01/03/2024: One of the restaurants where you still taste the Marche. Serve with courtesy, professionalism and why not... a smile. Dishes cooked according to tradition, the gnocchi, crepes and frying recall the cuisine of the past, but prepared with modern skill. The fried cream is amazing. It is a restaurant that adapts to all occasions... for example we chose it for our children's baptisms. Truly a restaurant to take into consideration when choosing good Marche cuisine immersed in the greenery of the historicity of the San Claudio abbey. Everyone enjoy your meal.

22/03/2024: We couldn't have started our first evening in Recanati any better than this! The place is very characteristic given that it is located inside a renovated period building where brick and vaults dominate. You literally dine by candlelight and at times an extra helping of light would be desirable to read the menu and the very interesting wine list which makes the Marche offer, with a fantastic quality-price ratio, its strong point. So let's start with the first courses: I order a little guitar which on the menu was supposed to be made with prawns and poppies, but which in reality comes with various seafood of a touching freshness and an exceptional taste. Superlative dish. My partner instead had very delicate flakes with cheese and pears and lemon sauce. For my guitars I drew hands down from the basket of homemade bread for the shoe that was a must! Let's move on to the second course: I had an exquisite lamb steak, while my partner had an excellent fillet with green pepper. This restaurant makes meat an object of worship! I say this in all sincerity given that after thousands of reviews this is the second place (the first is the Pitbeef in Milan) that offers the highly prized Finnish sashi on the menu! Stuff for enthusiasts. Fantastic and unexpected. I ended with a tasting of cheeses from the Marche region which saw its strong point in pecorino, including the slow food presidium from the Sibillini mountains. Among the surprises, the final offer must certainly be mentioned: a brandy? NO!, a coffee? NO! It was a bar of dark chocolate served on a wooden cutting board equipped with a blade to be able to freely slice it at will... never seen anything like it! The evening was accompanied by an excellent 2019 Moroder Rosso Conero Notte. Truly an applause experience.

22/02/2024: We stayed in this splendid family-run country house nestled among the splendid hills of the Marche region. Everything is taken care of, clean, tidy and well-kept. At the same time, the hosts manage to ensure that everything is done without the slightest disturbance or noise The kindness and thoughtfulness of all the staff is something that is no longer found nowadays. Fabulous swimming pool, hydromassage tub, gym, sauna, Turkish bath. All topped off with a high-level restaurant both from the point of view of the cuisine both from the location and from the guys in the room who were really very good. Excellent and plentiful breakfast with fresh products. We really felt at home.

02/02/2024: It deserved 4 stars if the waiter had done his job, abandoned at the table both to order and for the wine to arrive, a shame because the location is truly very beautiful. Breathtaking panorama. Food: delicious tortelli with sausage and broccoli, excellent pistachio cream, the other diners had a cacio e pepe which seemed more like a garlic and oil. Delicious cheek, it melted in your mouth. Too bad about the service

23/03/2024: Truly exceptional evening from a food and wine point of view, there's no denying it! Let's get ourselves out of the way by saying that the area for improvement is undoubtedly the soundproofing of the venue because when it is full, as happened tonight, the acoustic disturbance is in stark contrast to the elegant and relaxing atmosphere that the venue would like to provide to its customers. . Other than that, the evening was really enjoyable. My partner and I began our journey with a veal tripe (me) with saffron served with a very tasty crunchy cheese wafer. My partner instead had some excellent black chickpeas in soup with a truly exceptional thin cuttlefish carpaccio. I then continued with their royal rabbit, i.e. stuffed with the same congilio meat, expertly flavored with various spices including fennel. My partner had an excellent Rosso Conero stew. In closing I had a plate of Macerata cured meats that was simply divine, excellent quality and abundant quantity. My partner took a Bavarian cream which was accompanied by samples of the other desserts on the menu that she had not taken. A truly welcome treat from the chef. The evening was accompanied by a very good Folle, Rosso Conero Riserva 2019 produced by La Calcinara. Very good indeed, it was the best dinner of our weekend in Recanati.

06/04/2024: The hotel in Italy “Country House La Cipolla D'oro” is located on the territory of the restaurant and in Google Maps you need to enter the restaurant in the search. Because we ordered through booking and when we clicked “how to add”, it goes to cards and gives the wrong address. The room is clean, there is a large bed, there are hygiene products in the bathroom, there is a balcony. Huge private parking. The hotel is located on the territory of a restaurant, which gave us the opportunity to eat late in the evening and not have to look for a restaurant. We were unlucky with our choice of food for dinner. The Italian meat was dry-breaded and rubbery, and tasted like fast food. And the baked eggplant with parmesan was black and burnt. We also didn’t like that when we ordered a bottle of wine, they brought it out to us already open, it was not clear where they tore it off and what was in the bottle. Usually in restaurants they open wine and take out the cork in front of customers. But there were a lot of people in the restaurant. Perhaps this is the only restaurant in the area or we were unlucky with dinner - it’s hard to say. I am writing only about our experience.

05/04/2024: We went on Easter Monday and had a great time, the restaurant was full but the service and cuisine were impeccable! The waiter who served us was kind and knowledgeable, the only negative note was the lady at the cash register.

05/04/2024: The place is youthful and complete. The service is quick and kind. The gastronomy is good and pleasant. It doesn't belong to my tastes so subjectively I found it limited. Objectively it is a place where it is possible to satisfy the desires of the palate. Spending an evening is an experience to be recommended.
