16/07/2025: We went for a work lunch break. The place was easy to find with a wide selection of high-quality products. Excellent value. The first courses were tasty, but not as good as the focaccia, but the side dishes were very tasty. Perhaps, rather than ordering a whole focaccia from the menu, I would have preferred to choose two pieces directly from the counter. The fourth star is for the focaccia served at the table, as soon as we arrived, while we waited for our dishes to arrive.

18/06/2025: Out of this world place: always rude and unfriendly staff. They have no one inside and they rush you and then make you pay with shocking prices, too high but are we in Venice? It is not a free choice to put those prices, it means not understanding where you are and making fun of the customer and once the product has been cut and heated the customer feels obliged to buy: PUT PRICE SIGNS IN VISIBLE AND ON EVERY PRODUCT... pizza slices at more than €5, savoury brioches at €4.50 with a slice of ham etc. Clearly the quality is also lacking and the products are mediocre, after 3 purchases I will not go in again until I see a different sign.

03/09/2025: The bar is beautifully decorated, the terrace is very pleasant, sheltered from the noise of the main road, and the waitress is friendly and offers good advice. The Sardinian white wine served with the tapas was excellent!

07/09/2025: Passing through Rapallo, I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful agriturismo. This restaurant is quite high up, so there's a wide, spectacular view of the sea! As a celiac, I can honestly say I enjoyed impeccably prepared Ligurian specialties. All the dishes were truly delicious, well-balanced, and full of authentic flavor. I loved the gluten-free focaccia and ravioli, especially the textures, which is very important when it comes to gluten-free diets. The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and always accommodating. The portions are generous; in fact, I couldn't finish them all! The owner loves cooking and cares about making her guests happy. I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is difficult given the perched location; you'll definitely need the cooperation of other customers to get their cars towed away so you can leave.

24/11/2025: Worst poke i have ever tried! The rice was so dry with no taste and they put only one sauce and unfortunately they don’t have large choices in the sauces. It was tastless and very tiny portions. Compared to the poke this one was a deception

07/09/2025: 2025: Unfortunately, management changed about a year ago, and the dishes that made this place special were eliminated to make way for a canteen-style service, perhaps suitable for those stopping by for a break from work, but definitely not suitable for a place that calls itself an osteria. 2023: Excellent pizza made with top-quality ingredients. Delicious homemade tiramisu!! Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful and very quaint atmosphere.

14/05/2025: I could start by explaining where and how he chooses the meat, I could tell you about the meticulousness with which he chooses the type of bread best suited to his burgers, or I could tell you about how tempted I was to ask for a piece of raw sausage, because it was so good... instead I'll tell you that I wanted to post a photo but after the first bite I couldn't stay less than two centimeters away from that explosion of joy and egg yolk that was my sandwich. I discovered Otto Kraus by chance, on a business trip to Genoa and, please, for your own good, don't miss the chance to taste and try this type of approach to burgers. Truly one of the best I've ever tasted. And don't even consider the negative comments, the helpfulness and kindness of the owner are values ​​that are hard to find nowadays, even for those who work in contact with the public.

26/05/2025: Credo che sia la quinta volta che "raggiungiamo" L'Ulivo... e questo la dice lunga! Il posto, scusate la "location", appaga la vista sia in esterni che all'interno. Classico locale informale ma ben tenuto, esterno da cartolina. Il cibo è ottimo, il servizio presente ma nono ossessivo, il principale un simpaticissimo Oste con la passione per la caccia. Si mangia bene, cose genuine fatte in casa e bene, cosa non scontata. Probabilmente nell'entroterra ligure si possono incontrare molte trattorie, alcune ottime altre un po' meno: qui si ha la certezza che, alzandosi da tavola, si è soddisfatti! Rapporto qualità / prezzo direi molto buono. Mangiando in quattro, due antipasti, tre primi, quattro secondi, due dolci e un formaggio con marmellata, litro di vino della casa e passaggio di alcolici fatti in casa, abbiamo speso 35 eurini a testa. poco più che in pizzeria, poco meno che all'Autogrill! buon appetito a tutti.

25/05/2025: Sono stata a cena con mio marito in questo bellissimo agriturismo a Barassi. La prima cosa che ci ha colpito è la meravigliosa vista sul mare....abbiamo individuato un tavolino fuori e già ci immaginiamo a cena quest'estate! Dentro il ristorante è squisito, tutto in legno con un camino che fa davvero atmosfera. Il cibo molto buono, in particolare la marmellata di pesche servita in abbinamento al gorgonzola: divina! Un grazie particolare a Giorgia che ci ha servito durante la cena: ha saputo unire professionalità e simpatia! Torneremo sicuramente!

12/11/2025: This establishment is located in the same Plaza de San Lorenzo, on the opposite side from the church. Service is average, but there's no wheelchair access; it's a terrace only. The restroom is very small but very clean. You can have anything from a snack to a meal of typical Genoese dishes or just a drink.

13/09/2025: So, you're sitting in the square with a beautiful view to eat and drink, but you're not getting any clean or hygienic service. The glasses are filthy. I can't even believe they've been washed. They arrive with the same filth that comes off when you wipe them with a napkin.

30/07/2025: One thing's for sure: traditional dishes, made "as they should be" (and as Genoese grandmothers used to make them): minestrone, ravioli, pesto lasagna, meatloaf, stuffed pasta, vitello tonnato, fried anchovies, cima... a true "handbook" of Genoese cuisine! Pleasant and quiet atmosphere, impeccably clean.
