16/01/2026: Restaurant in the Isola area of ​​Milan, terrible value for money, inedible spaghetti with clams, soft and black mixed fried food, definitely fried with overused oil. Paella clearly reheated, and overheated; the rice was burnt. We had dinner with a group and everyone left really angry. We spent a lot and ate terribly. Never again.

11/01/2026: Epic fail. Eating bad pasta in an Italian restaurant in Italy feels either like a "sin" or in this case a very deliberate choice. And I think it was deliberate because we felt something off since the first moment: the place was almost empty, all tourists and us and we were with friends from abroad. This is what happened. As an Italian living abroad and coming back for Christmas, I had one simple wish: a good pasta. Nothing fancy, nothing experimental. Just pasta. The pasta was bland. In Italy? Come on. Everything else followed suit, just as some other reviews have already noted. We confirm. It’s like they make it on purpose. The fish arrived still partially frozen, other dishes lacked salt, and the sauces tasted spoiled. Every course felt off. We appreciated the warm bread and the bruschetta (nice touch), but it only highlighted the poor quality of the dishes. With a bill over €40 per person (wine excluded), we can’t just stay silent... And I still can’t understand how something so basic can turn out so insipid in Italy. From the first minute, we had the feeling that, because we ordered “only” three dishes — even though they were among the most expensive on the menu — it was assumed we wouldn’t spend much. From then on, the care seemed to defrost at the same speed as the fish. The pressure to upsell and the subtle reactions about the fish of the day (off-menu prices) gave us a warning vibe. So we limited our order to avoid surprises, being almost the only customers that night, caught in a push to sell — not a good feeling in a fish restaurant. After that, the courses were so incredibly off that we skipped coffee and dessert and just wanted to go home. Either the many positive reviews come from non-Italian diners who have never had proper pasta, or we were exceptionally unlucky, or the restaurant just didn’t fancy us. When every dish shows the same issues (poorly defrosted fish, no seasoning, and off flavors) it’s hard to call it bad luck though. One starts calling it a pattern or something else... The staff was polite, and I write this with a smile, not anger. But mistakes this consistent across all courses are impossible to ignore. We endured the half-hearted (and half-defrosted) appetizer, but the main courses left us at a loss for words. A deeply disappointing and, honestly, sa experience because we love these kind of restaurants, and since we are your neighbors (though you might have thought we were tourists) we thought we would go back. Considering the inexplicable 4.3 rating, we felt safe… until the first bite. Epic fail. And if it’s because we were not welcomed: well, at least now we know… message received.

23/12/2025: Very bad restaurant ! Run away. We took a fried steak for 25euros without any salad or fries, then fries were extra for 7euros. Sea food pasta were also without shrimps and enough sea food and it’s a expensive for the quality ! There is a near restaurant called THE KITCHEN which is not far from that one with excellent prices ! Very very very bad experience and the smell is so bad in the restaurant.

14/03/2026: I ate lunch with my family on a Saturday and it was an unforgettable experience: the atmosphere was familiar and relaxed, everything was meticulously prepared, and the flavors were unique. And then we ate divinely: Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, Colonnata lard served on black bread drizzled with honey. And then we had fabulous main courses: strips of fillet steak with artichokes, a three-week-aged Florentine steak for two, and a veal cutlet fried in clarified butter. All washed down with an excellent house Montepulciano. We paid around €50 each, a perfectly reasonable price for quality rarely found in Milan. Thank you, we'll be back!

01/03/2026: Mamma Farina is a sure thing: excellent service, attentive staff, and a welcoming yet modern atmosphere, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. The waiters are extremely kind, punctual, and even friendly: they look after you well without being intrusive and make you feel immediately at ease. There's nothing to complain about as to the food: everything is delicious and carefully prepared, and even a simple dish like a Caesar salad is truly memorable, because you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. The prices are fair for what you eat and the service you receive: absolutely recommended, I'll gladly return.

28/12/2025: I've been here many times, and I must say the quality and deliciousness of the food has been consistently good. Both the fish and meat dishes are excellent, and the desserts are equally delicious. When I'm in Salò, it's a must-see.

14/10/2025: I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads. The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus. I would love to come back!

04/03/2026: I'm sorry to share this review because the Tenuta Spa could get many more stars, but the spa room is too hot and the water is too cold. As soon as you enter from outside, the water seems lukewarm. After ten minutes in the room, the water becomes chilly and not relaxing. Three hours spent on the loungers.

24/02/2026: I stayed for one night only, and it was my first time there. I have to say the welcome was very warm, with great attention to detail. The room for two people was very cozy and also quite spacious. The spa is very well equipped — not a small spa, but one with several rooms, hot tubs, a steam room, a hammam, a tea corner, and the possibility to book body and facial treatments. I also had a one-hour massage, which was very relaxing. In the afternoon, I asked for a dish as a snack and they were happy to accommodate the changes I requested, even though it was something not on the menu. As for the restaurant, I was very pleased with the service. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented — everything was satisfying. The setting is very well designed; I especially noticed the wooden beams, which created a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. After my stay, I realized I had forgotten my swimsuit at the property. Following several phone calls, during which I was initially told that I hadn’t left anything behind, it was eventually confirmed that the swimsuit had indeed been found. I was then given the option to have it shipped to me through a payment link. They also offered the possibility to take a walk in the woods using a paper map. I personally found it a bit difficult to follow, as the path was completely covered with leaves, which made the trail harder to see and navigate. I visited in February, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the outdoor areas of the property.

22/02/2026: A very welcoming place, far from the chaos of Gallarate. It offers exquisitely prepared dishes, complemented by beautiful visuals. The ingredients are well-prepared and the staff is very helpful. I spent a wonderful evening with friends without ever feeling like I was in a small, intimate setting.

16/02/2026: Very salty pizza accompanied by wine. Sparkling tap water in plastic jugs. Best avoided. Response to the owner: I remind you that you served us the wine yourself, filling our glasses.

19/02/2026: We were visiting Bellano and passed this restaurant. The place is nice but not particularly exciting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered a variety of pizzas, mixed fried foods, and pasta. The food was very good, especially the pizza, which was delicious. The only downside was the loud noise in the dining room. Other than that, it was a good lunch.

20/01/2026: I visited this restaurant with friends after an evening soccer match (it was quite late). We were greeted as if we were the most important guests and immediately felt at ease. Given the hour, we had requested hot and raw appetizers, and we thoroughly enjoyed it; the sparkling wine was also greatly appreciated. I thank the owner, Enzo, and the staff, whom I didn't know, for welcoming us and serving us so attentively. We will return as soon as possible (I know one of our guests already has). Thank you for the wonderful experience.
