20/04/2025: I'd been to this place under the previous management, and it wasn't bad. I decided to try the new management for Easter lunch, and the experience was terrible. Everything was seriously lacking, from the terrible service (interminable waits, except for one table that apparently had inexplicably preferential service) to the shameful food quality. It was as if the new management had just moved into the kitchen the day before yesterday. The place is still old and poorly maintained. Absolutely avoid.

30/11/2025: Suffice it to say that during the low season I paid a whopping €2.30 for a 0.5L bottle of water!! Naturally, this was paid along with the coffees we had, which were served without a single receipt. It's a tourist trap for those just off the ferry; I recommend walking past.

20/08/2025: The waitress didn't ask everyone at the table for their orders. We ordered a San Bitter, and the bottom of the glass arrived with two chips. We paid €5, as if it were an alcoholic Aperol.

05/12/2025: Very unpleasant, I wouldn't return. We came for dinner and after finishing our pizza we found a fingernail in one of the pizza plates (photo attached). I wouldn't recommend this place at all; it's disgusting.

05/12/2025: The price-performance ratio is completely off. A measly Greek salad for €18. I understand that you pay a bit more for this location, but then the quality should match. The waiters just rush you through. The pizza was fine, though.

06/08/2025: I bought three packaged ice creams and two small bottles, totaling €18. When I asked for a receipt, I was told that since I had made a contactless payment with my phone, it couldn't be issued. When I asked about the prices, the response was "I paid €3 for everything," but paying €3 for an ice cream or a small bottle is already crazy. Furthermore, since I had bought five items, the total should have been €15, not €18.

11/07/2025: Well-stocked tobacco shop and café with excellent coffee! You can also grab a quick aperitif! :) Very fair prices. The owner is always kind and helpful!

11/09/2025: overcooked spaghetti, small portions, some flour instead of parmesan, French fries made from defrosted semi-finished products, piña colada without ice and decorations. There were four of us, we all ordered different dishes and the only thing that tasted good was grilled vegetables. For the same money you can find a better restaurant and enjoy real Italian cuisine. Their only big plus is the location and fast service.

06/09/2025: I would say that my experience is not positive...in fact disappointing at best...I asked for 1 courgette brie and there wasn't any...ok I can understand...but asking for 1 mushroom p and a pizza like that arrives no way...there was no mushroom p...it really had nothing to throw away

23/11/2025: I bought 8 pastries for €16: absurd! 😖 Here, a single number of pastries costs €2 each. Avoid this place; it's old and has very little selection. Not recommended.

22/11/2025: €12 for 6 cannoli in a paper bag, not even on a tray like a pastry shop should serve them. €6 for a juice, €5 for a croissant, and €2.50 for a cappuccino. ARE YOU JOKING?!?! Too bad my partner went with my son, otherwise I would have definitely thrown the cannoli at you! But I see from the latest reviews that I'm not the only one who thinks this way... Shame on you!!

05/08/2025: This ice cream shop is located in a busy shopping center: the gelato is good, but nothing extraordinary. Don't expect the typical artisanal gelato service: here you serve yourself, and if you're not careful about the amount you order, you'll be in trouble at the cashier. I spent almost 18 euros for two takeout cups, eaten standing up. Honestly, too much, especially considering that at real artisanal gelato shops, with tradition and high-quality ingredients, I spend less and even get table service. Another aspect that left me perplexed is the approach to reviews. It's not that if you write a review you'll be ignored: they respond in a defensive manner, even if you leave 3 or 2 stars in a polite tone. The answer is always the same: that their gelato is made with quality milk, cream, and baby food, so if you didn't like it, the problem is either you or your tastes. Basically, if you give them 3 stars, it almost seems like you've insulted them. And meanwhile, you read rave reviews based on phrases like "the guy was adorable, sweet, and helpful," which sound more like they're reviewing an audition for "Men and Women" than an ice cream. Overall? ✔️ Decent ice cream ❌ Overpriced ❌ Self-rating a bit exaggerated ❌ Angry reactions to those who don't leave 5 stars There's better, even in the city—and not just since yesterday.

04/09/2025: Terrible service, it took them over 20 minutes to place two orders. Plus, this is the state of the sandwich, which was also cold. Speechless.

19/09/2025: On top of waiting 25 minutes despite calling ahead, four poorly made pizzas—half raw, half burned! The next day we felt sick! Never again!

19/10/2025: We had a snack at this bar on a Sunday afternoon. We weren't sure if the Amalfi and the Papillon were the same thing because we were sitting at the Amalfi and the man told us to sit at the tables at the top of the sun, which were still his (but in front of the Papillon). Even when we ordered, we had seen the sfogliatelle and pasticciotti in the window, and the lady told us they were at the Amalfi but that she would go get them, so who knows. The order was taken fairly quickly, but the wait was long, and the coffee arrived plain instead of macchiato, even though the lady had asked during the order if it was macchiato.

06/10/2025: The rudeness is typical here, it seems like they pay for your drinks, not to mention the prices, I also add that the bathrooms are not clean.

28/10/2025: I ate Alpine piadina which wasn't bad but the amount of filling was too small and the speck was of such poor quality that I couldn't chew it.

18/10/2025: The nice thing is the location, for the rest.... spaghetti with clams overcooked and tasteless, you can only taste the garlic, mixed fried fish to avoid. Bottle of water 0.75 euros 4.50 cover charge 2.90 euros.....everything seems excessive to me.

11/10/2025: Intrigued by the convenience of parking our e-bikes, we stopped for lunch. Poor food (piadina was so burnt I've never seen it!) + pasta + water for a whopping €38.50. Long, well-stretched strides!
