01/03/2026: A truly pleasant lunch at a refuge at about 1,900 meters above sea level, in a panoramic location offering a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It can be reached with a pleasant hike, ideal for those who love hiking, or comfortably by chairlift for just €6, a truly affordable price. The atmosphere is typical of a mountain refuge: rustic, welcoming, and authentic. Crowding is normal, although obviously it depends greatly on the time of year and the season. We ate really well. The pizzoccheri were very good, flavorful, and well-seasoned, a traditional dish prepared as it should be. The single dish of polenta, mushrooms, salami, and cheese was also excellent: plentiful and perfect after a hike. The canederli were a pleasant surprise, super tasty and soft. The venison steak with polenta was also very good, the meat tender and well-cooked. A special mention goes to the French fries, truly luxurious, crispy, and perfectly cooked. We washed it all down with beers and coffees. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, always available despite the bustle. We spent €36 each for three people: considering the quality, quantity, and location at 1900 meters, I'd say it's excellent value for money.

27/02/2026: I can't judge the restaurant upstairs because I haven't tried it, but the restaurant-bar downstairs is absolutely to be avoided. The cutlet was fried in an indecipherable oil that tasted stale, the vegetables were burnt instead of gratinated, and the service staff were quite rude. If you need to stop for a quick lunch, go elsewhere. The only thing worth it is the view of the lake.

The food gets top marks, with flavorful local dishes and high-quality ingredients. The desserts are delicious and delicious, and the quality is artisanal. The wine list is extensive and interesting, with a good selection of grappas, although the blend could be improved. The same goes for the service, which, given the very high number of customers and the relatively young age, certainly overextended, but with some small shortcomings. The final price is in line with expectations. I will definitely return to confirm this opinion.

01/12/2025: Fantastic culinary journey 🤩 As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile (I often emphasize hospitality), and were escorted upstairs—what a lovely surprise 😃 Exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, a rectangular mirror on the wall creating greater depth to the room, and thoughtfully designed furnishings with great style creating a warm atmosphere. As soon as we were seated, we were welcomed with high-quality mortadella and soft bread. Let's move on to the menu, not overly extensive but concise and refined. A wonderful selection of wines, for all budgets (bottle or glass) 😃 We started with two appetizers "designed for sharing": fried polenta and Parmesan meatballs "a delight." Let's move on to the main courses: 1 beef cheek in red wine and 1 seared belly with salsa verde "a delight." Let's move on to desserts 😃 We ordered tiramisu, and off-menu, they offered us the classic panettone "with candied fruit," and with Chantilly cream "a delight." They added that the panettone's strong point was the perfectly executed dough. Many thanks 🤗 to Camilla and Elisa, who were excellent, from the welcome to the explanation of the dishes and wines... 05/07/2025: Very clean environment, friendly staff and quiet outdoor seating. We took 2 Panino Kebab menus (sandwich, chips and drink) spending 18 euros, the bread was nice and crunchy and the quantity of meat was abundant, the chips were nice and crunchy and salty and the tables were nice and clean. We will definitely come back to eat there and compliments to the owner and staff. 👍

It's a very popular alternative these days and would be greatly appreciated. It's a shame, because it severely limits the choice for those with this need.

18/10/2025: The first two times we came here we ate well, today Saturday they made a pizza that was not good, practically raw, the table we had reserved was given to someone else and the person who served us was not very kind. The only thing they did was not charge us for my pizza. So I didn't ask for ice but my husband did. I asked for the ice afterwards because if the Coke is not exactly cold I only know when I taste it. The first two times we came we had a really good time, today not even for the service.

07/01/2026: I stayed at this property with a large group of associates a few days ago. It's a hotel/restaurant that has been family-run for generations. In fact, it's one of the "historic" establishments in the Lombardy region. Adequate infrastructure. The practical, culinary, and human service is EXCEPTIONAL. 6-star CONGRATULATIONS to William and his entire family.
