27/01/2026: I'll start with the food because it's really good, the portions are ample, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself isn't bad, but I should add that it was expanded at a cost, but that's not a problem. Service, too, varies between quick and slow. We were shown to our table and given menus within a few minutes (when walking with a customer, the waiter might already be taking the menu, especially since when a customer enters from the street, the waiter waits with a stack of menu cards). The food is served faster. The biggest plus is the Vulcano pizza.

04/01/2026: A totally disappointing experience. Poor service and mediocre food. The bresaola rice timbale had never tasted bresaola before, and the soused whitefish arrived cold and was served in a sloppy manner. The price was also completely off-putting: a cover charge was added to the fixed-price menus and to a child under three who didn't eat at the restaurant. Avoid this place.

04/01/2026: All in all, the food is good, but there is no air exchange, every time I come home my clothes give off a strong food smell. I reported this inconvenience to the owner and he and the cashier looked at me as if I had spoken of a flying donkey... 🤷. 23/12/2025: I'd like to but I can't, I could but I don't want to? Crazy prices for average-to-low quality dishes and extremely slow and informal service. Truffle-scented tagliolini cost €30, not even in high-end restaurants, and if I say scent, it's because it was the only tangible thing. €200 for four with two dishes each? It's still a "business lunch" restaurant. Let's scale back a bit. Is a customer even free to write a review without having to shoulder the burden of "four families who make a living from this job"? I don't think being presumptuous and not admitting the mistakes the customer points out is the right choice. A bottle of wine brought to the table ALREADY OPENED, without even letting me taste it. Thrown on the table in a plastic tray in a restaurant that offers me a first course for €30? No, that's not normal at all, I've never seen anything like that, not even in a pizzeria. Spaghetti with seafood had a handful of capers and a handful of olives inside, which completely covered the flavor, and perhaps there's a reason for that. The appetizers (3, not 4), by the way, were ALL THE SAME. They arrived cold despite the 30-minute wait that started AFTER ORDERING, of course, I emphasize this because I felt like I was speaking different languages ​​at this point. I'll conclude by saying that the dishes weren't returned because they were edible, but as with everything, everything has to be commensurate with the price, and then the castle collapses.

25/01/2026: I made a reservation for four people by phone, but once we got to the restaurant, no one knew about it. The receptionist didn't even know the restaurant's phone number, so just in case I'd made the wrong reservation, I called the number I had used for the reservation... the number was correct. We quickly had to wait for a table, and they already lost points. We ate four pizzas that weren't good at all, and...paying for four pizzas, three beers, one spritz, two coffees, and two liqueurs, was €91. A bit too much. In any case, their approach may be fine for foreign tourists... I'd like to point out that everyone may or may not like whatever they eat; it depends on their personal tastes... it's a shame that I'm a chef first and foremost, and I've also worked as a pizza chef, and since I ate and ordered four pizzas, I think they could have been made better. Not to mention, the pizza dough needs fixing... I'm 57 years old and I've been in the business for a long time... I've also managed a restaurant, I know there will always be someone who won't be happy, but there's always room for improvement.

04/11/2025: This review covers the hotel and restaurant. As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it. As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.

20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of. More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people. After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived. We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.) Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better. Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

04/01/2026: A truly remarkable restaurant. Located directly on the lake, it offers a stunning view. The menu isn't terribly extensive, which, in my opinion, is a sign of the attention paid to the food served. We enjoyed excellent appetizers (the fish appetizer was interesting, and the prawns over polenta were delicious) and equally good first courses (paccheri with perch and the classic casonsei pasta). I also think the small bottles offered are a smart choice (there's a good selection), for those who don't want to overdo it with wine. The only minor flaw is that the appetizers weren't served at the same time, but rather with a reasonable amount of time between them, but there were quite a few customers, which is entirely excusable. Prices are in line with the food served. Of course, we can't help but mention the setting: Lovere is truly a stunning place. It's worth walking along the lakeside and visiting the inland part of town. Very chic!!!

31/12/2025: We stopped in Lovere for lunch at this restaurant. The place is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered three pizzas, which were truly delicious, and the desserts were delicious! The view of the lake is the icing on the cake! Definitely recommended.

21/01/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere in Argegno. The room was spacious, spotless, and ready upon our arrival, which made check-in seamless. The hotel team was very helpful and even coordinated our transfer from Milan, which made getting there stress-free. The views from both the room and the hotel were absolutely spectacular. Argegno is a smaller town, but being right on the waterfront and next to the dock made it incredibly convenient for exploring Lake Como. Such a beautiful hotel — I would highly recommend staying here!

18/11/2025: A sadly outdated hotel, otherwise in a beautiful location, but with a mass-production feel. For hours at night, there was a loud argument that kept flaring up in the hotel, which the staff failed to resolve despite guest complaints. Also, due to the literally astronomical price-performance ratio: Never again!

Your answer is completely wrong...the information I included refers to the question of whether the place is suitable for groups of 9 people, not that we were a group of 9. Since you think this review is false, I'll tell you that I was too kind in not writing that we were forced to witness a loud argument between the owner's son and the bartender, and that it being a Friday, there were only three tables occupied. How sad!!! So, I repeat, not recommended!!!

03/11/2025: An exceptional experience, as always. "Da Giulia" is a family-run restaurant serving the freshest seafood, with excellent traditional Apulian and Sicilian dishes. We stop by every time we're in Milan, having discovered them through the "4 Ristoranti" program. It's become a must-visit ❤️. Of course, there are also "meat" options, which we haven't tried yet. The prices are fair for the food offered, and the service is attentive. The "Lugana" wine from the "Ca' dei Frati" winery is highly recommended for a seafood dinner. The average price indicated refers to what we ate: about €100 each, including three courses per person, two desserts, one wine, water, and service.

09/12/2025: A very elegant location. We've been to this beautiful pizzeria several times. The pizzas are true masterpieces, meticulously crafted, from preparation to perfection. The various doughs are excellent, light, especially when combined with the diverse and excellent ingredients—a perfect combination. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, ready to accommodate any customer needs. A great place to eat without leaving the center of Mantua. Highly recommended.
