27/10/2025: Disappointed by this restaurant. I chose it based on the good reviews, but compared to everything I've tried in Varenna, I felt like I was in a tourist trap. The cheese tasting (€18) was really not up to scratch: limited portions, little honey or jam, and stale bread to accompany it all. The wine was decent, and fortunately, the friendly service helped raise the bill a bit.

27/10/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant, as I'd seen good reviews and tempting photos. However, the pasta I ordered was really not great, and the cheese platter was very disappointing. We were seated upstairs, a bit forgotten. However, the servers were friendly and cheerful.

22/10/2025: When we visit beautiful Salò, we usually stop at this lakeside restaurant, frequented mostly by locals and open to non-members. The menu features lake fish and meat, as well as daily specials. The dishes are quite generous but a little bland, and the fish is well-cooked, presented, and crisp. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The location is simple but pleasant, right on the promenade and the pier. Service is quick and informal. Good value. Reservations or early arrival are recommended.

10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.

31/10/2025: Poor food, nonexistent "seafood" pizza, watery because everything was frozen. Service, can you give it a zero? They came by twice to ask if we'd ordered even though we'd already ordered. They left the menu card, which a "waitress" later came by to bring with an arrogance I've never seen. Customers pass behind me to get food (there's a conveyor belt with food containers, even for self-service), and I have to be careful every time so I don't fall on my head.

26/11/2025: Pizza with friends, nothing special. I asked for fresh pineapple, but it arrived with blackened parts. The staff was attentive, although if I were the waitress, I would have refused to bring such a dessert to the table. The location is industrial chic.

16/11/2025: A charming and quaint place, ideal for those stopping for lunch or dinner after or during a day of skiing. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service is very fast. The reason for the 3 stars is that, despite the good value, the food isn't exactly "exciting." As mentioned above, it's excellent for those who want a quick bite.

17/11/2025: We also used it during our lunch break. Excellent value. It's one of the few restaurants that offers a business lunch menu for €13. The atmosphere is the same as it was 40 years ago, but that doesn't make it a bad place. I just suggest reviewing the internal organization of the waiters. Sometimes there are misunderstandings between them (who does what). Otherwise, the menu is always quite varied and of good quality.

18/11/2025: A place where you feel great, a real Italian restaurant. The prices are ok (12 euros for a pizza, 15 euros for pasta, 6 euros for a beer). What I don't like is that you are charged 3 euros per person for sitting at the table.

The pizzas are simply spectacular: light, soft, well-leavened dough with a perfect balance of crispiness and softness. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and of excellent quality. In addition to the delicious pizzas, we can also give positive feedback on the first and second courses. Special mention goes to the management. The staff is friendly, professional, attentive, and always available to recommend the best options on the menu. You can sense their passion and love for tradition and their curiosity for innovation. A place where conviviality and pleasure are at home. Highly recommended for those who appreciate a relaxing, well-kept, and clean environment. Excellent value for money. See you soon!
