25/06/2025: This time we stopped for a "quick" lunch. It was 1 pm and we had other appointments. We had not booked but in a short time, Pietro was an excellent restaurateur. We had a great lunch with pasta with radicchio, scaloppine in white wine, vegetables, chips and a glass of red wine in a cool environment. Everything perfect. Compliments.

14/05/2025: It's a nice place...a little dated (80s) but clean. Family run. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

18/12/2024: Been today to play padel. Indecent field. Presumably third-hand lighting, discarded from some public warehouse abandoned years ago. Grills straight from the roaring 90s, probably a used pitch was purchased from South America. The side glass does not match the grid above but protrudes, giving fantastic effects to the balls that come close to it. But the best is to describe it as covered, when it is an outdoor field that has been thrown over a plastic sheet. A shame, especially given that next door there are tennis courts in heated "balls". Rather than go back to it, I play it on PlayStation

29/06/2025: We spent a night in a tent on this quiet campsite. The lady at the reception was so kind and sweet. She made us feel at home. Equipped with all the comforts I recommend any camper to spend time here.

25/06/2025: We have been here for 10 days, with our camper, in 2 days we will leave reluctantly... we had a great time, very well organized campsite, at 1150 meters, you can rest very well in the peace and silence at the foot of the Presolana.. 26/06/2025: You are in the upper city and the place inside is very nice, clean and well-kept. The girl who served us was nice, kind and professional. The menu formula at 18 euros (+2.50), compared to the prices of the upper city, proves to be an almost economical solution. On the menu you will have a first course, a second course and a side dish. With my wife we ​​had 2 portions of casoncei, a veal with tuna sauce, a rabbit Bergamo style and baked potatoes. I read a review that said that the portions were small and the dishes were salty. I think that a dozen or so casoncei, stuffed pasta, is more than right, in fact I would call it a nice portion and they were certainly not salty. Good taste, fat as the aforementioned sauce should be, which fills the mouth with flavor. The rabbit is also very good, both to chew, rightly tough, and for flavor, very rich. Perhaps the only flaw is the potatoes that although pleasant, were rather boiled than the typical baked ones.

19/07/2025: A little gem along Via Nazionale. A welcoming place, the owner is very kind and cheerful. The gelato is delicious, and the aperitivo is elegant! It's also recommended for a lunch break: the piadinas are excellent. Also excellent for breakfast!

20/04/2025: Easter lunch.... Classic lunch with fixed menu, good material but strange combinations, I certainly wouldn't suggest crepes with asparagus and calamari. The structure is dated and when it's full the noise is annoying at times.

30/06/2025: I go to Giovanni Rana quite often, I decide to go during the week and take my usual "straw and hay with salmon" complete menu with water and dessert. I take the blueberry cheesecake, as always, trying it was literally disgusting it tasted like burnt plastic. I pointed it out twice in the end calling the manager they replaced it with the fruit salad, after a few minutes. Here I was clearly right. They could have offered me coffee and instead they didn't seem that sorry. I don't know if I'll return.

16/03/2025: Raw tortellini with cream, ham and tasty peas. Saffron tagliatelle, speck and mushrooms good, but overly seasoned. The courteous and attentive lady explained to us the convenience of the menu. He immediately suggested microwave or pan frying, when I said they were lukewarm.

09/03/2025: Pizza with wholemeal dough....Excellent!! Friendly and pleasant staff.
