13/01/2026: The most amazing views! Food was fantastic, service was wonderful. Very expensive but worth the memory!

10/11/2025: Amazing place! Spectacular sea views, a relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff. We had lunch just a few meters from the water with truly delicious dishes: a fresh seafood appetizer, flavorful seafood paccheri, and a light dessert with cream and strawberries that was simply heavenly. A glass of white wine, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking view... what more could you ask for? After lunch, we also enjoyed an aperitif overlooking the sea, and it was simply perfect. La Gavitella is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast in all its splendor. ❤️

09/01/2026: Truly an excellent, high-end restaurant, yet accessible to everyone. Every time I come, I try new dishes, and they all amaze me. The seasonality and quality of the dishes are this restaurant's strong points, but the setting and service are also very attentive. The cuisine is innovative and well-executed. The homemade dark chocolate offered at the end of the dinner is also very much appreciated.

16/12/2025: Dinner for two on Saturday (reservations required). Excellent food with sophisticated pairings. The staff pays close attention to guests from the moment they enter the restaurant to the moment they leave. The complimentary items are much appreciated, providing a warm welcome and farewell, even in an elegant setting. The dishes are tastefully presented. Despite the nearly central location, I had no trouble finding parking.

03/03/2026: We stayed here for two nights during a business trip. Our supplier recommended this hotel, as we weren't sure where we could book a nice place in the area. Usually, there are all apartments nearby, unless you want to travel too far. It's very convenient because it has private parking. The rooms are modern, simple, and well-furnished. It has everything you need. They also have an on-site restaurant, which is truly Michelin-starred. We were really tired the first night and couldn't wait to go to bed, so we chose the simple menu. Two courses of your choice for €30/person. But the quality was superb. And, of course, the table setting too. There are several tasting menu options, or you can simply order à la carte. But I'm sure it will all be delicious, because with such attention to the ingredients, nothing short of excellent! I loved everything, starting with the ambiance. I love the frogs in the centerpiece and the wallpaper. I'll definitely return to try more.

05/12/2025: My partner and I were passing through Grosseto and discovered this restaurant by chance. The place is small but cozy, warm, and very quaint. The owner is very kind, empathetic, and attentive to his customers. The menu is lovely, well-stocked, with several Maremma specialties. The food is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: Yesterday, Sunday, around 3:00 PM, we were looking for a place that was open to eat and we came across this beautiful restaurant. A stunning veranda overlooking the center of Marsciano, with lots of plants and flowers on the walls. The waiter, despite the hour, welcomed us kindly. He served us a platter of cold cuts, warm bruschetta, and high-quality cheeses. Handmade tagliolini with white ragù and truffle shavings were a delicacy we will never forget. To finish, a sublime tiramisu by the glass. Such kindness and friendliness! Excellent quality/price ratio. We have saved it among our favorites, we want to return soon to discover the rest of the menu!

16/03/2026: I asked for a T-bone steak and a light dish, but due to what seemed like a communication error, they gave me pasta instead. However, all the food tasted good. It was a shame I couldn't fully enjoy the pasta because I was already full. Still, it was a good experience. Recommended.

15/03/2026: The bistecca (steak) is ordered in 1.2kg portions, so I was worried whether the two of us could finish it, but the meat was so tender and delicious that we finished it in no time. If I have the chance to come to Florence again, I would definitely like to go there.

18/03/2026: A very good pizzeria near the central station. Even though it was late at night and all the other places were closed, this one was open and had good service. We ate two very well-made gnocchi in generous portions. The waiters were very helpful and attentive.

17/03/2026: I was in a hurry so I didn’t argue at the time, but I was charged more than the price listed on the menu, which is not acceptable. Also, the aglio e olio I ordered was overcooked. Considering the quality, even €8 would be the most I would expect to pay. Added: Rissoto ordered by my friend was terrible. I do recommend ordering the other stuff.

19/11/2025: We spent one night nearby in Menaggio. The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were also allowed to use the shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off to/from the hotel) free of charge. So we treated ourselves to two fantastic, different set menus, including drinks. It was a feast! There's nothing more to say – simply delicious. Right at the beginning, even before ordering, we were served fresh, warm bread straight from the oven. After dessert, we were presented with a whole bottle each of Thymicello and the house Amaro! We could drink as much as we wanted – free of charge. Seriously – where else do you find that? It's incredible. And yes, you can't drink the whole bottle – obviously, but that's not the point. The gesture and the trust shown are amazing! The service was also very friendly, efficient, and attentive, just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant! It couldn't have been better, and it didn't need to be. A definite recommendation.

30/10/2025: Passing through with friends, we enjoyed this restaurant and ordered the tasting menu, which was very generous. We had a wonderful meal; the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the view of the lake was lovely. We highly recommend it.

12/03/2026: How wonderful this small, quiet place is in a small square right by the lake. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, and cuisine featuring many local and local products. For starters, we ordered polenta medallions with pike in sauce, lasagna, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and bigoli with lake sardines. The desserts were excellent, and the bottle of Lugana from Olivini was remarkable. The atmosphere is lovely, though a little cramped inside because it's always packed.

18/10/2025: Fantastic dinner! We went to Risto-Macelleria San Marino for an evening with friends. They offered us a set menu with appetizers, two first courses, various cuts of meat, side dishes, wine, and dessert. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection! 18/10/2025: A must-try experience for meat lovers. The Maremma beef Florentine steak was delicious! We opted for the tasting option, and it was truly an excellent choice. It was all paired with Bolgheri wine, highly recommended! Next time, we'll have to try the famous Japanese beef, which isn't always available, though. Prices are in line with the products offered.

22/02/2026: A delicious honey ricotta as an appetizer. Magnificent tagliatelle alla trevana. Tasty stewed meatballs. One thing unites these dishes: their lightness. It's a pleasure to eat. Prices are from days gone by. Congratulations. I'll be back again.

The gentleman is a testament to honesty, as when I paid with 50 euros, another 50 euro note stuck to it, and he immediately took care of giving me back what belonged to me.
