14/01/2026: Everything was very nice and well-kept, except for the bathroom, which I would have given a little more attention to!!
The dishes were delicious and original, with excellent presentation and table service. The homemade bread was excellent!! It's not exactly a cheap place, but it's pleasantly surprising. I don't have any photos; I was hungry!

13/01/2026: This is a lovely place for intimate lunch and dinners, private events, really good food and a excellent variety of quality wines and champagnes...
I love the newly renovation of the restaurant, a beautiful modern upgrade and victorian style. The staff are very helpful, friendly and observant. I love to sit in front of the fire, I could move my bed in there 😅.
I've been visiting here for many years and I feel very welcomed every time I visit, no matter if it's during the winter with snow outside or during the summer and enjoying the pool.

06/02/2026: La cipolla d'oro is an excellent guarantee, excellent service, kindness, professionalism, education, a delicate welcome that makes you feel exclusive in that moment. Eating is poetry.. a clean location.. a banquet of Sicilian desserts divine for the eyes and the palate. I asked if next time they can make the Sicilian cassata and I know for a hundred that the owner, who is otherwise very nice, said he will definitely do it.. guys, what can I say? Well done because you have everything to be successful.. passion, kindness, professionalism and attention to detail.. Veronica

A lovely location.
Delicious meat.
A wine selection fit for a connoisseur (I'm not, but the selection was truly vast).
More than reasonable; the kind that makes you leave with a smile and can't wait to return.

01/03/2026: We arrived in our campervan, looking for a pizzeria open on the waterfront. It was the only place open and with plenty of parking. How lucky we were! From the welcome to the service. The staff was courteous, professional, and never intrusive. The little dog we were with was welcomed and immediately offered a bowl of water. The pizza was delicious. Excellent dough and top-quality ingredients.
Well done.

15/03/2026: We arrived at 1:00 PM, as scheduled, and requested individual plates as everyone wanted different dishes. There were 12 adults and 4 children at 2:53 PM, and we were only served four complete appetizers. These weren't even divided, so since we were split between two tables, we had to pass the plates from one table to the other. The others still had to eat.
At 3:00 PM, the pasta arrived. We specifically requested individual plates, but a single Flemish dish for four people arrived, to be shared between two tables.
I'll start by saying that we've known the restaurant for years and always ordered takeout fish. I have to say that this was a terrible experience, and the service definitely needs improvement.

14/11/2025: A very charming location, a little inconvenient to get to, but definitely worth it. The appetizers are excellent; they should all be homemade. I found the first courses too salty and overly flavorful, in my opinion. The meat is excellent, especially the suckling pig, which is definitely worth trying.

11/03/2026: We arrived at 1:00 PM, and at 4:00 PM we were still at the table. The waiter brought us the cake, saying he'd forgotten to order the main course.
The portions were generous, but the quality left much to be desired. The bill was steep.
17/02/2026: The place is very clean and well-maintained. Lunch here was truly a wonderful experience!
We had reserved by phone upon arrival; there were seats available on the ground floor, but we would have preferred the first floor for the view. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, seating us upstairs without any problems.
The view from the first floor is wonderful and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The seafood was incredibly fresh and of excellent quality!!
Excellent lunch, a truly positive experience💫

24/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant, furnished in solid wood, in the style of an old tavern. The artistic ornaments on the walls give it a fairy-tale atmosphere. The bathroom is clean. The food is very good, and there are some very unusual local dishes, such as the very tasty tagliatelle with ragù alla Matelicese. Good wines. Good prices. Friendly staff and owners.

The refined atmosphere offers a wealth of customer service. Attentive and refined service. The cuisine has a lovely personality.
If you're in the mood for a first course, you absolutely must try the gnocchi, which have a spectacular smoked finish.

Management focuses on quality over quantity, with limited seating and no overly eccentric offerings.
The owner and staff are helpful and ready to please.
The food does justice to the price and your expectations.

24/02/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant to all French people passing through. Stop by! The food is top-notch, the welcome is very warm, and the atmosphere is authentically Italian. Don't miss it!
