12/06/2026: A lovely Milanese restaurant with rustic, home-cooked food. Friendly, smiling staff.

10/06/2026: We decided to come after seeing it online and reading the reviews. The price is very high. It's a place worth considering. First of all, the staff are very attentive and helpful. Even if you go without a reservation, they will help you. They take care of everyone from arrival to departure. They have a risotto made with saffron and bone marrow that is very good. It's worth coming just to try the risotto. They give you a delicious bread basket. The restrooms are clean; the tables are clean. They also have an enclosed area that expands further inside. It was crowded when we were there and the noise level was high. It's a bit far from the city center, but if you live in this area, it shouldn't be a problem. Completely independent of the price, it wouldn't be a restaurant I would choose again. Because there are better places in Milan.

29/06/2026: We went there twice for breakfast. They offered a good selection of toast, eggs, and yogurt, which was very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. They had a wide variety of coffees, all of which were delicious and, most importantly, very reasonably priced! Highly recommended for the price!

27/06/2026: Foreign-style bar obsessions... In Mandello. When I saw the English menu on the table and the waiter, I was tempted to leave, but I was thirsty. I ordered two spritzes, ten euros, and not even peanuts. Shame on me.

20/05/2026: Pizzeria with a wide selection of dishes, including fish. I personally had pizza because I had to go to a Franciacorta tasting afterwards. The pizza was good. Spying on other tables, I noticed that the portions of both the first and second courses were more than generous. The dessert was also very good.

10/05/2026: The extreme kindness (a rare commodity these days) of all the staff, starting with the owner, is truly noteworthy. She was absolutely helpful and welcoming, even with our DOGS, which made me immensely happy. The food was good, the gluten-free pizza was delicious and light, and the fish dishes were delicious. Prices were reasonable for what was offered. Perhaps the organization could be improved, as the wait for one of the dishes was excessive, but mistakes happen. The place was packed today... We'll definitely be back.

08/07/2026: A very, very beautiful restaurant, in a location that alone is worth the price. In summer or warmer seasons, you can dine lakeside with a splendid view. The service is courteous, fast, and top-notch. The food is quite high quality, but the menu could probably be improved.

13/06/2026: This restaurant was basically empty, inside and outside. Maximum 5 guests were inside. We were 8 people and just because not everyone wanted to eat something (4 of us wanted), they didn’t let us in. Absolute joke. We would’ve at least spend 200-300€ and would be out in probably 30-45 min

17/05/2026: We dined at Gomedo on Friday evening, opting for the fish menu. What can I say? The food was plentiful (three appetizers, two first courses, desserts, water, and bottled wine included in the menu), excellent quality, and priced at €25 per person, significantly lower than average for similar restaurants. The restaurant grounds are beautifully landscaped and surrounded by nature. The grounds are huge. It was an excellent experience; this is my second visit, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

22/05/2026: FINAL DISAPPOINTMENT I went to the Acanto restaurant on Sunday, May 17th, at 9:00 PM. After a short wait for the menu, I was handed one without prices (which I had the foresight to check online). I chose the tasting menu—all the photos are attached to the review—and I must admit I was quite impressed. I wonder if the "pink shrimp tartare sphere" dish was inspired by the famous "Volevo essere un pomodoro" (I wanted to be a tomato) from the Miramonti L'Altro restaurant. Despite this, I must admit that the Seirass ricotta gives the dish excellent balance. For drinks, I ordered still water, a small beer, and two glasses of white wine at the maître d''s discretion (the Vermentino di Sardegna was very good). I arrived at the end of the dinner very satisfied, complimenting the wait staff. I asked for the bill—photo attached—which already included a 5% tip; I still leave a well-deserved 5% tip (total €20). But then I realize I've been truly disappointed—and I'm not talking about the €17 Brancamenta, nor the €14 glass of Vermentino di Sardegna. I was charged €7 for coffee and €10 for still water, even though they were included in the tasting menu. When I kindly pointed this out to the hostess at the register, she initially tried to convince me I was mistaken, then told me she'd call the maître d' right away. As soon as she left, a waiter immediately asked, "The coffee?", as if it were standard procedure to try to include it in the bill. A few minutes later, the maître d' arrived with €17 in cash, apologizing for the incident and calling it a simple "typo." I almost got the feeling, however, that she found it funny that I was complaining. The problem isn't the €17 for a €200 dinner. The problem is ending a dinner that until that point had been perfect—thanks to exquisite dishes—with a bitter taste in your mouth, feeling like you've been scammed. For what, then? Losing a customer? Chef Gabrielli, is this really what you want for your restaurant? Mr. E. Indiani, is this the image you want for your hotel? Is this the hospitality you want to convey? P.S.: Please clean up the menu outside the gate; it's almost illegible.

02/08/2026: A pleasant surprise. The welcome and service were attentive yet simple and discreet. The cuisine was simple and classic, but well-executed. Prices were much more reasonable than many restaurants in Como. Located on a very pleasant square. I recommend it.
