23/08/2024: Spectacular is an understatement. Restaurant surrounded by greenery with ample parking. Here we still eat true Marche cuisine with abundant dishes and authentic flavors of the past. We tried Antipasto Marisa with focaccia, tagliatelle with meat sauce, ravioli with duck ragù, tagliatelle with rosemary, Marisa's fried food, and panna cotta, all divine from the appetizer to the dessert. The guy who served us was super friendly and polite. We can't wait to return. We recommend it.

29/07/2024: Without a shadow of a doubt one of the best trattorias in the province. You won't easily find a fillet or a steak with truffles (with a bed of fresh grated truffle on top!) like Marisa's. A little hidden gem in the Marche, absolutely worth trying!

28/08/2024: In this farmhouse you eat very well, I recommend the house starter where in addition to cold cuts, cheeses and various types of bruschetta, a ricotta cheese never tried elsewhere is served, even the first courses are made by them, the view is breathtaking.

17/08/2024: The pizzeria may not be convincing from the outside, but you shouldn't be fooled. The pizza is really good, with simple, light, very digestible dough. There are many variations to choose from. I would also like to point out the Vegan one among the classic reds, very tasty. Super delicious french fries. 14/08/2024: Cercherò di essere breve e conciso: io non lascio mai recensioni, se lo faccio, le lascio solo positive! Siamo in tre: i soli tavoli disponibili erano lungo il marciapiede, con le macchine che sfrecciavano, odore di gas di scarico ed un caldo che non vi dico. Zanzare come elicotteri Apache, che si rifocillavano grazie alla nostra pelle. Chiedo di andare in bagno (sono solito lavarmi le mani prima di mangiare), al che, la cameriera, “chiede addirittura il permesso al proprietario”, prima di permettermi di andarci e questo perché, per andare in bagno da loro, bisogna entrare nelle loro cucine! Comunque si, risposta del proprietario alla cameriera, con tono brusco e scocciato: “Basta che fa na cosa veloce!!” Ordiniamo tre pizze, e due porzioni “singole e misere” di fritti (un fritto di verdure e un oliva ascolana al tartufo, dove credetemi sulla parola: odore di tartufo, nemmeno in lontananza!!) Le chiedo di portarci solo mezzo litro di birra, visto che facevano 35º, così non si sarebbe scaldata mentre aspettavamo le pizze. Dopo 10 minuti si presenta con caraffa da un litro. Ne beviamo mezzo, passano 30/40 minuti, e ci porta le pizze. Le faccio notare che la birra si è scaldata, quindi se può portarci via quella e portarcene un’altra da mezzo litro fredda! Va via, e torna con la stessa caraffa ma la birra non era fredda, ed era anche meno di mezzo litro! L’unica spiegazione è che abbia tolto un po’ di birra rimasta (ce ne saranno stati ancora 0,700), e rimboccato con un pochino di birra alla spina! Tramortiti dal Caldo e dalle zanzare, mangiamo di fretta la pizza (unica cosa decente di tutta la serata, unico motivo Per cui non metto un solo pallino alla recensione!) e chiediamo il conto! 54€! Tre pizze (una margherita, una rucola e stracchino e una con radicchio gorgonzola e mele), due fritti “SINGOLI”, miseri e appena mangiabili (considerate che non è possibile ordinare antipasti in questo posto… solo 4 o 5 tipi di fritto! Nemmeno una bruschetta hanno nel Menu!) una caraffa di birra (probabilmente una Peroni, ma comunque niente di più di quella qualità!) da un litro, per la bellezza di 12 EURO! E 6 euro di coperti (coperto di cosa? Che a tavola avevamo solo le posate e una tovaglietta di carta col menù stampato?! Nemmeno il pane, NULLA!), coperti che, oltretutto, per legge devono essere scritti sul menu!! (E non c’erano!) Cosa dire… è stata l’ultima volta che ci ho messo piede, e mi sento di sconsigliare vivamente a chicchessia di farlo!

