14/04/2026: I stayed in this hotel for about six months due to a business trip, and I must say that I felt right at home, a very nice and comfortable hotel. The strong point, in my opinion, is the great friendliness of Beatrice and all her staff, it is a hotel that I recommend.

02/04/2026: This review is based on our personal experience, formed during our three-day, three-night stay and the wonderful conversations we had with the management and staff. It's family-run, with some employees; it's not a super-luxury chain where every problem is made up for by healthy balance sheets. The building dates back to the 1980s and underwent a major renovation a few years ago, during the Covid chaos and the subsequent obscene management of material costs. These factors influenced the final result of the immense efforts made to restore the structure's splendor. Despite these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay better than in other more charming and elegant accommodations. This is because the beds are comfortable, like those few can afford at home, with real cotton sheets and appropriately soft pillows. The spaces are good; I've found some less generous, and the bathroom, with a double-hung window, is equipped with every comfort. If anything wasn't in place, we reported it to the staff, and they fixed it immediately. The food offered is simple, but very refined in flavor and constant variety. We've rarely had a hearty meal without suffering the effects of the night. In short, we had a great time, despite the terrible weather, with the gale-force winds that raged all three days. My wife and I highly recommend it!

17/05/2026: A wonderful day in every sense of the word. We had lunch outside and had access to a truly excellent set menu. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.

17/05/2026: €14 for 2 glasses of flat prosecco, drunk standing up because at 2.20pm they were having trouble seating us since we hadn't had lunch, then they realized that they had actually finished serving and we could sit down but by then we had already drunk... shame it's one of the only 2 places in the town... Really absurd.

04/10/2025: The place is very nice and well-kept. The waitress was very kind and courteous. We ordered an Italian Florentine steak of unknown origin. And a slow-cooked suckling pig, which, honestly, didn't thrill me. Few local products (of which we have excellent ones). The price was a bit excessive for what we were offered.

11/08/2026: The iced coffees are amazing!!! The guy at the counter moves between glasses and piadinas with fascinating ease! Highly recommended!!!

08/05/2026: Excellent food and fair prices. Courteous and helpful staff, very kind and friendly. Impeccable service. I'd give it 6 stars, but it's impossible. The location is perfect for a lunch or dinner with friends, and the entrance overlooks the slope leading to the main square.

06/08/2026: We ordered a bucket of chicken, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The pieces were 80% breaded, terribly overcooked, and greasy. The chicken was as big as beans. The fries were greasy, overcooked, and terribly salty, and we even found a hair in them. Disgusting place. I was already feeling sick and was really worried about food poisoning. We had to throw the food away.

20/06/2026: A real shame: I used to enjoy frequenting this bar, but unfortunately, things have changed for the worse lately. The former professional barista is no longer there... In her place, they've hired young women who, while certainly eager and kind, unfortunately have no experience behind the counter. The result? The cappuccinos are undrinkable (boiling milk and no foam) and the wait times have gotten significantly longer. Cutting costs while sacrificing the quality of service and coffee is never a good idea. If I go to a bar, I do it for the pleasure of a good espresso or a perfectly made cappuccino. I hope the management changes its mind, because that way they'll only lose loyal customers.

07/01/2026: Here's a more fluid, balanced, and Google Maps-friendly version: ⸻ The people working at Astra were all very friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. We had a quick lunch with slices of pizza and a drink. Overall, the experience was pleasant, although in my opinion the value for money could be improved: the pizza wasn't excellent, and the final bill was a bit high for what we ate. A good option for a quick, unpretentious stop.

31/12/2025: I've been there for both breakfast and aperitivo. The pastries are good, and the coffee is excellent. Delicious pizza and excellent wine. Friendly and friendly young staff. MUST TRY!!!!
