27/06/2026: The place is aesthetically pleasing. The black wallpaper, soft lighting, and furnishings create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
I'd like to start, however, with a truly positive aspect. As I was leaving, one of the staff members, seeing me with a crutch, opened the door with a courtesy and kindness that are not at all taken for granted these days. It was a simple gesture, but truly much appreciated.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was rather disappointing.
The waiter who served us, a young man in his twenties or thirties, greeted us formally. Personally, I found this approach rather out of place in a lounge bar at 11 pm. It's nothing serious, but it does contribute to a somewhat stuffy atmosphere.
The least pleasant aspect, however, was the sound. The music wasn't disco music: it was simply dance music, completely out of place for the type of place. All the customers were sitting at tables chatting, no one was dancing, and the bar was practically empty. The problem wasn't so much the volume itself, but the acoustics of the place, which amplified everything and made it difficult to talk without constantly raising your voice. A shame, because a lounge bar should encourage conversation, not hinder it. I was with a very famous guitarist, and this was precisely the first thing we noticed.
To make matters worse, there was a dog sitting at the table next to ours who barked repeatedly for most of our time. He was about a meter away from us. I think that, out of respect for other customers, in situations like this, the staff should politely intervene and ask the owners to take him outside for a moment. It was honestly very annoying.
The service didn't convince me either. The place was practically half empty: I don't think there were more than ten people inside. We didn't even have time to put our cocktails on the table before we were asked to pay, with a rather stiff and unwelcoming attitude. No small accompaniments were offered to the drink, not even a simple olive or some salty snack. It's not a must, of course, but in a venue that aims to convey a certain level of quality, these details make all the difference.
My non-alcoholic cocktail was good, although definitely too much ice.
In conclusion, a very aesthetically pleasing venue, with a final gesture of great courtesy from a staff member, but an overall experience that didn't convince me. I'm sure this style might appeal to other customers; it's simply not the kind of place I'd choose to return to.
12/05/2026: I went here for a pre-dinner aperitif! Very nice, well-maintained place. The staff was very kind, even when it came to dealing with customers when the requested product wasn't available because it was out of stock. It happens...you have to deal with it properly, as they did! Well done!