09/07/2024: We stayed in Porto Potenza Picena for a week and practically every evening we refueled at Sombrero. The variety of food is wide and it is all very good, from snails to mussels, from grilled meat to baked fish. Obviously the earlier you arrive the more choice there is. Fair prices and great service. It was also a pleasure to have a chat with the very kind owners. Top!

23/08/2024: Excellence in the Marche, excellent typical cuisine with absolutely excellent quality raw materials just as tradition dictates. We went on the occasion of our wedding anniversary, mindful of our excellent previous experiences...and this time too we were not disappointed (and I must say that I am always very critical and attentive)!!!!! Tasty dishes, well presented, honest price and well-kept environment. Impeccable and very kind service attentive to every need (maximum attention to intolerances and allergies...kindness and sensitivity...even knowing of our anniversary they set up our table with a very beautiful floral decoration)!!!...Restaurant with vaulted ceilings in stone.. adjacent to the beautiful Abbey of San Claudio (Romanesque) which is often chosen as a location for weddings because it really deserves it.... in the evening it is also very romantic!!! Tasty and non-greasy mixed fried food, excellent crepes... Excellent restaurant for taste, quality, courtesy... in short, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

01/08/2024: Finally on holiday, first restaurant tried in the area. I had doubts before I sat down because at 8.30pm no table was eating. After 20 minutes of being welcomed, we thought that the menu was finally arriving, but instead we discover that we still have to wait and that the menu in this restaurant does not exist. I'm sorry to say these things but they only happen in Italy! How can you offer a catering service without a menu! First of all I want to see what I get and how much it costs. I certainly don't want any surprises when it comes to the bill. I honestly don't think something like this is even legal. You order blindly, without knowing whether a portion is €50 or €10. The menu is explained by the owner for each table, verbally. A considerable waste of time because you don't understand what's there, what he said, the menu is repeated over and over etc etc...The excuse for the "no menu" is that it varies every day, but writing it on a blackboard it wouldn't cost anything and above all it would avoid this embarrassing little theater. Honestly, I was very tempted to leave, but unfortunately it was already too late for another choice. Orders are taken solely and exclusively by the owner, very, very, very, very calmly. The usual rosary is recited for each table. In the end you are so confused that you just want to eat and you order something, without fully understanding what is and what isn't there. Also because after more than half an hour of waiting to order you are already quite irritated. To cut a long story short, I got a first course and my husband a second course. We ONLY started eating after more than an hour of sitting down. The quality of the first one was Penny supermarket quality. Poor tortellini with acceptable mushrooms but nothing special. The second one got a 6.5 rating. Baked potatoes which were mostly burnt were also taken along with the meat. My husband wanted to have a dessert but in the end after waiting too long and after I was honestly quite irritated, we paid and left. I give the two stars only for the owner, because it was clear that he loved his job, and that he did it with passion. Despite this, he was absolutely unable to handle the situation. For the rest I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it as a place, unless you want to spend the night ordering and waiting for the food. Dishes that in my opinion are not even average. Better to stop at a sandwich shop.

21/08/2024: Sono stata ieri con la mia famiglia in questo locale incontrato per caso. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta,sia per la vasta scelta del menú che per la qualità del cibo. Servizio ottimo,personale gentile,disponibile e veloce. Oltre alla bontà, anche il prezzo é onesto. Da riprovare!

15/08/2024: Location attigua al punto vendita di pasta fresca artigianale dei proprietari da diversi lustri in pieno centro storico. Pochi posti (e questo è un punto a favore), ambiente esteticamente da migliorare (a mio personalissimo avviso) perché decisamente inferiore alla qualità dei piatti che, comunque, é il soggetto della reggente. Per farla breve: ampia scelta di piatti della cucina tipica locale convertibili anche per celiaci e ampia scelta per i vegetariani. Portate curate,buone, fresche ed abbondanti. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati con giusta cognizione. Più che buono il servizio e, cosa da non sottovalutare per coloro che non amano bere né vino né birra, possibilità di poter ordinare cocktails. Rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente positivo. Posto una foto di tortelli ripieni di coniglio in crema di zafferano ( vero; troverete gli steli nel piatto!).
