The atmosphere is small but very cute and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly, from the girl serving at the counter to the owner. The food is very good, with generous portions and excellent value. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon. Reservations are recommended as it's always busy. Takeout is also available. M. Colombo

Everything is truly delicious at a very fair price. It's like being at grandma's for Sunday lunch, with refills until you're in the carbocoma. Quality food and authentic dishes prepared by them in a homey, comfortable setting. The desserts are also excellent. A must-try in Mantua.

First time... and it definitely won't be the last. I've never met the owner before but he's very friendly, his colleague is kind and helpful... all in all, a pleasant surprise. Excellent quality food... well done.

Arriving in Mantua from Milan, the first stop on the tour was Paolo's shop. The cashier and owner were both kind and empathetic; it was a pleasure to stop for lunch. The first course was excellent! And the buffet was varied and fresh! Everything was excellent!! Thank you for the wonderful experience and your kindness! I will definitely return if I ever find myself in Mantua again.

Perfect, slightly different option for lunch. Pasta followed by whatever you want from the 'buffet', served to you. Beautiful food, very good and unfussy service. Brilliant.

Fantastic place just steps from the center of Mantua, in front of the Bibiena Theater. The €13 menu includes a choice of first course and an unlimited buffet of appetizers and main courses. Drinks and desserts are not included. Many vegetarian and gluten-free options. Friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommended!

12/07/2026: Very good pizza in my opinion, but the service could be improved due to the wait times and in some situations. The interior has only one air conditioner, so it's practically useless if it's very hot or humid like last night.

07/05/2026: I only went for lunch, large restaurant, very large parking lot in front, excellent service and last but not least very good and carefully prepared dishes.
