02/09/2025: We went to this restaurant in the old port area, and so far everything seemed normal. We ordered dishes that seemed reasonably priced, and actually got two tagliatelle with ragù for €15. Leaving that aside, as soon as we went to pay and saw the bill for €3.50 for half a liter of water, we told the local man. He rudely replied that it had always been like that and that was the price of San Pellegrino water (even though he had sold us cream water). Terrible experience and rude staff. We do not recommend.

07/08/2025: La location è magnifica e suggestiva. Dall’arrivo in barca a tutto il resto. Ma una struttura del genere non può e non deve “impedire” di offrire una vacanza romantica a due persone alle quali non piace il pesce. Stella Maris non è uno dei tanti ristoranti che si trovano nelle vie di una località turistica, dove chi vi soggiorna può scegliere, appunto, uno dei tanti. Stella Maris è unico nel suo genere. Basta vedere le immagini. Si trova su promontorio con bella panoramica sulla baia. È proprio per questa sua “unicità” non può continuare ad essere così limitativo sotto il profilo culinario. La cucina ligure e mediterranea non è solo pesce. Molti sono i piatti di qualità che offre. Ho dato solo due stelle per “premiare” la location, che sicuramente merita e ne avrei date cinque se il resort desse a tutti, ma proprio tutti, la possibilità di trascorrere una magnifica vacanza e non rinunciarvi solo perché non ama il pesce. Credo che nel 2025, occorra allargare gli orizzonti, per non tutte le persone sono uguali e tantomeno sono uguali i gusti di tutte le persone. Meditate.

02/07/2025: I spent 5 days in this hotel with my daughter, everything was perfect: cleanliness, room, delicious food, friendly staff, excellent location close to the sea, the center and the station. The girls serving in the room were delightful (the blonde girl and the black girl, and Greta, the only one whose name I asked, angels with my little girl). Excellent value for money especially having booked a few days before. Thank you so much, we can't wait to return to this little corner of paradise. See you soon, Alessia and Vera

21/06/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. They were so happy to chat and recommend places to visit. Even had a couple bikes for us to use to explore the area. I would like to say a BIG thank you to the cleaners - it is sooo nice to come back to a hotel room that is incredibly clean and comfy every day. Thanks to the staff. We loved our stay so much we booked an extra night at the end!

17/06/2025: Focacceria San Luca – Genova is a great place to try local flavors, and the surprise package from Too Good To Go turned out to be a bullseye. For a small price we got a lot of different focaccias – each one different, fresh and very tasty. A perfect option to try a few versions without overpaying. I highly recommend it, both for the quality and the generous portions – a great culinary experience in the spirit of not wasting!

25/04/2025: Aperetivo ottimo, persone simpatiche e competenti. È sempre un piacere passare anche solo x un caffè. Se volete un gin tonic siete nel posto giusto.

08/08/2025: Authentic atmosphere and welcoming owner. I returned after 13 years and nothing had changed. The farinata, the focaccia with meatloaf, and the cheese are amazing.

31/07/2025: A quality lunch break! I had the opportunity to try the amberjack ceviche, which was truly delicious. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend it!

20/05/2025: Scoperta per caso nei vicoli di Genova e subito amore! Si può gustare tutto seduti in un vicolino super caratteristico, atmosfera top. Abbiamo preso una crostatina ai lamponi e una pavlova: entrambe deliziose, curate e piene di gusto. Da provare se siete in giro per i caruggi!

12/04/2025: Se piacciono gli sfogliati perfetti, questo è il posto giusto. Ho consumato il Pain au Chocolat più buono della mia vita, ancora più buono che nelle Pasticcerie e Boulangerie che ho visitato in Francia. Il cioccolato dentro il Pain au Chocolat è veramente di qualità e ne percepisco ancora l'aromaticità in bocca. Ho voluto anche provare una mini tartelletta al limone, tarte au Citron, anche questa come il Pain au Chocolat fatta benissimo: crema ai limoni sublime e fresca, frolla perfetta. Lo consiglio a quelli che come me vedono una sacralità nei dolci, perché questo è un luogo che li consacra. Per finire il locale ha degli ottimi prezzi, bisogna anche considerare che è molto piccolo con 8 tavolini in tutto e si affolla facilmente, per fortuna c'è un bravissimo barista che sa perfettamente gestire la situazione: si destreggia tra un caffè e un americano e ti racconta per filo e per segno ogni dolce.
