Al Torchio BIGOLERIA In Mantova

The food was wonderful, although we ordered the wrong thing on the menu. Both the pasta and the salami and cheese were excellent. We recommend that foreigners translate the menu, or at least some parts of it, even if it's in English, to avoid confusion. Otherwise, everything was great.

Very friendly service; they even helped when they realized we'd misunderstood something during the translation. Even our youngest described it as delicious and enjoyable. 😊

The bigoli are excellent, with generous portions. The tiramisu is also worth it. Given the wide selection of toppings, it's a must to return several times to try new ones. €20 for bigoli, a glass of wine, water, dessert, and coffee. I don't know where else you can find the same quality/price ratio. Highly recommended, I'll be back.

Great discovery!! The bigoli were delicious. We had a classic carbonara and a Mantovana carbonara with pumpkin...both were fantastic! The atmosphere was really nice, the staff were friendly, and the quality/price ratio was unbeatable.

What a shame... It's a shame I was there alone and couldn't try more, because the ones I had (tomato and ricotta) were exceptional, and I could see the dishes (and faces) at the tables next to mine. Extremely fast and courteous service. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back if I pass through Mantua!

Bigoli with salsiccia ⭐️⭐️ Bigoli carbonara ⭐️⭐️ Two of us visited for dinner and ordered two different pasta dishes, but unfortunately, we could barely tell them apart in terms of flavor. While the service was impressively fast, the similarity between the dishes left us wondering whether the food was simply pre-prepared and quickly assembled. Service ⭐️⭐️ When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, just two other couples were there, yet we were seated at the smallest table, positioned right next to the entrance of the dining room. This meant my back was constantly in the way of staff and guests walking through, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. We may have misunderstood the concept of the place. If it’s intended as a quick in-and-out spot where the focus isn’t really on savoring the food or the ambiance, then it works, though even then, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered.

Four of us had lunch at Bigoleria today after being tempted by the reviews, and I have to say we weren't disappointed. Although our first impression wasn't the best (I'm talking about the location and the exterior), once inside, our opinion quickly changed. The owners were welcoming, and the dishes were truly delicious (each course had a sauce that was well-defined in flavor yet truly balanced), not to mention the desserts... chocolate salami and a truly excellent tiramisu. The place is small but tidy and clean, and the prices are fair, making it definitely worth considering. Thank you.

A restaurant where you can eat bigoli with a variety of toppings. The 200g portions are ours. We had the ones with beef ragù and the ones with tomato and ricotta sauce. Delicious! Fast service, friendly staff.
