18/08/2025: A great find: traditional dishes like fried cod, polenta with raspadura, and risottos are definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is welcoming, reminiscent of an old-fashioned osteria, with friendly and attentive staff who truly make you feel at home. Excellent value, especially the business lunch menu (reservations are recommended, as it's always busy on Fridays). Highly recommended if you're looking for authenticity and timeless flavors.

04/09/2025: Quite a commercial place. The pastries are artisanal, good, and in line with expectations. The coffee shop and the rest aren't up to par (low-quality coffee and cappuccino), and the pastries aren't well presented by the staff. The service is average, polite. They get busy, so they don't bother with passers-by. I won't return, given the wide selection in Milan. Price is in line with expectations for Milan.

The display alone is enough to make you swoon, packed with croissants and pastries that look, and taste, like art. The croissants? Absolutely next level: buttery, flaky, and filled with the kind of pastry cream that makes you forget everything else. Seasonal treats keep the menu fresh and always a surprise. Pair it with a V60 specialty coffee from world-class roasters (think Dak from Amsterdam) and you're in heaven! Staff are friendly, passionate, and genuinely love sharing their creations. Bonus: once a month, they host French-themed dinners with top-notch wines. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Bottom line: L’Île Douce isn’t just a café, it’s a little slice of France in Milan, perfect for croissant lovers and coffee nerds! Since opening, L'Île Douce has earned a special place among my favorites, not only in Milan but around the world! As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a true French boulangerie: the counter is overflowing with croissants, Viennese pastries, and top-quality pastries, all prepared with great care. The croissants are the real highlight: fragrant, buttery, perfect with custard, and every seasonal offering is surprising from the first bite. The quality of the pastries is paired with top-notch specialty coffee, also served using the V60 method from international roasters like Dak of Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly and passionate, ready to guide you in your selection and expertly explain the preparations. 19/08/2025: Aperitivo for €17: a generous plate of appetizers and two slices of pizza, plus an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail. I noticed several typical Sicilian specialties. Lots of desserts. A must try.

18/08/2025: If you want to pamper yourself first thing in the morning, you can't miss this welcoming, clean, elegant place with products that honor our Varese area. . . . Coffee or cappuccino accompanied by excellent pastries. . . And if you want to treat your palate to transcendental flavors, all you have to do is sample the rest of the bar. . . the eye does not deceive. . . it sweetens. . . highly recommended....🥳🥳😋 I'm purposely not posting photos so you can see for yourself.... Update 08/17/2025... I reluctantly have to lower the quality level of this place... given their new pastry supplier. . . Unfortunately, this choice is detrimental to the previous quality. . . While it used to make the difference... now it's mediocre, like many others. . . Hope lies in a reverse gear....

11/06/2025: We went to the market in Luino today, which was also very nice, but extremely overpriced, especially for the food... tourists pay for everything. But since we like good coffee/cappuccino, we researched where to go the day before. So we went to Pasticceria Cerinotti for lunch. To our delight, they had a wide selection of croissants with blueberries, chocolate, and pistachio cream... and for a fair price of €2 each! The cappuccino is also available vegan with soy milk. Everything tasted very good and saved our lunch 😀 The seating area is adequately equipped with standard bistro tables and chairs, but depending on how busy it is, it can be very noisy.

01/06/2025: Modern and well-kept sushi restaurant, the products are of good quality and there is a large choice, even for intolerant and celiac people. The dishes tried were all good and well presented. Value for money more than good.

The chef was truly top-notch: passion, knowledge, and imagination. I dined outside, in a historic, characteristic, yet refined and elegant location. The prices were fair for the quality offered. A restaurant that deserves praise; I will definitely return.

07/09/2025: Very nice restaurant. Delicious food. The manager and waitress were very kind and helpful. A charming place in Bergamo's upper town. Various vegetarian and gluten-free options. I highly recommend checking it out. I'll definitely be back.
