01/01/2026: New Year's Eve Dinner I've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a great time. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. For the New Year's Eve dinner, they outdid themselves. À la carte menu, so you can eat what you want, and the atmosphere was festive with simple table decorations. At midnight, a toast for everyone! Cotechino, lentils, grapes, licis, mandarins, panettone and mascarpone, and music!!! In an instant, a festive and sharing atmosphere was created. How lovely! The surprise party! Simple and elegant. 14/10/2025: I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads. The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus. I would love to come back!

04/01/2026: A totally disappointing experience. Poor service and mediocre food. The bresaola rice timbale had never tasted bresaola before, and the soused whitefish arrived cold and was served in a sloppy manner. The price was also completely off-putting: a cover charge was added to the fixed-price menus and to a child under three who didn't eat at the restaurant. Avoid this place.

09/12/2025: A very elegant location. We've been to this beautiful pizzeria several times. The pizzas are true masterpieces, meticulously crafted, from preparation to perfection. The various doughs are excellent, light, especially when combined with the diverse and excellent ingredients—a perfect combination. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, ready to accommodate any customer needs. A great place to eat without leaving the center of Mantua. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: We went for dinner as a couple at La Quarta Carbonaia on the recommendation of friends and absolutely loved it. It's super busy, so reservations are recommended. As soon as you're seated, they bring you bread and focaccia. The bruschetta with raw sausage is a must-try: amazing, 100% recommended. We ordered a glass of red wine (they have a couple by the glass, so ask them) and then a very tender Florentine steak, truly top-quality. Sides: grilled vegetables and rosemary-sautéed potatoes (other options are also available). Dessert: mille-feuille to share + coffee. Very fair price for the quality of the meat. Oh, and for parking, it's best to arrive a little early, as it's very centrally located.

02/01/2026: We had a pleasant dinner at La Carbonaia 90 and the food was generally well prepared, with a focus on simple, classic Italian flavours. The meat was one of the main highlights of the meal. The steak was served in thick slices, cooked nicely in the centre, with a good texture and flavour. It felt like a straightforward, traditional approach, without unnecessary additions. We also tried a few starters that were light and easy to share. The burrata was fresh and creamy, served simply with greens, and the tomato salad was clean and well seasoned, a good option if you want something lighter. The bruschetta selection was also a nice addition, especially the ones topped with tomatoes and the ones with salami, both paired well with the toasted bread. The pasta dish, carbonara, was served in a classic style, creamy and well balanced, with good pasta texture. It was one of the more satisfying plates on the table. To accompany everything, the flatbread was warm and simple, and worked well as a side for the starters and meat. Overall, La Carbonaia 90 offers a reliable, traditional Italian meal with good quality ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere, a solid choice in Milan for classic dishes done properly.

23/12/2025: I'd like to but I can't, I could but I don't want to? Crazy prices for average-to-low quality dishes and extremely slow and informal service. Truffle-scented tagliolini cost €30, not even in high-end restaurants, and if I say scent, it's because it was the only tangible thing. €200 for four with two dishes each? It's still a "business lunch" restaurant. Let's scale back a bit. Is a customer even free to write a review without having to shoulder the burden of "four families who make a living from this job"? I don't think being presumptuous and not admitting the mistakes the customer points out is the right choice. A bottle of wine brought to the table ALREADY OPENED, without even letting me taste it. Thrown on the table in a plastic tray in a restaurant that offers me a first course for €30? No, that's not normal at all, I've never seen anything like that, not even in a pizzeria. Spaghetti with seafood had a handful of capers and a handful of olives inside, which completely covered the flavor, and perhaps there's a reason for that. The appetizers (3, not 4), by the way, were ALL THE SAME. They arrived cold despite the 30-minute wait that started AFTER ORDERING, of course, I emphasize this because I felt like I was speaking different languages ​​at this point. I'll conclude by saying that the dishes weren't returned because they were edible, but as with everything, everything has to be commensurate with the price, and then the castle collapses.

02/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and immediately appreciated the ambiance and decor. The marinated sardines were excellent, and the carasau bread provided at the start of the meal was much appreciated. The linguine with clams was unforgettable. The potato-crusted sea bass was very good.
