05/04/2025: It wasn't a good experience, the coffee wasn't great and the service wasn't great either. It will probably be strong in the restaurant business, but if you simply need to drink a coffee there are other places in Alba.

07/06/2025: This place is home. I say this on behalf of my entire family, who were welcomed by the staff in a welcoming and excellent way. We showed up without a reservation, however they welcomed us with a smile and with an ingenious solution that really amazed us (we are 6). Many other people probably would have told us that there was no room, but they (especially the waiter) immediately started thinking of a solution. They then treated us in a charming way, we never felt like we were in the way. It was like being at home. The waiter then always took care of us, even when my brother started coughing and offered him water. The pizzas were fabulous, tasty, decorated in an original way. The house wine was delicious. We therefore recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat and feel at home.

25/05/2025: Our anniversary dinner proved a significant disappointment despite the high cost. While the views were exceptional and the food presentation innovative, the €500+ price tag did not reflect the quality of the cuisine. The "Chef's Experience Option" fell short of expectations; the menu lacked the premium ingredients one would anticipate at that price point, notably the absence of wagyu. Similarly, the "Elite" wine pairing was poorly timed and lacked adequate explanation of its complementarity to the dishes. In summary, the overall experience was unsatisfactory and did not justify the expense. In contrast, the restaurant on Floor 1 provided superior service and cuisine, a far more suitable choice for our anniversary celebration, as my wife repeatedly suggested.

19/02/2025: Takeaway pizzeria, called at 8pm, estimated delivery 9.30am! After agreeing to wait anyway and after two calls because the pizza didn't arrive, at 10.30 I requested a discount for the serious delay, but... rather than get a few euros discount, he brought the pizzas back! Evening without dinner... I have no words!!! For me it is CLOSED and my advertising will only be negative, it lost two pizzas, the proceeds and a customer. I'm just sorry about the pizza holder!

28/05/2025: A neo-Gothic style building, probably not a noteworthy work from an architectural point of view - you will never find it in art history manuals - but nevertheless it marks the territory with its slender Nolar tower; above all, it is inserted in an elegant and quiet context, despite its location in the city center

11/06/2025: Horrible service. In the room none of the different phone numbers (Housekeeping, Reception, Concierge, etc.) would pick up for over an hour. In the beach club the cleaning ladies are very rude and unwelcoming.

11/06/2025: Hotel Gran Miramare is a 1903 art nouveau building across the road from the beach, this upscale hotel has views of the Ligurian Sea and is also 3.2 miles walk from Portofino. Part of the walk is an elevated hiking trail with incredible views in a tree canopy. I highly recommend the walk. You can take a taxi back easily from Portofino. The taxi is high $$. We chose to enjoy an apertivo and walked back. Our rooms had beautiful hard wood floors and chandeliers, plus Wi-Fi and satellite TV with a sea view. Room service is available. There's an elegant restaurant with frescoes and a terrace for the amazing breakfast buffet. Don't forget to go to the piano bar. Incredible cocktails and exceptional service. The saltwater pool was refreshing after a day exploring Portofino. I highly recommend Grand Hotel Miramare.

16/11/2024: The baristas are very fast, attentive, friendly. It's the first time I go, my toast was excellent. Family atmosphere but some very noisy elements, with the discomfort of the Chinese barista who is very kind, even too much with certain people, poor thing, but the port is ok, it's clean. Excellent coffee and cappuccino. Toilet considering that it was just over the lunch break was ok. For a bar, a bit dated all in all, it's good. It has a large screen with music always on. It has a couple of gaming machines. In the window well presented food, only sandwiches, toast and focaccia.. brioche aside. I will go back during the Saturday breaks. Bus stop 45, practically on the door. Spacious internal room, many seats both at the counter and in the internal room. Tiny outdoor area just a corner for smoking, but in the summer there are 2 tables always occupied.

22/04/2025: Locale carino, tavoli grandi ma apparecchiatura fredda e senza senso, si mangia sul legno con tovagliolo di tessuto, brocca e bicchieri per acqua improponibili!!! Servizio professionale ma senza empatia, tempi giusti, qualità passabile ma tutto molto caro: un crudo di pesce 60 euro è veramente molto e presentato in modo osceno!!! 5 piattini scarni e sapori non definiti, carta dei vini con prezzi ASSURDI, la bottiglia meno cara 40 euro!!! se la tirano, nemmeno un saluto uscendo. Il peggior rapporto qualità prezzo di tutta la zona.

18/05/2025: Sacher (spacciata per tale) assolutamente fuori dai canoni. Sia nell’impasto, che nel ripieno. Non parliamo della ganache che tale non era ma una sfoglia di cioccolato. Tutto sommato una torta molto ordinaria. Mi aspettavo molto di più. Consiglio di cambiare nome alla torta.

12/04/2025: He estado aquí muchas veces. Al parecer, perdieron a su chef de pizza y el reemplazo no fue tan talentoso como el anterior. La pizza era buena, pero no la primera - tasa pizza a la que me he acostumbrado. Todavía recomiendo, pero ahora con algunas dudas. La consistencia es importante.
