You're immediately greeted with courtesy and elegance, right up to the restaurant entrance where I'll wait for you to put away your jacket or coat. Then you're escorted to your table, and from there the lust begins. Knowing what's cooking is fantastic, with fantastic pairings and exquisite ingredients. I assure you that with just two simple things to start the aperitif (mortadella and schiacciata), you'll already be in raptures. 20/01/2026: On Sunday, I organized lunch for the class of 1997 at this magnificent restaurant. They are very professional and kind and make you feel at home, even accommodating those with celiac disease, for example. The appetizers were perfect, the risotto was cooked to a degree you can't find even in the best Michelin-starred restaurants, and the steak was exceptional. The wines were perfect, and above all, the entire staff was incredibly professional. They met all my expectations in every way. A lunch that was nothing short of perfect, with excellent prices. I highly recommend trying their specialties; they make you feel at home. ☺️

19/10/2025: Gourmet lunch at a trattoria price We tried the duck tortelli (with sesame seeds and soy sauce) and the short rib tortelli. Both were exceptional; the second courses were more delicate, while the first courses had a bold flavor, but this unusual combination was definitely a perfect match. The second course was duck with fennel and orange, tender and flavorful. We finished with a delicious tiramisu, fresh and consistent, I think. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: A first-rate New Year's Eve dinner! We tried this restaurant for the first time for New Year's Eve dinner and were truly delighted. The location is intimate, warm, and welcoming. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. The food is high-quality, delicious to say the least (especially the pumpkin tortelli) with generous portions. Furthermore, we were always served very quickly. Highly recommended!

30/12/2025: I was there last night to celebrate a special occasion. I finally got to try the vegetarian menu, which, as in my case, is vegan and can be veganized without any problems or prior notice. You can choose individually, without obligation, for the entire table. All I can say is delicious. I really appreciated the cashew cheese substitute. The roast mushrooms were meaty and delicious, and the dessert was moist and delicious. The tasting menu costs €60, but you won't leave hungry; I was very full. A Michelin-starred restaurant that lived up to expectations. It's nice to have vegan options. Even my omnivorous companion was thrilled with both my vegan menu and his meat-based dishes. We'll definitely be back ♥️

11/01/2026: Absolutely the best fish I've ever eaten. I can say without hesitation that, to date, it's the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to. I had a raw appetizer and a cooked appetizer: it's unusual to order two appetizers, but I was really unsure which one to choose, so I ended up ordering both. The result? I left feeling really full, as if I'd eaten many more dishes, and the quality was top notch. The price, by the way, was absolutely fair, not at all excessive for what they offer. I couldn't find a single flaw: impeccable service, attentive and friendly staff, a very nice, welcoming place with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I can't wait to return, and even though it's quite far from my home, I'd gladly travel all those miles again just to eat their fish again. It's definitely worth it. Reservations are highly recommended.

07/01/2026: I go there every time I pass by for work. It's now a regular stop for me, I feel like I'm part of the family. The staff are truly fantastic: kind, competent, and just the right amount of friendly. As for the food, well, what can I say? Fantastic. Every time, new offerings on top of the menu, always respecting the local Mantuan tradition. The quality is always excellent. 28/12/2025: Our first experience at Osteria Number 2 (we're a couple) was extremely pleasant. It happened by chance on their fridge-clearing day during their holiday closure (December 28, 2025). We were fortunate enough to attend a fantastic live music event accompanied by a surprise menu full of specialties and fabulous dishes. What struck us most, besides the abundance of good food, was the team's passion and dedication in offering a pleasant and entertaining experience. It wasn't just a simple lunch, but a true opportunity for fun and conviviality. We'll definitely be back in the future because it's worth it!

The food was delicious, and the stay was pleasant. We had an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back, especially to try the guinea fowl tortelloni with aromatic herbs.
