Beautiful and particular location, excellent dishes cooked with care and professionalism. We spent a pleasant day on Easter day with a fixed price menu. The only thing that left me a little perplexed was that the pastiera (very good and delicious) and the tiny (almost invisible) portion of colomba was not accompanied by a bit of dry or sweet sparkling wine according to the customers' tastes. Tried it some time ago In a truly beautiful setting, an elegantly renovated old farmhouse, in my father's hometown, I attended a refined graduation lunch for my cousin. The aperitif, pleasantly enjoyed on the veranda, was truly superlative, based on canapés, mussels au gratin, crostini, spelled salads and fried fish, onions and croquettes. We then moved on to the internal restaurant where good dishes followed one another. Above all, a fantastic risotto with taleggio cheese, courgettes and courgette flowers. A flaw perhaps linked to the wine: a Cabernet from Balan, a rather mediocre company, in my opinion, and the fact that in such a rural area I would have expected a few more dishes from the Lodi tradition.

26/02/2024: A high-level restaurant, which however offers studied but simple dishes, which even those who don't like overly "messy" cuisine are able to understand and appreciate. The tartare with caviar and hazelnuts, served on the beef bone, to be enjoyed together with the marrow, pleasantly surprised me. However, on the menu, instead of "caviar", I would have written "red caviar", because when you read "caviar", you expect the black eggs of the sturgeon and not the red ones of the salmon. The 30 egg yolk tagliolini are truly special, but in my opinion, not fully enhanced by the white fish ragù, which is too delicate. The two chocolate mousses are good; a little less tartlet. The service is very good and there is great attention to detail, starting from the glasses, engraved with the name of the restaurant. The meatball offered at the beginning of the meal and the crunchy before the coffee were much appreciated. Prices are average for this level of restaurant.

Ristorante IL PAIOLO

18/02/2024: We had a great time! We called late for a table for two and they found us a seat without any problems (Sunday evening). Excellent pizza in my opinion, good cooking (I also ate the crust which I usually leave aside :P) We felt at ease even though we had 3 dogs with us. I advise
