Trattoria Maura Magnone In Genova

Trip to Genoa, near the river. By chance I saw a sign saying "Trattoria da Maura"—homemade food. A first course of mussels and clams for two, a second course of salmon and a side of salad and roast potatoes, two coffees, and a liqueur for €33. Simple home cooking. Everything was good and fresh. We returned in the evening. The minestrone alla genovese was excellent, the fried anchovies were excellent, and the side dishes were delicious. Well done, everyone!

The best trattoria-pizzeria in Genoa for its quality/price ratio. Traditional Italian and Ligurian dishes, cooked to perfection, fresh pasta and homemade desserts. The young and talented owner and the professional, friendly, and fast staff are all excellent! I often order the fixed-price menu with a choice of first course, second course, side dish, wine, and water, and it's absolutely delicious. Five stars!
