26/05/2026: We went for dinner on a Monday and had a fries to share, followed by three pizzas. Mine was a little too thin for my taste, but still good. The dessert was good. The only problem was the small table; there were three of us, and they gave us a table for two.
16/05/2026: The meat was excellent; we ordered the Florentine menu, which included a 1.2-1.4kg Florentine steak with fillet, a generous portion of grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and radicchio, all accompanied by two glasses of red wine. Recommended for those looking for a quiet place to spend an evening with a partner, a group, or a family, with excellent value (in our case, €60 for two). The menu also includes pizza and fish, which have always received positive reviews.

23/05/2026: A surprising gastronomic experience in the village of Cartoceto. At Osteria del Cardinale, you won't find classic traditional cuisine, but something decidedly more interesting. Eva Maria's skill is masterful, her dishes are sophisticated and refined, the fruit of a creative and fresh vision. The setting is intimate and cozy. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU!!

10/05/2026: The waitress, Samantha, was wonderful. The food was okay, although the wait was longer than the time between ordering and being served. The kitchen was always working on the spot with fresh, authentic ingredients, which is fine. Overall, everyone was great. PS: The waitress, Samantha, was also nice.
19/04/2026: A stop at this restaurant is worth it. The food is delicious, and the ingredients are top-quality and locally sourced.

26/10/2025: An enchanting location, tables hidden among the ancient beams and caves beneath the structure that houses this restaurant, where local ingredients are showcased, with a focus on seasonality. The menu, including the desserts, is constantly evolving.
Tagliatella rolled thinly with a rolling pin accompanied by seasonal mushrooms, squid ink cannelloni stuffed with broccoli accompanied by crispy bacon, rabbit in porchetta accompanied by diced eggplant—the latter—all accompanied by an excellent, locally sourced Aleatico, almost zero-mile and super organic! Finally, a gelato made with olive oil from the town of Cartoceto and a traditional Moretta from Fano. €85 for a bottle of wine always makes a difference in the final bill, so be the judge!
A truly delightful experience.

27/01/2026: Beautiful location in the characteristic olive oil mill on the top of a hill with a sea view and a garden. Available to seat a table of 11, 4 children (aged 5 to 10)
and 7 adults, thrilled after visiting the Bali museum and seeing the olive oil mill machinery.
From there on, it was a disaster... no information on the cost, the quantity of food was too small.
We ordered platters for 6 again, plus another for 6, considering the children. It was also a shame that the starters were good: radicchio gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli, a bit lacking, and chicken skewers breaded with breadcrumbs, just about anything.
They didn't even offer tagliatelle, which was available at other tables... a taste of oil was out of the question.
Being in an olive oil mill... at least...
I wouldn't recommend it. A SHAME.

19/04/2026: I was in Patti for a hospital visit, and on my way out I decided to stop for lunch since I had other things to do in the afternoon anyway. I had an arancini, a cutlet with eggplant, and a coffee cream. I have to say, it was all good. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

02/07/2025: Cena favolosa ! Location incantevole! Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo! Ambiente caloroso ed intimo,si mangia nei vicoli del borgo e all’interno il locale è speciale , con le sue grotte che lo rendono unico!
Ogni piatto eseguito con grande maestria e passione per la ricerca dei prodotti del territorio! Un viaggio sensoriale di gusti e profumi che ti allietano corpo e mente!
21/06/2025: Ambiente perfetto per una serata da trascorrere in tranquilita' fuori dal caos e dagli schiamazzi della folla. Menù con pochi piatti ma con prodotti di qualità, ottima carta dei vini

27/04/2025: Che dire? Anche a cercare una cosa negativa non ci si riesce…se proprio devo dirne una, quando ci si fa la doccia l’acqua non è proprio potentissima ma è proprio il bello di vivere alcuni giorni in aperta campagna con i propri cani dove ci si rilassa in maniera divina.
Cibo speciali, gentilezza dei proprietari quasi commovente…esperienza stupenda a pochi passi dal mare ed in piena campagna. Ci tornerò d’estate quando sarà aperta la piscina perché vista ad aprile chiusa ti fa venire l’acquolina in bocca…
