10/01/2026: We just had lunch at this wonderful restaurant and will definitely be back because the food was excellent, the staff was kind and helpful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and it was truly a wonderful experience overall!

10/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for the first time this evening. An experience to forget in every way: from appetizers to main courses to dessert. The menu doesn't reflect the dishes served, as some ingredients are missing. The desserts were terrible: they took a long time to arrive, and only then did we understand why: they were frozen. The chocolate cake, however, was served burnt. Also, pay attention to your receipt: we encountered several issues, with some dishes being priced higher than what was listed on the menu. We absolutely do not recommend it.

05/04/2026: Excellent half-board menu for €30 per person with four courses. We ate well, with a variety of choices at a great price. I especially want to compliment the staff: friendly, professional, fast, and attentive. The waiters were efficient and top-notch. Highly recommended, especially for those staying at the hotel.

07/03/2026: A family-friendly atmosphere where frills are banished. The trattoria presents itself as a typical example of "old Bergamo." It serves traditional country dishes. Excellent food at truly competitive prices. It's worth a visit. Some evenings feature jazz music. In addition to families, the restaurant is also frequented by many young people.

03/10/2025: Positive: The mini golf course is also okay, and for €5 per adult and €4 for children, it's okay. But that's about all the great things Lido Menaggio has to offer. Contrary: I can say without exaggeration that the bathing area is an absolute disgrace compared to the entrance prices, bordering on a rip-off. A family of four pays €20 to enter. However, after that, you're only allowed to lie on the lawn. A sun lounger costs an additional €4, and a parasol another €4. You quickly notice that the entire complex is unkempt, and in some places even looks neglected. The toilets aren't cleaned (literally covered in trash), there's no toilet paper, the sand soccer field is a disgrace, with broken glass on the floor and staff walking carelessly past it, and cigarette butts on the lawn. After a power outage lasting almost two hours, the thawed ice cream is resold. Truly disgusting!!! We declined politely. The other food options are no better. A regular burger costs €6, a sausage in a bun with mustard is sold as a hot dog and costs €5, and a regular-sized portion of fries also costs €5. The prices are outrageous considering what's on offer. The Menaggio Lido seems to want to be a hip place. But it can't. It seems forced and incompetent. The list of flaws could go on endlessly. In Germany, a lido like this would have to close after one season. I can think of one good thing, though... The water playground in the lake is great; all the kids who can swim and the adults have fun here, and that was ultimately the only reason we went there three times. Otherwise, you can safely avoid this place. But form your own opinion. Have fun!

13/04/2026: My wife and I had an incredible experience here. We celebrated our wedding at the restaurant Visteria downstairs and then continued at the bar immediately afterwards. The view was incredible, the food sensational and the service was top notch. All of the staff made the night so memorable, and our bartender Aziz made the celebration more special than we could have asked for. We will happily return in the future!

13/04/2026: My husband & I got married in Varenna this Spring and had the absolute pleasure to eat & have cocktails at Visteria for our celebratory dinner. Aziz, our bartender made our night so heartfelt & special! He has to be one of the most charismatic, passionate & knowledgeable bartenders we’ve ever had. He puts so much so much care into his work & we feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with his service. If you are visiting the Lake Como area, you must give this have a drink or 3 with Aziz at Visteria! Salute! 👏🏽

14/04/2026: Beautiful hotel with a lake view. The food is excellent. The panoramic terrace is unbeatable; you can almost touch the lake. Excellent value for money, very good, and very interesting considering the tourist attraction of Lake Iseo. I highly recommend it; you certainly won't regret staying there.

08/04/2026: Monday Easter Monday and Tuesday, internal parking, already from the reception and all the staff are highly friendly, in the evening I had dinner in an extremely elegant dining room and I must say that all the dishes were refined and carefully prepared, definitely excellent cuisine, Villa positioned with a view of the lake I highly recommend

13/04/2026: A perfect stopover near Milan – warmth you can feel! After a very long drive from Germany, we just wanted to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey. Since booking online at short notice was difficult, I called the hotel directly. The owner himself – a very friendly and accommodating young man – took care of everything for us immediately. Our arrival at La Perla Rooms was absolutely seamless, efficient, and quick. The welcome with a complimentary espresso was particularly warm – just what we needed after the long drive! The entire team was so lovely that we also ate at the hotel restaurant that evening. A great decision: the food was amazing! Everything was fresh, quick, and prepared with great care (see photos). If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The entire staff always had a smile on their face. The location in Saronno is also ideal for travelers heading towards Milan. Keep up the great work, we'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: I highly recommend the place. I hosted my parents there, and the rooms were very nice and new. In the evening, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the pizza was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Plus, if you stay there, you get a 10% discount at the restaurant, which is definitely a treat.

04/04/2026: One evening, a wine tasting and tapas: the wine selection was excellent, and the pairings included three fish dishes, three local cured meats, and three local cheeses. Another evening, for dinner, I chose the tasting menu, from appetizer to dessert, with unusual yet extraordinary pairings, such as sea bass and artichokes or a pear and ice cream tartine, beautifully presented! Not to mention the attentive, professional service, which always makes you feel at ease, with plenty of wine pairing suggestions! The atmosphere was refined and relaxing! You couldn't ask for anything better!

17/03/2026: I stopped in for a pizza slice in the evening. It's a cute, '70s-style place, the staff are very friendly, and what really surprised me was the very competitive prices. They also offer a dinner menu, which is almost impossible to find elsewhere.

01/03/2026: The quality of the food has significantly deteriorated. The staff is always in a rush and constantly trying to get you up. Especially on Sundays, when people would like to enjoy a quiet lunch. Their spaghetti with clams used to be one of the best, but now it's inedible. Dessert that should have been served hot was Cold. This is undoubtedly due to too much work and too little staff. I'm sorry because I always came here for many years, but now I won't be coming again.

04/01/2026: A totally disappointing experience. Poor service and mediocre food. The bresaola rice timbale had never tasted bresaola before, and the soused whitefish arrived cold and was served in a sloppy manner. The price was also completely off-putting: a cover charge was added to the fixed-price menus and to a child under three who didn't eat at the restaurant. Avoid this place.

25/12/2025: I didn't know this restaurant and discovered it by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Exquisite Mediterranean dishes, impeccably prepared by the chef. The fish is truly excellent! Congratulations, keep up the good work! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

13/04/2026: We had a very good meal, special mention to the restaurant's specialty: squid ink pasta with shrimp. The service was also very welcoming.
