20/05/2026: I've been here before for takeout pizzas; last night I dined at the restaurant. I was particularly impressed with the asparagus risotto, which had an extraordinary flavor, personalized by the chef. The homemade coconut and mango dessert was delicious and beautiful to look at. It's a shame the vegetarian options aren't very good, but I didn't ask the waitress; perhaps she would have offered alternatives. The price is a bit high, even for the quality.

13/04/2026: A perfect stopover near Milan – warmth you can feel! After a very long drive from Germany, we just wanted to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey. Since booking online at short notice was difficult, I called the hotel directly. The owner himself – a very friendly and accommodating young man – took care of everything for us immediately. Our arrival at La Perla Rooms was absolutely seamless, efficient, and quick. The welcome with a complimentary espresso was particularly warm – just what we needed after the long drive! The entire team was so lovely that we also ate at the hotel restaurant that evening. A great decision: the food was amazing! Everything was fresh, quick, and prepared with great care (see photos). If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The entire staff always had a smile on their face. The location in Saronno is also ideal for travelers heading towards Milan. Keep up the great work, we'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: I highly recommend the place. I hosted my parents there, and the rooms were very nice and new. In the evening, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the pizza was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Plus, if you stay there, you get a 10% discount at the restaurant, which is definitely a treat.

03/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The pizza was undercooked and cold. Although the waitress took it back immediately, she couldn't even manage a "sorry." She said the new pizza would be ready in 2 to 3 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes, my pizza was finished, and the new pizza still hadn't arrived. We left, and there was no apology whatsoever when paying the bill either.

28/04/2026: If it weren't for the time that passed between courses, I would have given everything 5 stars (it was Sunday lunch). The atmosphere was perfect, spacious with a lovely outdoor area created with a planted partition. Welcoming, smiling service. First course: fresh pasta, tonnarelli cacio e pepe with shrimp, the best I've ever had in my life, even better than any Roman restaurant. Second course: shrimp all'diavola, good but too much with chili pepper. Everyone else was very satisfied, as was I. The tiramisu was sublime. I didn't think there was a restaurant like this on Via Imperia.

30/04/2026: Business lunch with four colleagues (so we were in a bit of a rush). We waited almost half an hour for our first course, while the same dishes ordered by tables arriving after us were served. The food was pretty poor quality. The sausage risotto tasted boiled, and the meat in the second course was dry. The pizzas looked good, but I didn't try them personally. Not recommended.

18/04/2026: Delicious... Luca is truly a fantastic person, super attentive and helpful.

30/04/2026: The food wasn't up to par, with only the lobster being a good choice. Flavorless mussels; bland spaghetti. The waiter was friendly, but the owner was brusque and unpleasant. The atmosphere was nice, old-fashioned, but nothing special.

10/04/2026: One of the best places to enjoy fish, both raw and cooked. Excellent prawns, oysters, and an unforgettable pasta e fagioli. If you want, there's also excellent pizza; the price isn't cheap, but the quality and freshness of the fish are extraordinary. Update The location has also been renovated; it's modern, relaxing, and well-kept. Spectacular upgrade for the raw fish; the grilled prawns are also excellent. Today, in addition to the usual raw prawns, there are two spectacular first courses and three Delta oysters (very sweet).

27/04/2026: A nice pizzeria with a Neapolitan feel. We were passing through and stopped in, finding the service friendly and fairly quick. The prices are fair, and the pizza is good, though not strictly Neapolitan.

10/05/2026: A wonderful, wonderful place. Everything was delicious, the buffet was plentiful, and everything was decorated with attention to detail. The first course was also delicious 🤤😋, and the fruit with the chocolate fountain was excellent! The staff was kind, helpful, and very friendly. A perfect evening! A place worth it. 💯🔝

16/03/2026: We went to Corte Casello for my mother's birthday dinner. We had a delightful evening. The appetizer buffet was rich and delicious, and also beautiful to look at. The main courses we tried were delicious; the veal with onions was exceptional. The desserts were delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. The staff was very kind, attentive, and helpful. They brought my mother a personalized birthday cake, with a truly delicious lemon cream. The place is well-kept and very charming, with lots of fairy lights that create a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back again and again!! Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: We spent two nights about ten days ago at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perched right on the lake, its location is ideal. The room we were given wasn't quite right, but for a small extra charge, we were given another. It was large, clean, well-equipped, and perfect, with a view of the lake. Just a hundred meters from the dock where you can take a boat trip around the lake, stopping at various ports of call, you eventually reach Bellagio, a charming little town. In short, I highly recommend this hotel. I should add that the owner, a Frenchman, was welcoming and friendly.

03/05/2026: We had reserved a table at this restaurant for our last evening at Lake Como. Our expectations were quite high due to the good reviews. We got a table right by the water. When we opened the menu, the prices initially shocked us. Yes, Lake Como is expensive, and we're happy to spend more for good food... but paying almost €30 for a 'normal' pasta dish was still a bit much. Well, since it was our last evening, we ordered what we fancied anyway (one pasta with pistachio cream and prawns, one fish with a side dish). Both were €30 each, plus a side salad (which consisted of just a few green leaves, some other carelessly arranged bits and pieces, and far too much dressing made from plain yogurt). This salad then cost an unbelievable €14. A bottle of wine started at €30 (online price €12). To our disappointment, the food didn't really live up to expectations. My pasta tasted of absolutely nothing. It was so bland that any homemade sauce would taste better. There were a maximum of three prawns on the plate, cut into tiny pieces. My partner's fish was lukewarm. For the price, we simply expected more. The only time anyone asked if everything was okay was at the very end, when the table was finally cleared. I said "well," and poof, the plates were gone, and no one asked any further questions. The female server (with short hair on the sides) was very friendly. The male server (with a larger belly), on the other hand, seemed forcedly friendly and was rather unpleasant. We definitely wouldn't come back. Yes, the view was nice, but you can get that almost anywhere on Lake Como.
