Acquadolce made our Easter perfect. The service was attentive but not intrusive, the atmosphere was refined yet relaxing and not overwhelming, the food was delicate yet distinctive, the timing was perfect, and the location was unique. Carmelo, the chef, introduced himself personally and immediately conveyed his passion for cuisine, based on authentic flavors and attention to detail (including aesthetics!). Acquadolce is a pure jewel that will never be forgotten, and it stands out clearly from the tourist-friendly lab diamonds that unfortunately dominate Lake Como. It's a place we'll return to, and where the price is justified by the fantastic offering. Thank you!

Overall, a mixed experience at this lakeside restaurant. We spent €90 each for two appetizers, two first courses, two coffees, and a bottle of wine: a significant bill that raised high expectations, which, unfortunately, were only partially met. Let's start with the positives: the food was undoubtedly high quality, with excellent ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. A special mention goes to the young lady at the entrance, who was truly friendly, welcoming, and professional: an excellent first impression. Moving on to the critical points, the service needs improvement. After the entrée, I waited a long time for bread and breadsticks without them arriving; when I mentioned this, the waitress's response was rather disconcerting ("we usually bring them later"), hardly in keeping with the quality the restaurant aims to offer. The wait for the first courses was long. The spaghetti with crab (€35) arrived lukewarm/cold and in a very small portion (literally just a few forkfuls). The ravioli, on the other hand, were very good, but unfortunately we found a hair on our plate, an incident that inevitably ruined the experience. Another negative note about the service: when it came to the coffee (€6), no side dishes were brought. Only when it was time to pay did the same waitress who had had the bread mix-up arrive, bringing a small cake stand with some pastries, saying she hadn't had time before. We found ourselves eating them literally right next to the cash register: a rather surreal and sloppy situation. The gesture of offering coffee for the mix-up was appreciated, but it's still difficult to justify a €6 coffee price, which is decidedly excessive. In summary: good food, but subpar service and prices disproportionate to the overall experience. A restaurant with potential, but one that needs more attention to detail. I'm not sure I'd recommend it.

From the first moment we contacted them to make the reservation, we sensed great professionalism, helpfulness, and attentiveness. Throughout the organization of the surprise, everyone was incredibly kind, always ready to listen to every request and enthusiastically contribute to the success of this special lunch. The location is simply spectacular: dining practically on Lake Como, with such a breathtaking view, makes everything even more magical. The service was impeccable in every way. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and always discreetly present. Special praise to the sommelier, who was truly extraordinary: knowledgeable, passionate, and capable of describing every glass with great care and involvement. A true added value to the experience. The chef also deserves special mention: in addition to the quality of the cuisine—creative, flavorful, interesting, and meticulously crafted—he proved to be a helpful and approachable person, coming through the dining room to ensure everything was perfect. A much-appreciated gesture, which speaks volumes about the passion behind this restaurant. The menu we chose (appetizer, first course, second course, surprise birthday cake, coffee, and small pastries), complemented by a delightful amuse-bouche and welcome drink, was truly enjoyable and well-crafted, as was the excellent wine pairing. The overall atmosphere was warm and festive, made even more beautiful by the helpfulness of the entire staff, with whom we also had the pleasure of chatting and taking souvenir photos. If we really want to find some small points for improvement, it's mostly to make the experience even more flawless: on a rainy day like ours, the canvas roof made the atmosphere a bit noisy, making it at times more difficult to follow the staff's explanations—which are definitely worth listening to. Furthermore, while the experience was certainly high-end, the final bill, in my opinion, was slightly high for what we consumed and compared to the average (even for Michelin-starred restaurants in the area). But that said, we're really talking about small details in a context of great overall quality. We had a wonderful time, we celebrated a significant moment in the best possible way, and we'll take home a wonderful memory. With such a team—from the kitchen, dining room, and cellar—we're confident this restaurant will continue to thrive. Stunning location. The photos speak for themselves, and they don't even do it justice. The atmosphere is refined, beautiful, and relaxing... not to mention the super friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. Eating with that view is truly satisfying, and the food is refined and delicious, as is the wine selection. It's not a cheap restaurant, but the location, the view, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food are worth every penny. I'll be back as soon as possible! P.S. Don't worry about parking. They have a small parking garage.

Mare is handled with precision, favouring balance over intensity, while Valli introduces a richer, more grounded register without heaviness. Giardino, often the most revealing test of a kitchen, is thoughtful and complete, never treated as a secondary option. Across all paths, the cooking shows discipline and judgement. Ingredients are respected, combinations are purposeful, and nothing feels decorative or excessive. The pacing of the meal is unhurried and well considered, allowing the experience to unfold naturally. Service is discreet, attentive, and calm, contributing to an atmosphere that feels more composed than orchestrated. The wine pairings are intelligent and well aligned with each menu’s character, supporting the food rather than competing with it. Acquadolce is a restaurant that knows exactly what it wants to say and says it with consistency and ease. A place is defined by structure, balance, and quiet confidence. The restaurant leaves one with a genuine sense of well-being.

Our second visit but the 1st was a group event so we came back for the views and atmosphere. This time we got to taste the food properly. It is an excellent venue, exceptional views of the lake, with discrete, professional and knowledgeable service. We shall certainly be back.
