04/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place attracted by the fact that they did Latin American food, once we entered the very small place, we ordered and they didn't have most of the things on the menu, the staff wasn't friendly at all and the food wasn't of great quality...

03/03/2026: The atmosphere is always very well-kept, beautiful, and refined. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. I had a Moroccan chocolate cake, asking for a little chocolate topping to try, since they don't make Nutellino. The presentation was beautiful. The coffee was good. I couldn't taste the topping... next time, I'll go back to basics!

09/11/2025: Terrible coffee and for breakfast only frozen croissants or packaged snacks... a few meters further on there is a bar of decidedly different quality!

27/10/2025: It could use a makeover, the coffee is so-so, but it sells scratch-and-park tickets for paid parking, so remember, if you want to go to the bathroom, you have to pay.

15/04/2026: I was there for a wedding. The location was beautiful, but the food was truly poor. (Aperitif aside) The casoncelli weren't casoncelli but rather tortello with some kind of sauce, the meat definitely wasn't what I expected, the baked potatoes were bland, and I found three ants in the salad. The cake, however, was good. The organization left much to be desired. Furthermore, the guests asked for bottles of wine off the menu and were served without the couple's consent, who then had to pay for them without having included them in their bill.

24/09/2025: On Saturday, September 20, 2025, a friend and I went to the Gianpace Refuge. It's a beautiful refuge, a quiet, well-managed, and welcoming place, easily accessible to everyone with a simple walk. The trail is well-marked and not challenging. We ate and drank well. The Gianpace Refuge is featured in this year's Girarifugi della Lombardia (Lombardy Refuge Guide). It's a refuge I discovered this year, and it's worth a visit. The refuge is located in the Bergamo area, in the Orobie Park. You have to reach the village of Valgoglio, and then there's the trail. We visited the village and then took trail 232, which took us just over an hour to the Gianpace Refuge, stopping for photos and to admire the view. I've discovered other Bergamo valleys, as the Gianpace Refuge is located between Val Goglio and Val Sanguigno, in the Alta Val Seriana at an altitude of 1,331 meters above sea level. It was a pleasant trip that I recommend and we also found a beautiful sunny and warm day on our side.

16/08/2025: Private refuge. You arrive at the refuge after a hike on a sunny August day in a beautiful natural setting, but it has a sign saying it's private (only for friends of... and the association...). Another sign: bathrooms closed from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM (precisely during the time when people stop). I wonder what the point is... I'm writing this review so that anyone who hikes these trails can set out with no expectation of refreshments or use of the facilities. It would be nice if this were indicated on Google both at the start and along the trails, when the refuge sign is present several times.

05/01/2026: The terrace with a view is wow. Since the new staff member arrived, it's been a pleasure to go for breakfast here. Plus, the quality of the coffee seems to have improved. The friendliness has improved dramatically, something it lacked before. In fact, after hearing rumors, I returned and can confirm that I now always go there when I'm on vacation in Avitico.

26/12/2025: Honestly, the food is low-quality and not cared for at all. I've been to several sushi places and I have to say this is the worst. My daughter's udon noodles were, to say the least, tasteless and tasted like they'd been reheated in a bad way! I won't be returning and I honestly don't recommend it. There are several sushi places in the area that are worth it.

02/01/2026: There was a recent change in management. For now, the changes for the better have yet to materialize. While the old management always welcomed guests with a smile, offering kindness and friendliness to children and a bowl of water and treats for their friend Pet, this now seems like a distant memory. For now, the facility is the same, with both the strengths and weaknesses of the old management (an ideal location for the slopes and a quiet one, but with limited Wi-Fi in some areas where you often can't even get a mobile phone service, and old, poorly functioning bathrooms). As for the food, on New Year's Day, we found the bread stale, no breadsticks at the table, no buffet, no traditional sausages, and not even the longtime chef Massimo, who is truly skilled at cooking and making up for any shortcomings, was present. Prices have unfortunately tripled compared to the old ownership and, alas, weren't even displayed on a menu at the table, so we found ourselves with a very high bill without knowing it.
