17/08/2025: I've been to Baracchetta and I have to say I expected much more, especially since it's in Recco. The focaccias were half-baked, and the cheese focaccia was nothing special. The atmosphere was more like a village fair, with plastic tables and chairs... Overall, a disappointment. I don't think I'll be back.

23/08/2025: Reservation made at 7:00 PM for 8:30 PM, but at 8:50 PM the pizzas still hadn't arrived. We called the pizzeria and they told us that because of the football match, they'd be another 20 minutes late. After 10 minutes, they called back and said they'd deliver at 9:45 PM. So, in total, they'd be over an hour late. This isn't how you treat customers; if there's a reservation, you have to respect it, whether there's a football match or not. They probably made more money with people in, so it would have been better to keep the people at home who had booked hours in advance waiting. My compliments, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

08/06/2025: Sono capitato su consiglio di un signore. Ho letto le recensioni e quasi mi è passata la voglia. Poi ho deciso di andarci comunque. Bene la signora è stata gentilissima mi ha fatto accomodare al bar nel frattempo che si liberasse il tavolo, il cibo molto molto buono, lo spiedo una porzione enorme mi ha stupito. La panna cotta col sambuco meritava appieno i 6€ spesi, i camerieri tutti gentili. Ho speso 40€ cifra onesta per antipasto spiedo dolce birra media e acqua.

08/09/2025: A €3 cone with just a scoop of ice cream. Honestly, I'll take it and leave without arguing, but I certainly won't be back. It's a shame, because the product is excellent, and when the blonde man or woman served me in the past, I've never had any problems. It wouldn't take much to make a difference.

10/04/2025: The coffee is terrible, they don't know how or don't want to make it well, always with care that is sometimes not very personal. They don't drain the water from the machine, they never clean the filter holder, and the pressure on the coffee is almost non-existent, which is why coffee is pure poison. I advise you against it.

What I regret are that the prices are too high in my opinion compared to other pastry shops. A chocolate muffin, no matter how good, paying 4 euros for it is a lot. A small tray of their artisan chocolates (15) paid 28 euros: almost 2 euros per chocolate! In short, I go there willingly, but more and more rarely, because the prices have become jewelery prices!

I discovered Otto Kraus by chance, on a business trip to Genoa and, please, for your own good, don't miss the chance to taste and try this type of approach to burgers. Truly one of the best I've ever tasted. And don't even consider the negative comments, the helpfulness and kindness of the owner are values ​​that are hard to find nowadays, even for those who work in contact with the public.

29/04/2025: Every time I go to Genoa it's a must see!!! The food is fresh and tasty, the service quick and friendly. The environment is a little dated but it feels like a home. I could go crazy for their pansotti with walnut sauce!!!
