05/12/2025: Inadequate… Four of us are having lunch on a Saturday. We make a reservation by phone, and we're asked to arrive by 1:30 PM. We arrive on time, but they ask us to wait to order. We wait for half an hour. We order three risottos with ossobuco. The risotto is good, but unfortunately, two of the three ossobuco were undercooked, in multiple parts. When paying—after mentioning this to the waitress, who apologizes and reports it to the kitchen—I report it to the manager. He tells me it's the texture of the meat, but I object that it's not the case. He gets offended, becomes rude, and arrogant. (Teasing: "Are you a chef?") Inadequate. Inadequate for the area, right in the center of Milan, and inadequate for the prices.

12/01/2026: The food is good, but they're terribly organized when it comes to welcoming customers. Even if you called and made a reservation, when you get there, you don't know who to talk to. Plus, several people who arrived after us walked right past us. They seated us half an hour after our reservation. The waiters were very kind but inexperienced. They brought me water, but I didn't have glasses. They served me seafood appetizers, but they didn't bring me bread... in short, everything was good, but very, very makeshift. What a shame...

14/01/2026: Brides beware! My dinner was held on 11/14/25. For an entire year I went back and forth with this restaurant about my wedding dinner. Table settings, menu choices, and where I wanted to be placed in the restaurant were completely detailed. Contracts were signed and NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS were made. However upon arrival my request to be seated downstairs with individual tables for my guests was not agreed upon despite being perfectly clear in all previous correspondence. The event planner Roberto repeatedly argued that what he gave me was “better” and he “wasn’t charging me for it.” I didn’t ask for what you gave me and therefore I didn’t get what I paid for. Their solution was an extra round of drinks and €200 off my over €3000 dinner. If this restaurant ever re-opens maybe consider another venue. Contracts and your desires (that are in writing) seem arbitrary to this establishment.

22/12/2025: Very nice place if you can find a table outside. I called three weeks in advance, but since there was a pre-wedding for that day, they put us inside anyway. The atmosphere isn't as magical because the interior is rather sterile and cold. The food was good, but I wasn't thrilled with the appetizer of lake fish prepared in various ways. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

31/01/2026: Very nice restaurant. In nice weather, you can eat outside, overlooking the lake. Informal atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food is very good. I go there often, and so do the people who have accompanied me. 👍

18/01/2026: A good restaurant in Bellano, everything is made to order, so expect a bit of a wait, but it's worth it.

10/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for the first time this evening. An experience to forget in every way: from appetizers to main courses to dessert. The menu doesn't reflect the dishes served, as some ingredients are missing. The desserts were terrible: they took a long time to arrive, and only then did we understand why: they were frozen. The chocolate cake, however, was served burnt. Also, pay attention to your receipt: we encountered several issues, with some dishes being priced higher than what was listed on the menu. We absolutely do not recommend it.

10/01/2026: We just had lunch at this wonderful restaurant and will definitely be back because the food was excellent, the staff was kind and helpful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and it was truly a wonderful experience overall!

13/01/2026: I had a truly wonderful time! As a vegan, I really appreciated the owners' helpfulness and hospitality. They offered me several vegan options, including seasonal ones, and anything but ordinary: not the "usual" pasta with tomato sauce or grilled vegetables. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but inside the restaurant is quite spacious, very welcoming, and authentic. The food was truly excellent! A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

23/12/2025: Family-run, it's a real pleasure to spend an evening at Le Arcate. Everything is in order, including the wine list. The owners' kindness is a plus.

29/12/2025: This seems like a family-run restaurant. The atmosphere and service felt very homemade, which we absolutely enjoyed. The staff are personable, friendly, and efficient. The food? Simply spectacular. We ordered from the à la carte menu, though the daily specials also looked amazing. Highly recommended!

24/12/2025: The quintessential classic Milanese restaurant. They (in my humble opinion) lost their way a little in the kitchen a couple of years back, but they are again producing considered, satisfying food respectful to tradition and with ample choices for vegetarian/pescatarian. The staff are kind, attentive and good humoured. We really felt looked after. Every time we are in Milan we return here. Grazie mille per ancora un'altra cena perfetta. Se non mangiassimo a Rigolo non sarebbe un viaggo giusto a Milano!

11/11/2025: We went for dinner on Sunday evening and had an excellent pizza! The place is small and has a small terrace that's only used in the summer. The pizza is very good and the value is excellent. However, they definitely need to fix the ventilation problem because you can't go out in jackets and sweaters that smell of fried food! The place is an Inter club, so when the team is playing... it's quite noisy.

09/12/2025: We wanted to have lunch here. It was 12:30-12:45, and the restaurant was empty, but the waiter or owner said they were fully booked and there were no seats, in a tone that said, "Go away!" It felt like you weren't welcome here, and only locals were welcome... After all, you can refuse with a smile. And everything was fine. Disappointed with Italian hospitality.

03/12/2025: The best fish dinner of my life!!! From appetizers to main courses, we had Patrizio (truly excellent) prepare practically everything, and it was an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

03/11/2025: I hope last night's paella was an isolated mistake. As soon as it arrived, I realized something was wrong. Burnt rice all around, overcooked grains like porridge, dry mussels, missing lupini beans, and a greasy base. I ask the waiter (I know he's not involved) why, and he says, "Before serving, the pan went in the oven." What? I'll order it for you, and you tell me to wait about 20 minutes, fine. It's ready, and you can put it in the oven, along with the shellfish! Why don't you bring it to me? Total disappointment even when I tell the lady at the counter, who takes off 7.50, but who cares!
