Situated in a prime location, just behind the Ferrara Cathedral, is the Osteria degli Adelardi, which immediately strikes you as a charming and well-kept inn.
The menu is varied, ranging from meat to fish, but the highlight is the pizza, which is light and easily digestible. The calzone (classic or spicy) is also highly recommended, and always comes with a small bowl of tomato sauce. I'm also curious to try the burgers. Finally, the desserts deserve a special mention: they're homemade and truly delicious.
The staff is friendly and professional, making guests feel at ease. Finally, given the popularity, reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center, on a narrow street next to the cathedral. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The first courses are excellent, I highly recommend them, and the second courses are equally delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more.

A nice little osteria serving pasta and pizza. I especially loved the pasta dish with three different types of pasta; the pizza was also delicious. Reservations are recommended, as it's a relatively quiet place to sit on a side street.

Friendly service, delicious food, reasonable prices. A wonderful experience, one of those places where you feel right at home! We had lunch, featuring a starter and dessert, and everything was wonderful. Since they also make pizza, and it looked really inviting, we even decided to return for dinner that same evening: excellent pizza, light and easy to digest! Everything was perfect, highly recommended.
