12/06/2025: In the heart of Chiavari's historic center, under the city's suggestive arcades, Farina 44 stands out as one of the most interesting pizzerias in the area. The proposal is gourmet, taken care of in the smallest details, and leaves room for the choice between a dough with a high crust, softer and airier, and a version with a low crust, crunchy and thin: both excellent. There were two of us: we both took the low version, delicious and light, the person with me really appreciated the possibility of ordering a pizza with lactose-free mozzarella, a detail not obvious but very welcome for those with intolerances. I chose a pizza with stracciatella and raw ham, really well balanced in flavors, with superior quality ingredients. The environment is well-kept and welcoming, both inside and outside. But what makes Farina 44 an experience to remember is the hospitality: the waiters Carlo, Maria Vittoria and Valentina were impeccable, attentive and friendly, with that genuine kindness that really makes the difference. A special shout-out goes to the owner and dining room manager, Stefano: professional, passionate, and always ready to recommend a good wine or craft beer to pair with pizza. The selection of drinks is in fact wide and well-studied, including draft options and niche bottles. Farina 44 is not just a pizzeria, but a place where you can feel at home, pampered by a team that puts their heart into what they do. Highly recommended

06/07/2025: Nothing to say about the food and service, the restaurant is worth a visit. Tasty and well-prepared dishes, excellent quality raw materials. Personally, I was unlucky and had dinner with only one great desire: to finish quickly and leave as soon as possible. At the table next to ours, 3 people were dining with a dog, who for the entire duration of the meal was free to approach almost to my chair and to run around between the legs of the waitresses while they served the various courses. Furthermore, the dog was free to stand up on its hind legs and put its front paws on the tablecloth, table, chairs, etc. Finally, the dog also gave himself a good shake a couple of times and this left me quite perplexed, thinking of fleas, insects and various parasites that could have been spread around. Not everyone likes furry friends while dining... I found great disrespect on the part of the owners of the animal, and little attention on the part of the manager of the place who, despite there being several free tables, positioned us in the corridor and near the bogeyman... Last but not least, every minimum hygiene rule is gone beyond if the dog on duty has the opportunity to rub against the clothes of the waiters who enter and exit the kitchen or if, even worse, the latter pet them between one course and another, without sanitizing their hands properly.

Sometimes I get the eggs and bacon, which are excellent. The owner, Paola, and the girls are always friendly and helpful! Well done, and thank you.

02/09/2025: Personally, I wouldn't return to this place for breakfast. I didn't like the food or drink, and I didn't appreciate the waitress's not-so-friendly payment at the table when I received my breakfast. That's never happened to me.

26/03/2025: Must try!!! The place is located - fortunately - away from the passageways on the corner of the pedestrian street Rolando. It offers high quality pastries, a beautiful external display case in wood and marble with a taste of yesteryear. I tried an aperitif: a really well-made Campari Spritz, accompanied by toast split in two and chips, that alone would have been enough. Instead, two types of freshly sliced ​​cheese and cured meats and two slices of a spectacular homemade pizza also arrive. All for 7 euros with outdoor table service included!!! Not bad. Well done. Worth a visit,

04/07/2025: Very nice pub in the Risorgimento area. They often broadcast matches. The space inside is not my favorite, but outside is definitely nice if it is not too crowded. Good beers and honest prices. The staff is very friendly, friendly and nice. During the aperitif they ask you if you want to nibble something and if so they bring you a nice cutting board

19/08/2025: When I'm in Sestri and crave gelato, Cucchi is my go-to. A Nutella-flavored waffle (I'm a stickler for flavor!) is high in calories, but perfect for a delicious lunch! The popsicles are also excellent; my favorite is the yogurt one, since they no longer have the coffee one. I'd love to try the cakes, which are definitely delicious and beautiful. The hedgehog or mouse-shaped ones would make any child happy on their birthday! 🍨🍰🍦

But a discovery to remember... family-run... clean environment... handmade dishes... superb cheese focaccia... even the regular one is a fond memory... local vegetables too... homemade ravioli... super generous portions... friendly service... and they make you feel at home... even our dogs were greeted with smiles... thank you everyone! Takeaway was a welcome treat, with the dishes we couldn't finish... ;)
