24/01/2026: We went there for an aperitivo, as we were already familiar with the bar from before. Previously, they always offered a small complimentary snack with the drinks. This time, unfortunately, there weren't even any chips or nuts.
The service was also underwhelming; we weren't served promptly. Overall, a disappointing experience: high prices, but significantly reduced service. A shame.
08/01/2026: Excellent food and good quality ingredients. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had lunch without any special requests, and I'd love to return for dinner. Recommended.

23/11/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, clean and sufficiently courteous.... A bit expensive... The only downside: I bought a box of "quality" cookies.
It's a shame that once I opened them, they were overcooked, almost burnt. If I'd seen the inside of the box, I wouldn't have bought it!
A word of advice: if a batch of cookies like this were on display, no one would buy them. So why sell them only to get bad reviews?
01/11/2025: At first, it was a bit difficult for a group of 30 tourists to figure out how to order. But once I paid, I got my food quickly. Good value for money. Very tasty cappuccino and margarita pizza. The ham and cheese roll was a disappointment.

30/03/2026: We were a group of six out for dinner last night. The bill came to €160. Generally speaking, Livigno, with a few exceptions, isn't a place for people who come here for the food.
But I've never eaten so badly. The roast beef arrived cold. It was sent back to be reheated, but it didn't come back any warmer. Not only was it cold, but the way it was prepared was awful. I've never had such a bad meal anywhere in the world. The service was also extremely unprofessional. For me, this is by far the worst restaurant in Livigno. I can't recommend anyone eat here. Birrifivio 1816. Simply terrible!!!

05/04/2026: Pizzoccheri were completely tasteless and unseasoned. After I pointed this out, the chef's reaction was unacceptable: he became upset and started yelling in front of other customers. This was unprofessional behavior, and it also left an unpleasant impression of hostility toward foreign customers. A decidedly negative experience.

The server was unable to carry out the order she had taken.
We ordered a panino, aqua, and coffee.
The panino was a distorted burger with a ready-made chicken breast and a slice of Aldi cheese on top.
He managed the aqua.
He forgot the coffee. (Too busy with the regular customers.)
And to top it all off, this "meal" cost €17.50.
We expressly warn against this place.

02/04/2026: We celebrated a graduation from nearby Unimont. It's a very welcoming place, in a historic square in Edolo, with a beautiful little church opposite.
28/02/2026: Family-run restaurant, everyone is very friendly. I had a fantastic Robespierre steak, which I highly recommend. Great experience.

20/08/2025: We stopped by in the morning to inquire about the menu and possibly make a reservation. We were told that reservations weren't necessary, but then, at lunchtime, we were told there were no seats available. Please train your staff better on the rules of hospitality.
10/08/2025: My parents were celebrating their anniversary with some relatives, pre-ordering some dishes. Aside from the owner's extremely rude attitude, they were served food that looked leftover and reheated, in completely inadequate portions. The unclear receipt read "6 restaurant portions," making it a non-transparent and difficult to verify receipt.
When asked for an explanation, no one responded.

17/08/2025: Nice place to grab a drink. On busy days, the service isn't great. With almost all the tables full, the service was nonexistent; we found a table by ourselves, went to the bar to get drinks, and the table we were sitting at wasn't cleaned.
13/08/2025: Returned after about 3 years for a family breakfast. Much improved. Congratulations!
