12/06/2025: Every aspect of our short stay was pleasant, starting with the warm and attentive welcome. The staff was extremely helpful and professional: it is clear how much they care about making guests feel at home. The cuisine is another strong point. We had a divine dinner on the hotel terrace. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with the essentials for a stay. Finally, the location is ideal for exploring the village and getting around on foot.

07/08/2025: Everything is delicious. The pasta and risotto that you can get served from the parmesan cheese wheel are the best options for first-timers (especially with truffle), but everything there is great.

01/08/2025: Very friendly service and excellent ragu on the Tagliatelle. Wanted to try a Bologna special and it did not disappoint. Cream tortillini wasn't bad either, but the added truffle was not cheap.

07/09/2025: In our opinion, this is the best seafood restaurant in the Piacenza area. Spectacular raw fish and refined, modern, and original dishes. We recommend following the owner's advice when choosing wines. Desserts are a must, as they're the perfect end to an excellent dinner.

30/07/2025: Lo Zodiaco è un ristorante storico di Rivazzurra, ha sempre piatti all’avanguardia belli alla vista e di ottimo gusto, hanno un menù molto vasto. Il personale è professionale e accogliente, il servizio è molto rapido. Ottima qualità prezzo e ti offrono sempre fornarina, ammazzacaffè ( liquore liquirizia/limoncello) e ciambellone. Consigliatissimo ma conviene sempre prenotare, perché è un ristorante molto ambito da turisti e locali.

14/08/2025: First of all, the mussels were very good, but this award refers to part of their core business, pizza. I had seen that they offer a pizza with whole-wheat sourdough for an additional charge. Since I bake with my own sourdough once a week, I know that whole-wheat dough can be difficult. Nevertheless, I had corresponding expectations, since they bake with sourdough professionally. Unfortunately, I was confronted with a very dense/firm and doughy crust. So either the dough needed to rise longer, or the pizzaiolo kneaded out all the airiness it had. The taste was okay, and I wouldn't order the whole-wheat dough again, at least not the one.

17/08/2025: On a weekend getaway, my friend Selene and I decided to point to a random city and set off. Ferrara, that's the winning city. Arriving in this very elegant and small city, we looked for a place to have dinner, something that would leave a lasting impression. Osteria la compagnia, a completely family-run restaurant, with their friendliness and joy, immediately made us feel at ease, involved, and above all relaxed. We ordered cappellacci with ragù, which we'd eaten elsewhere the night before, but these undoubtedly far surpassed them. We also ordered tagliatelle with chickpea, lime, and shrimp hummus, which I'll try to make again at home, hoping it turns out just as fresh and well-mixed. The pasta was cooked excellently. And then the roast beef, with soy sauce and honey. It was incredibly tender. A light but tasty off-menu dish, we thoroughly enjoyed and even finished it! All accompanied by a Pimpinella white wine from Campania, which I'd never heard of or tried before. It's definitely become part of my sommelier's study log. We'll finish with a dessert, or rather two. A typical local zuppa inglese and a chocolate salami. What can I say? Thank you 🙏🏼 for the service, your kindness, and above all, thank you for the excellent food. We hope to see you soon.

20/08/2025: We stayed in the hotel but didn’t eat at the restaurant. The hotel combines traditional and modern designs, so the rough walls host straight metal stairs with under lights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the fields are open and pleasant to walk around. The down side is that it lacks some personality, and everything is very neutral and plain.

Refined, well-balanced dishes and a wine list to suit every need, along with the attention to detail reserved for their guests, leave me with nothing but a 5-star review. 14/08/2025: We stopped for a pizza to split the trip. We'd been here last year and had a great time. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the wait time both to order and to be served was over twenty minutes each, most likely due to the restaurant being so busy. The place is a bit noisy due to the vaulted ceilings, but the red brick walls create a very pleasant atmosphere. The only real downside was the quality of the pizza, which we found very dry, almost toasty, despite the quality of the ingredients. It's a shame because we had fond memories of this place; perhaps we were just unlucky in deciding to eat here during the week of Ferragosto.

02/07/2025: The food is amazing. Best pizza I ever had. Favorite place in Piacenza definitely. The service isn’t extremely fast and the opening hours can be alittle tricky but loved it there!!
