La Cialtroneria In Genova

We went to Cialtroneria yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend (the legendary Andrea), and it was a delicious discovery! Initially, we just wanted a quick aperitivo, but the atmosphere and menu convinced us to stop by to try their dishes... and it was absolutely worth it! The food menu is on the wall, and the drinks menu is available via QR code. Special praise to the ladies at the bar: cocktails expertly prepared according to authentic recipes, not "random" as is often the case in other places in Genoa. Quality, courtesy, and hospitality: you really have everything you need. Well done, keep it up! We'll definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and the location was truly pleasant. The drinks were good and carefully prepared, and the food was excellent, although the portions were a bit small (perhaps because the table was for 11 or 12 people? I don't know). Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much choice of mocktails or alternative drinks. The alcoholic cocktails looked good, but for someone who is alcohol-free/non-sparkling, there was nothing but plain water, either by the glass or in a huge bottle. There was no middle ground with a small bottle or carafe. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere good.

This place saved our 2 day vacation in Genova. Genova wasn’t our favourite city but when we found this place, we had such a good time. Good drinks, good food and the best service ever. Highly recommend!
