28/09/2024: Eat at Dogana 3 times. Restaurant with a great ambience, friendly service and very good food. We particularly recommend the Tagliatta di Manzo and the macaroni from the flambéed Grana Patano. The restaurant is highly recommended.

31/12/2024: Quality comes at a price, and I think rightly so, but I would say that Como needs more competition in this type of offer, the margins of this shop are clearly out of the market. 140 euros for around 4 ounces of mixed fish tartare (salmon/tuna/shrimp) to take home. It's hard to get prices like this, even on New Year's Eve. I will return to it from time to time, but I hope there will be more alternatives in this segment soon

28/12/2024: Found by chance. Characteristic place in the center of Como. Friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions but worth highlighting FRESH fish products. Congratulations to all the staff.

16/12/2024: Food: Truly exceptional! Very high quality of ingredients. We highly recommend the risotto with ossobuco and the risotto with speck and green apple. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 risottos (x4 people since a portion of risotto is at least 2 people) and 1 second course, 3 bottles of water and 2 bottles of wine. Service: Available, professional, prepared (the waiter gave us excellent advice on pairing the wine for the dishes chosen both by type and label), polite and courteous. Place: even if the tables are very close together and it is a bit difficult to move inside, the environment is very bright and furnished in a sober and elegant way. Price: the price range is probably important but, if you consider the quality of the service and the dishes, the quality/price ratio is adequate; we paid around €60 per person. On average, every time we return to Milan we stop in when we can!

13/12/2024: On the advice of a friend, I organized a dinner for an association. The place is small and welcoming, about 40 seats. The food and service are quality. Excellent dishes mainly from the Milanese tradition: risotto and meat second courses. The owner is always very available to satisfy requests. Advised

26/10/2024: We dined at this restaurant and opted for the 95-euro tasting menu for each of us. The menu included three starters, two first courses, a main dish, and a dessert, with all selections needing to be the same except for the dessert. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a stunning view. The dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. However, we encountered an issue with the main course. For the main course we both ordered the veal escalope, but to our surprise, we received only a single portion: the waitress served two plates—one with the escalope and a side dish, and the other with only the side dish. She explained that we were expected to share the escalope. However, the escalope was a single piece with a rib, suitable as a portion for one person, not for sharing. This left us feeling like we did not get one main course. This left us disappointed and fell short of our expectations for a tasting menu at this price point.

13/08/2024: An exceptional view with delicious food. The caprese salad here is the best I have ever had. The nettle pasta here is also exceptional.

19/08/2024: Delightful unpretentious family-run hotel with a restaurant that serves topnotch food at affordable prices. Juliana the proprietor is a charming, calm and friendly presence. We have been staying here for years and cannot recommend it highly enough. Swim in the lake -- just a couple of minutes down the steep cobbled alleyways. Lots of fine walks up in the hills or along the shore.

23/12/2024: Slow and rude in the service, moreover they made a mistake in entering the amount of the dinner at the POS and I had to wait 2 weeks for the refund. Calling them every day and teasing me that they would call me back, in tones that shouldn't be used to a customer. Strongly not recommended

18/12/2024: A new place that could certainly surprise, perhaps I didn't choose well, but the starter didn't excite me while the first course was valid. I think with The Fork's 4% discount it's definitely worth another try. The location inside the hotel was relaxing and some details aimed at starred restaurants such as sweet mignon offered were a good way to say goodbye.
