16/10/2025: The aperitif was just adequate in terms of quality and variety. The Aglianico wine was excellent. Good service and a great location on the Piazza.

15/11/2025: A historic Caldé venue, well-run and offering a wide selection of excellent wines. A fabulous place to enjoy a sunset aperitif with friends.

09/10/2025: Excellent food. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. We were so happy to get something to eat around 3 p.m. after a hike; otherwise, almost all restaurants are closed until 6 p.m. A passionate bistro owner.

26/10/2025: Visited a pizza and kebab place in Mozzate and really enjoyed it. The pizzas and kebabs were freshly made and tasted great. It wasn’t too busy when we ordered, so the service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable too. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

08/06/2025: Guadagna il podio del locale più piccolo con merito offrendo un’atmosfera comunque molto accogliente. Arriva l’idea, la passione e la cura dei dettagli sia in sala che in cucina. I ragazzi sono giovani e questo lascia ben sperare per il nostro paese , avanti così, siete sulla strada giusta. Il cibo è preparato con cura, le materie prime sono buone, paga solo a mio avviso un po’ di inesperienza nelle preparazioni considerando il costo delle portate. Ad esempio, le acciughe del Cantabrico vengono servite con troppa mousse di burro, risultando essere troppo grasse e stanchevoli. Agnello scottadito molto buono, purtroppo tiepido, non “scottadito”. Una buona scelta dei vini, a vista con prezzi esposti, sia al calice che in bottiglia. Un buon locale, con un bel margine di miglioramento.

06/04/2025: Che bel posto, cucina molto curata grazie ad un menù ben calibrato per il locale, scelta vini così vasta da farmi sentire inadeguato , personale gentile e attivissimo in una serata di rilevante affluenza. Veramente “una bella scoperta “

29/09/2025: I went to a birthday party last night, and despite the arrangements made with the owner, the service was truly terrible: a measly plate of squares... ini... ini... focaccia for so many people, and a watered-down cocktail. The price paid by the birthday boy didn't match expectations. I wouldn't recommend it for a birthday party. Ample parking... if you can find one... After a lot of driving around, I put the car in the parking lot.

10/11/2025: The place your Instagram feed says thank you for brunch... A bit undersized. Wake up early, since we've booked the second round. Get dressed comfy, and off to Sunday brunch at Giulietta al Lago. The location is pure magic, the lake whispers "relax" to you, and you respond with an enthusiastic "yes, this isn't a place, but a mood!" As soon as you arrive, the view of the lake hits you so hard that you think, "Okay, this is my new rich life I didn't know I had." But upon entering... The design is nice and modern, the atmosphere is casual but a bit anonymous. Be careful with the restrooms. The fixed price of €20 is all a real winner. The buffet is plentiful (savory pie, cold cuts, fried gnocchi, desserts...), but here comes the "constructive criticism" side. Despite the quantity, the variety of the main dishes tends to remain consistent. Savory: The cold cuts and cheeses are excellent (even though I'm vegetarian), along with yogurt and fruit salad, savory pies, frittatas, and fried vegetables, but there's only one savory pie. The lack of "hot" dishes (like the legendary baked beans, hash browns, or eggs Benedict, scrambled in a pan) makes the experience repetitive if you go back several times. Sweet: The cakes, mini tiramisu, and cheesecakes are good, but the classic pancakes, muffins, waffles, and croissants, which are the true heart of a brunch that aims to take things to the next level, are missing. The drinks—filtered coffee and juice—are complex, but no milk, whether plant-based or otherwise? That's a flaw. The suggestion for improvement is clear: Adding 2-3 signature dishes cooked to order (even for a small surcharge) would enrich the offering and dispel the impression of limited variety. Brunch Verdict: 3/5. The location deserves a 5+, but with a few small adjustments, it could become the best brunch in the Varese area.

02/11/2025: What can I say? In one word: exceptional!!! A bright atmosphere with a large window and a view of the lake. The brunch idea is excellent, with excellent, high-quality products, both savory and sweet. The staff is very professional with a touch of friendliness that makes you feel at home. The prices are average and commensurate with the service received. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, without hesitation.

29/11/2025: I've never eaten so badly in my life. It was a pizzeria/restaurant, and there was no sign of pizza. The pizzaiolo probably couldn't be bothered. But after that meal, even a pizza probably wouldn't have been any better than the meal that was slapped on our table. We had frozen fries. The pasta was most likely microwaved. We ordered two chicken breasts and received one for two people. The waiter said there weren't any more, only one. A disaster; we would have been better off staying hungry. First and last time there... What a waste of money.

17/10/2025: Wonderful experience, the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. We tried the pizza tour, which we'll definitely be repeating. Delicious pizza.

30/09/2025: We ordered a tray of pastries, and besides the price, which seemed disproportionate to me (we ordered less than a kilo of pastries and it cost more than the advertised price per kilo), the quality was nothing like other pastry shops in the valley. They were certainly aesthetically pleasing, but inedible.

24/09/2025: I got a takeout box, ate it 5 minutes after it was prepared, the meat was cold, literally four pieces in a sea of ​​vegetables, and all for €6. The guy also seemed annoyed, it was only 9:30 pm. If I were the owner, I'd choose people who know how to work and who are willing to work.

10/08/2025: And the kebab is the best you can find around Besozzo, unfortunately they have aligned themselves with the prices of the city center and a sandwich becomes quite expensive at that point perhaps it is better to focus on a well-made pizza.

09/07/2025: Good evening, today I went to FU LAI RAMEN, formerly Itoya, now FU LAI RAMEN. It was very nice. The staff was very friendly, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend it.
