06/08/2025: From the welcome, the atmosphere, and the pizzas, everything was perfect! Really very friendly and the pizzas were excellent 👌. I highly recommend it.

08/01/2026: All prices were way too high. The pasta was either sticky or way too cooked, bathed in a sauce that tasted like canned food and way too salty. The pizza, although "gourmet" on the menu, had a rubbery crust and ingredients that were a dime a dozen. Bored waiters who make you feel like you owe them something for bringing you water (which costs the same as a cocktail elsewhere). The music was too loud and the tables were so cramped that I involuntarily joined in the conversation of my neighbors.

05/04/2026: A surprise: a very nice place, but what's striking is the great attention to raw materials, with truly high-quality culinary offerings. Excellent for an aperitif, excellent for dinner, excellent for an after-dinner drink.

03/02/2026: A historic venue in Chiavari. Excellent ice cream parlor and bar. Excellent coffee, cocktails, gelato sundaes, and hot chocolate. Hosts art exhibitions. Always clean. Friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff. Paid street parking. Outdoor seating is also available.

07/03/2026: Very good takeout pizza, several original options. I tried a white pizza with potato croquettes and ham. Delivery took a bit long, but it was Friday night! Easy to digest! Good price!

28/02/2026: I ordered three sandwiches from Just Eat. Aside from the 30-minute delay I'd anticipated based on the reviews, when the sandwiches arrived, the meat was charred and there wasn't a hint of the requested sauce. There was, however, a hair in one of the three... They're absolutely not worth the price.

30/08/2025: With a reservation for seven people, I find two round tables, a carefully crafted silver table setting, excellent bread accompanied by a small plate of mountain butter, and a wine list that reads like a dictionary, and unfortunately, the wine we chose is sold out. This is where the small inconveniences begin. My appetizer, brandacujun stockfish, was excellent, hot, with excellent olives. The same cannot be said for my friends' breaded Monterosso anchovies, which had a slightly worn flavor. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old girl awaits her dish without the slightest attention. The first course: tagliatelle with small-sized scampi in a smoky-flavored bisque, cold and overcooked. The spaghetti with clams was borderline acceptable. Ravioli were served in a used gravy boat, like a carafe, without a spoon or a saucer. Obviously, since I couldn't eat, they asked me, and I replied that I didn't like it. Then the chef showed up, hatless, from the kitchen where another person in civilian clothes was milling around, and insistently demanded explanations, which I promptly provided. He insisted that everything was fresh and the other table had already eaten... We got up and got discounted on the two first courses. Very intimate place, some suggestions: Reduce the wine list Fewer well-made dishes Lower the prices Less French, more Ligurian

19/04/2026: I visited this restaurant with my partner during a short vacation in Genoa. The atmosphere is very pleasant, informal, and yet intimate. The dining room is small, but we were lucky to find a free table. The lady taking orders is very friendly and has a manner I found pleasant. There's also a young woman learning the trade, with a warm and sweet smile. At first glance, the menu prices may seem high (though it must be said that they're in line with local prices), but I noticed that the portions justified the cost. I ordered fried anchovies, which were "just right," plump and flavorful (I've worked in Roman restaurants for twenty years and know a thing or two about fried anchovies), and a fish fry, also expertly prepared. I was very impressed with the appetizer, octopus tripe, prepared in a way I'd dare call masterful: tender, flavorful on the palate, truly exceptional. Another thing I appreciated was my companion's order of branda cujun (which I'm sure I misspelled, don't be offended), a sort of creamed cod (and cod is also considered sacred in Rome) that was truly delicious. The place is located near the port and therefore the old town of Genoa. I'll be back.

The owner exudes a passion for his work, and the staff is impeccable: attentive, cheerful, and ready to offer expert advice. A place that will stay in your heart and deserves to be tried again and again!

01/02/2026: Disgraceful waiters. They gave you the grated cheese in small quantities and even put very little on it. It was a pain to ask for bread, or they wouldn't bring it to you or they'd stare at you if you asked. The Panigacci were burnt and hard. Tiny portions. Fair prices, but they were based on the portions, which were small. I'll never recommend them again.

02/05/2026: The restaurant at the Hotel Savoia in Genoa is extremely convenient for those arriving by train, as it's located adjacent to the Piazza Principe station. The location is elegant and meticulously maintained, truly splendid and with a strong artistic character. The staff is knowledgeable and always smiling (a quality I greatly appreciated, especially in such an elegant and sophisticated setting). The dishes are sophisticated and high-quality, everything delicious, but I found the portions a bit small for the price. The tiramisu is good, but it would be better if it weren't assembled freshly: resting would allow the ladyfingers to absorb the coffee and achieve a softer, creamier consistency. Overall, I recommend it, especially for those who appreciate more refined and sophisticated flavors.

01/05/2026: The restaurant we chose was accidental. We were looking for something to eat later in the day. We made a reservation first, then read some rather unfavorable reviews. The place turned out to be very good. The ravioli, steak, and turbot were first-rate. We were pleasantly surprised by the appetizer. The portions seemed small, but they were perfect. Everything was beautifully presented. A small minus for the cold mushrooms – a side dish with the turbot – and the fact that we had to take the appetizer plate away while eating. The restaurant is practically a bistro, highly recommended. Very nice interior. Great service. We left satisfied. We recommend it.

22/12/2025: I don't know if it has changed management. I bought two sandwiches for 8 euros, so 4 euros each to take away. One was salami and cheese, the other was ham and cheese, inedible. Ham was very old, hard bread, black salami, thrown in the garbage.

20/01/2026: I have been to this place two years ago approximately and it was amazing; I have no gluten intolerence and yet it even their gluten free option was mindblowing. This time? What a mess. What they serve as a gluten free option should not even be called a pizza, the place is falling apart (literally), and the price is way far off from the value of what you get. Would never turn back and would never recommend to anyone. Apparently the owner also replies negatively to negative reviews (based on some that I read). No comments beyond that.
