (mushy and horrible) and has the audacity to charge one 20 euros and says it’s how it’s made in Italy. I think it’s brings great sadness to pasta . Go here if u want a laugh 😆

19/10/2024: Top floor room, attic, quiet and with an excellent mattress for a perfect rest and plenty of space to store your luggage. Also noteworthy is the cleaning service, which is impeccable. The staff were very kind and helpful. We didn't get to try the restaurant, but we only had a few drinks, and both cocktails and wines are of excellent quality. The only problem to report was the water from the bidet which ran very little, but we mainly used the shower.

01/01/2025: We booked and collected a fish dinner for 31 December '24. The starters were also good but the first courses... the risotto was overcooked and flavorless and the second courses with poor if not ridiculous fried fish, made me change my mind about the new management. This is the third time we have taken away for New Year's Eve and therefore we have seen the differences in quality/quantity. Sin.

28/12/2024: What a disappointment not to find Gennaro and his pizzas anymore. The pizzas are no longer so good, the quality of the cooking has decreased.

08/12/2024: Una zuppa di cozze da fare invidia ai migliori ristoranti di mare, persico con ananas una vera chicca servizio attento cordiale e veloce. Bravi.

08/12/2024: For lunch with a lake view, a mussel soup that would be the envy of the best seaside restaurants, I suggest perch with excellent pineapple.
