Mimì – La Casa dei Sapori has a very warm and authentic atmosphere, right in the heart of Bergamo Alta. We tried the casoncelli alla bergamasca and the stracotta guancia (stuffed pork cheek): good, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes, you can taste the traditional cuisine. The wine was also very pleasant. The restaurant is quaint and welcoming, perfect if you want to eat something traditional in a rustic and simple setting. Only one personal note: the final bill seemed a bit high considering the cover charge, glasses, and some of the overall prices. Furthermore, the single bathroom near the dining room can easily create queues between tables at busy times. Overall, a great experience, especially for those who want to try Bergamo cuisine in the city center.

A very intimate place with a warm welcome. All-you-can-eat breakfast for €9. Good quality dishes. The fruit was a bit past its prime... For lunch, 8 years later, it was a real surprise! A delight: authentic and expertly prepared ingredients. Incredible flavors. The wine selection was perfect.

Reasonably good food, but quite pricey! Furthermore, the restaurant is full with many tables close together, so there is virtually no privacy for talking.

Amazing workers doing their best and just being wonderful. My meal was so good that I wanted 6 more plates of it . The water was so good and it was the best water Iv ever had and I don’t like water but that was amazing. And I love it I’d give infinite stars.

This is the only example of a multi-purpose restaurant I've ever had, as the two spaces are opposite each other on the short side of Via Colleoni. One side, more attractive, I suppose serves to attract customers and then crowd them into the opposite space. The garden is a claustrophobic, cordoned-off space where it's difficult to avoid other customers' chairs. Provided you're slim. In any case, I ordered the cheek, which I found incredibly tender, although in my opinion it was very tender. A consultation with the owner was inconclusive: it's well known that the names of cuts of meat change at each toll booth.

Recommended place, the food is good, traditional dishes. The polenta is recommended. However, it's a bit cramped; they put us at a table for two, and there were four of us.

The food was delicious! The staff was very polite and funny. The service was very fast. Cute servingboy ;)
