16/06/2026: Cappuccino, top marks!!! Friendly and helpful staff. 100% clean.
You might not immediately get the impression of professionalism when you walk in, but I assure you, the cappuccino far surpasses those of many bars in the center of Chiavenna! Bravo, Susanna and Angelica!

08/03/2026: Found by chance, but what a satisfaction! A seemingly simple menu, but only on the surface... cooked with the respect that the raw ingredients used deserve (which are truly excellent quality), and truly generous portions.
All topped off with attentive, yet unobtrusive service (each dish and accompaniment was well explained).
Especially noteworthy is the "bread basket," which isn't just a basket, but is packed with a variety of homemade offerings! Definitely worth trying again on a future vacation.

27/10/2025: I tried the restaurant and was very satisfied. The meat dishes are truly well prepared, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the kitchen staff. The wait staff is excellent. The prices aren't cheap, but they're reasonable for the quality. Outdoor parking is available.
26/10/2025: Family lunch, a large platter with excellent cheese and cured meat selections, sciatt, taroz, braised donkey, and arrosticini! Pizzoccheri and homemade cake! Everything was delicious! Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. We'll be happy to return.

19/04/2026: We went to this osteria on the recommendation of a friend for the good value. The location is worth it, a nice place with a view. The food: so-so, pizzoccheri. I've found better elsewhere. Good service, but the problem is the bill: €120 for three... €40 each for 3 appetizers and 2 pizzoccheri, 1/2 liter of house wine and sparkling water, 1 tiramisu, 2 coffees, and 1 braulio. I won't be back, and I don't recommend it to anyone. Sorry.

18/07/2026: I ordered a slice of pizza, a panzerotto, and a few slices of focaccia: we didn't like them very much. The service is friendly, and a plus is that they can heat up the pizza slices. We've only been once, but we had to wait in line; I don't know if that's always the case.

23/11/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, clean and sufficiently courteous.... A bit expensive... The only downside: I bought a box of "quality" cookies.
It's a shame that once I opened them, they were overcooked, almost burnt. If I'd seen the inside of the box, I wouldn't have bought it!
A word of advice: if a batch of cookies like this were on display, no one would buy them. So why sell them only to get bad reviews?
01/11/2025: At first, it was a bit difficult for a group of 30 tourists to figure out how to order. But once I paid, I got my food quickly. Good value for money. Very tasty cappuccino and margarita pizza. The ham and cheese roll was a disappointment.

24/07/2026: Barbasch is my favorite restaurant in Aprica! The schiatt and the tagliata alla Robespierre are delicious!
17/07/2026: We decided to test out the new management of this restaurant, and we weren't very happy with it. We ordered:
* a caper tartare - it arrived without garnishes (we noticed because a table next to us with the same order received a dish garnished with caper flowers)
* pasta alla matriciana - a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms arrived. Obviously, mistakes can happen, but it's good manners to not take the dish and bring it back to the person who ordered it after it's been sitting around for at least 10 minutes, getting cold. The matriciana then arrived, unfortunately overcooked.
* tiramisu - it arrived without a dusting of cocoa powder.
The experience wasn't the best. I don't think I'll return, nor recommend it.
