30/10/2025: You don't go there for the ambiance; service is shared between the customer and the management, but the sandwiches are a delight. On our last visit, my colleague nearly fell over with delight. At the next table, two people (professionals in the field) were chatting amiably about food and yachting. Well, one of the two people's guests... almost fell over like his colleague! A lunch break with the sea on one side, even if it's chaotic with traffic, and the alleyways behind. A few steps after a sandwich can always be invigorating, especially as you get to see a truly distinctive Genoa.

30/10/2025: I've always liked it since it opened, and it continues to maintain its quality. Unfortunately, I used to get my supplies from the other store, also in the center of Genoa, which has unfortunately closed. It's great for both a quick lunch and a nice alternative to dinner, with good products and a fair price.

19/11/2025: Came with my mom for aperetivo, my experience was over all good, my mom ordered sparkling wine and they didn’t bring snacks which are supposed to be with aperetivo. Only when all other people who came later were served with snacks, the waiter asked my mom if she would like aperetivo. I don’t know if it’s some kind of sort of “special” treatment of tourists but guys you need to work on your service level :) come to Warsaw or Eastern Europe to see how it should be done

13/10/2025: Came here for lunch and had a club sandwich and caprese salad. The sandwich was spectacular and the salad was very fresh. The staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. We we definitely be back later for a bloody Mary tonight!

28/11/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable atmosphere. We stopped for dinner with a burger, and I have to say they were excellent. The portions were decent and fair. Prices were reasonable.

14/11/2025: Tried it on November 23, 2025, for dinner. I came to this restaurant to try the famous Recco PGI focaccia (also advertised outside) and I must say it did not disappoint. Super light crust, quality cheese, perfectly cooked, not to be missed (the only problem will be eating more). I also tried the fritto misto, which was also absolutely spectacular: not greasy, the anchovies melted in your mouth, and the shrimp still tasted of the sea. In short, for those who love fish and good food, this is a place worth trying. The atmosphere is clean, and the service is friendly and fast. Alternatively, meat dishes and a selection of pizzas are also available.

28/10/2025: The focaccia, pizzas, and farinata are all good, nothing to complain about... but the prices are a bit exaggerated.

16/10/2025: Excellent historic bakery with top-quality focaccia. Wide selection of Ligurian products and breadsticks, pizzas, and farinata. Very clean place and very friendly staff.

21/09/2025: Recco PGI cheese focaccia is a delicacy that needs no introduction. Although many bakeries serve it, the one in Moltedo always stands out, rising to the next level. The place was recently renovated and now also boasts a bar area. The cash register is separate from the sales area, making the experience more seamless. The place is clean, welcoming, and the staff is truly kind, friendly, and helpful. Recco focaccia is an experience worth having at least once in a lifetime. And when I'm at Moltedo, I don't even ask about the price: I just order. The focaccias are served in large pieces, varying in size, but they're all a masterpiece. The dough is simple—flour, oil, water, salt—but the magic is in the cheese, which creates a subtle delight for the palate. Recco focaccia is undoubtedly their flagship product, but the bakery also offers other delicacies: fresh bread, Genoese focaccia, a spectacular onion focaccia (which has a unique flavor, unlike any other), pizza, and much more. Do we have a flaw? Well, perhaps the only flaw is that they make a lot of focaccia, but if you don't order it for dinner, you risk having to miss out. Furthermore, after the fire festival (September 7-8), the restaurant closes for about a month for holidays, so it's important to keep this break in mind if you plan on visiting during that period. In conclusion, Moltedo is a must for those who love Recco focaccia and want to savor one of the best around.

06/09/2025: How can you call a dry, burnt board soaked in very low-quality oil (certainly not extra virgin) "focaccia," not to mention the much-vaunted cheese focaccia, which basically has nothing to do with Recco, with a ridiculous crust that has nothing to do with the cheese focaccia that has always been made in Recco: lumpy, rancid stracchino. I understand that it is a simple bakery (nicely recently decorated, apparently run by bearded Amish-style locals), so certainly not the classic Recco focaccia shop but a makeshift one. Make bread, it's better.

23/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant in a fabulous setting, at the foot of a small church. Everything we ate was delicious, as was the wine. The owner is very friendly. I recommend it.
