19/07/2026: Dining at Antica Trattoria Al Gallo 1909 was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The food was outstanding – beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavors, and clearly made with passion and respect for tradition. What made the experience truly unforgettable was Umberto, a wonderful host and an exceptional wine expert. His warmth, knowledge, and perfectly chosen wine pairings elevated the entire evening. We felt more like guests in his home than customers in a restaurant.

18/07/2026: I have only positive things to say about this place. Other than the fact that the restaurant is beautiful, you feel like you are in a museum of art but the service is excellent, fast and the food is incredible. The owners are around, you do feel that they care and nurture their place the way they should.

22/07/2026: A wonderful evening. Nice atmosphere, and fast, competent service. The gnocchi were excellent, and the fried food was dry and plentiful. Prices were well below average! Definitely worth a visit again!

01/06/2026: The food is good. Today, unfortunately, the tagliolini with clams were excellent; the pasta was excellent, but the clams were awful. (It can happen.) Obviously, it's not cheap, and you'd like everything to be good.

30/05/2026: Excellent gluten-free piadinas, fried foods, and crescioni. Table service isn't available, but that's no problem. As soon as it's ready, they'll call you to collect your tray and you can sit at a table inside or outside. A wide variety of options and ingredients, and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

It has managed to innovate and reach an increasingly refined level of cuisine, without ever losing sight of the Romagna gastronomic tradition. The dishes are innovative, original, and meticulously crafted, with surprising pairings that never compromise on balance and flavor. The plating is elegant and meticulously crafted, and the quality of the ingredients is exceptional. Great care is evident in every preparation, right down to the bread baked in-house. The offerings for wine enthusiasts are particularly appealing: expertly crafted wine pairings highlight each course. The wine selection is also excellent. An ideal restaurant for those who love quality cuisine, innovative and refined yet deeply rooted in its roots. Professional and attentive service is complemented by a warm welcome. A restaurant worth discovering and always a pleasure to return to.

18/05/2026: A wonderful experience at Ristorante Al 45 Senza Glutine. It was a real pleasure to find a restaurant where you can enjoy Italian cuisine gluten-free, with genuine attention paid to intolerances. I had the gluten-free tagliatelle al ragù, which was delicious, and I was served gluten-free bread with olive oil and pepper—excellent. My partner chose the catch of the day, a turbot, accompanied by potatoes and vegetables—a real treat. The fish was a bit more expensive, but very fresh, so it was well worth it. The service was top-notch: they took the time to explain each fish available, even showing us photos on their phones, which was very much appreciated. They take intolerances very seriously, which is truly reassuring. The prices are reasonable overall. We also discovered an excellent Albana di Romagna, a typical white wine from the region. And a major plus: the back terrace is magnificent, very peaceful and full of charm. The location is ideal, right next to the Baptistery of the Ariadne and near the Oratory of the Blessed Sacrament, making a meal even more enjoyable after a visit to the historic center.

19/07/2026: Kudos to the chef for the quality of the menu and his ability to surprise with sophisticated yet balanced pairings. The value for money is absolutely in line with the experience offered. A restaurant that fully deserves its excellent reputation. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality seafood cuisine in Ravenna. Kudos to the entire staff!

17/05/2026: Entering this restaurant is almost like a journey through twenty thousand leagues under the sea. Expectations are high, the staff and kitchen are welcoming, and the menu piques our curiosity. The oysters and raw shrimp are excellent. The eel risotto is delicious and well-crafted. The sturgeon dish disappointed me; the brioche was soaked in butter, and the sturgeon was a bit spicy (not inedible, but enough to annoy those who don't like spicy food), which should be noted on the menu. The iconic spaghetti is a dish made with excellent ingredients, and the spaghetti is well-cooked, but the sauce was soupy and washed out. The cheesecake is good, and the bergamot sorbet is excellent. In the small pastry shop, the caramelized popcorn has unexploded kernels, making it difficult to chew. The cuisine is still maturing, and the dining room is a bit unripe. In conclusion, a bit of a disappointment.

07/08/2026: Very good restaurant in a great location in Ravenna. We had a mixed grilled meat platter, which was delicious and came with some very tasty sides. The service was very good, and the terrace is really pleasant. It wasn’t very busy when we were there, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Definitely a great place to eat!

19/07/2026: The older bartender was really unpleasant; it felt like he was doing you a favor by serving you. It's a really nice place, but these things put you off coming back. The other bartenders and waiters were very kind.

28/06/2026: While walking through the streets of Ravenna, we chose this place for dinner. It's hidden from the street, nestled in a small square tucked away between houses. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance. The price was also very reasonable.

For three euros and fifty cents, other ice cream shops now let you see your gelato through binoculars... but here at Bar Linus, you'll really be satisfied. Delicious, and many compliments!!
