13/02/2026: For goodness sake, a fixed-price menu for €12. I'm not expecting Cracco, but at least a minimum... Friendly and fast staff. Decent vegetable buffet at the entrance. I ordered risotto and fried calamari. The risotto didn't taste like saffron risotto. And it was also tough. But okay, they don't cook it specifically for me, so it was probably precooked. But the calamari are embarrassing. I won't describe them out of politeness, but I'll attach a photo. You can definitely find better around.

03/10/2025: Positive: The mini golf course is also okay, and for €5 per adult and €4 for children, it's okay. But that's about all the great things Lido Menaggio has to offer. Contrary: I can say without exaggeration that the bathing area is an absolute disgrace compared to the entrance prices, bordering on a rip-off. A family of four pays €20 to enter. However, after that, you're only allowed to lie on the lawn. A sun lounger costs an additional €4, and a parasol another €4. You quickly notice that the entire complex is unkempt, and in some places even looks neglected. The toilets aren't cleaned (literally covered in trash), there's no toilet paper, the sand soccer field is a disgrace, with broken glass on the floor and staff walking carelessly past it, and cigarette butts on the lawn. After a power outage lasting almost two hours, the thawed ice cream is resold. Truly disgusting!!! We declined politely. The other food options are no better. A regular burger costs €6, a sausage in a bun with mustard is sold as a hot dog and costs €5, and a regular-sized portion of fries also costs €5. The prices are outrageous considering what's on offer. The Menaggio Lido seems to want to be a hip place. But it can't. It seems forced and incompetent. The list of flaws could go on endlessly. In Germany, a lido like this would have to close after one season. I can think of one good thing, though... The water playground in the lake is great; all the kids who can swim and the adults have fun here, and that was ultimately the only reason we went there three times. Otherwise, you can safely avoid this place. But form your own opinion. Have fun!

11/11/2025: Review made when the place was called Chic and Quick. The atmosphere was anything but chic, and the service was anything but quick. Upon arrival, our table wasn't ready despite our reservation, but setting it up only required moving glasses and cutlery from another free table. After being seated, we waited at least 10 minutes for the menus (paper) and the wine and beer list (on a tablet). Unfortunately, the only craft beer on the list wasn't available. After taking our orders, we were brought an entree consisting of a cream puff filled with tuna tuna sauce (not a typo) and a mini spritz. Then the first orders arrived (already an hour after we arrived). The raw fish dishes were very good, the orecchiette were decidedly too al dente, and the pepper risotto was good, even though it included a herb not listed on the menu. Among the main courses, the cutlet was excellent (less so the cutlet), and the octopus alla Luciana was good. Among the good desserts, the chestnut parfait and the tiramisu (though it had very little of the tiramisu aspect), were delicious. The dark chocolate soufflé with pistachio cream was disappointing: the pistachio cream was a small green pond, not at all creamy, and the soufflé was dry and a bit bland. We were then offered a small glass containing a piece of Colomba cake dipped in the custard. The Bomba Carta bitters were good; we asked for them when we saw them on display, but they didn't offer them (when we asked for a bitter, we were offered the usual ones). The decor was a bit dated and lacking in cohesion. Service was a bit slow, and above all, one of the waiters was argumentative and pedantic. Prices were perhaps slightly above average.

16/10/2025: Incontri by Sadler is the evolution of the Chic n Quick bistro by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler. It's a contemporary venue, starting with the ambiance. A symphony of cream and beige tones with understated yet trendy furnishings, like the tables set with impeccable matching placemats and the comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing. Large windows let in generous amounts of light. This venue is now open for private events, cooking classes by the Michelin-starred chef, and themed evenings (such as the one on white truffles, a four-handed sake evening with sommelier Mario Ippoliti and Marius Dumitru...) every evening, accompanied by dishes perfectly prepared by Claudio and his right-hand man Andrea Giannella. My wife and I decided to cook in this beautiful venue on a Saturday evening to entertain about twenty friends. The evening was one of the most beautiful we've ever spent (thanks to the wonderful people we met and the impeccable service provided by Francesca and the entire staff). Highly recommended venue.

12/01/2026: Business Lunch I found the atmosphere well-maintained... the staff courteous... My order arrived quickly, and despite it being a "simple" business lunch, I must say everything was well presented and excellent!... Fair prices... well... Absolutely recommended!

23/12/2025: I'd like to but I can't, I could but I don't want to? Crazy prices for average-to-low quality dishes and extremely slow and informal service. Truffle-scented tagliolini cost €30, not even in high-end restaurants, and if I say scent, it's because it was the only tangible thing. €200 for four with two dishes each? It's still a "business lunch" restaurant. Let's scale back a bit. Is a customer even free to write a review without having to shoulder the burden of "four families who make a living from this job"? I don't think being presumptuous and not admitting the mistakes the customer points out is the right choice. A bottle of wine brought to the table ALREADY OPENED, without even letting me taste it. Thrown on the table in a plastic tray in a restaurant that offers me a first course for €30? No, that's not normal at all, I've never seen anything like that, not even in a pizzeria. Spaghetti with seafood had a handful of capers and a handful of olives inside, which completely covered the flavor, and perhaps there's a reason for that. The appetizers (3, not 4), by the way, were ALL THE SAME. They arrived cold despite the 30-minute wait that started AFTER ORDERING, of course, I emphasize this because I felt like I was speaking different languages ​​at this point. I'll conclude by saying that the dishes weren't returned because they were edible, but as with everything, everything has to be commensurate with the price, and then the castle collapses.

14/03/2026: In the heart of Vigevano, a splendid restaurant, the food even more astonishing, with excellent ingredients for every dish. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. Definitely worth a try.

18/03/2026: This hotel was amazing! We were not supposed to stay in Lake Como and we booked last minute and ended up staying 2 nights since it was so good! The views from the room were amazing, the location is perfect, the breakfast was the best we had in Europe with plenty of Gluten Free options. We spent some time in the sauna which was so fun. We had a delicious drink at the bar and they gave us ao many complementary delicious snacks. We dined at the hotel restaurant one night and it was delicious. Can't believe we paid so little for such a complete experience!
