07/07/2025: OMG. Great restaurant with wonderful service and a spectacular view! We would highly recommend to anyone stopping by anywhere close. Both of our servers were very helpful with our meal selections. Such a wonderful find for us and a nice break on our trip from Turin to Nice. 2 thumbs way up!!

29/06/2025: First time in this place and what a pleasant discovery! We spent a wonderful evening with friends: the place is really nice, well-kept and with a splendid sea view that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The food is excellent, you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention in the kitchen. We ordered a Ligurian sparkling wine that unfortunately was not available, but the owner (I assume it was him) offered us a really good alternative, demonstrating great competence and care for the customer. During the evening he stopped by the table several times to make sure everything was fine: small gestures that make the difference. Friendly and attentive service, kind and smiling staff. Fair price for the quality offered, and at the end we were also given a small discount, a truly appreciated gesture. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!

12/07/2025: I'd been there a few times before, and it was exactly as I remembered it. The food is excellent, the portions are more than generous. The atmosphere is very nice, and the waiters are very professional.

29/06/2025: IL BADO is a guarantee. This inland Genoese trattoria serves authentic, home-cooked food. Ravioli, mandilli with pesto, cima genovese, and a sumptuous Italian-style mixed fruit platter are the dishes you shouldn't miss if you're planning a lovely lunch or a wonderful dinner. During this summer, the cool outdoor terrace offers a welcome respite from the heat. The prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the products offered.

10/07/2025: Expectations were probably high, but unfortunately, what we were served didn't live up to them! The catch of the day and its side dish gave the impression of being in a hospital! The spaghetti with clams was equally so; only the addition of bottarga added flavor to an otherwise unremarkable dish! The lamb shank had a strong sweetish flavor! The desserts and generous glass of wine by the glass were appreciable!

20/06/2025: Fantastic view and great staff, but you're paying more for the atmosphere than you are for any real culinary delight. The starters and cocktails were very good, but the main courses ranged from underwhelming to ok. The final bill was out of proportion to the quality of the food, but you're paying for the intangibles.

19/06/2025: The fish and drink and atmosphere was amazing! Highly recommend! The staff were incredible especially Teresa! The staff had to deal with a very unpleasant woman who was just looking for a free meal by complaining about her meal! The staff were professional and dealt with her with grace! They ensured that the rest of us were not put off by that woman! I highly recommended going here for a lovely meal ❤️

01/07/2025: An enchanted and almost surreal location, it feels like being in an ancient village out of time. Alessandro and Giuseppe's welcome will be the entrée, followed by dishes with a unique and refined taste and true flavors. And all accompanied by a white wine more fragrant than prosecco that leaves the palate in ecstasy. You can't find a negative note even if you look for it, you will experience a dream evening and a unique 360-degree sensory experience. I sincerely thank Alessandro and Giuseppe for having created a dream that will brighten the evenings of both tourists and locals

24/06/2025: The location is splendid, in a panoramic square of Pompeiana, near a church. Breathtaking view of the sea, very friendly staff, excellent home cooking, truly welcoming environment. A must for those passing through Santo Stefano al Mare.

The lady who served me, sunny and very kind, recommended a side dish of onions and raisins that turned out to be delicious. Modest price, excellent quality and a heart-warming welcome!

05/07/2025: Excellent dinner at the tavern, eating so well and spending less than 50 euros for 2 is priceless. 2 portions of Focaccia di Recco, spaghetti with mussels and linguine alla carlofortina… 2 waters and cover charge 49 euros…

In its category I consider it one of the best I have tried ... I hope to be able to return as soon as possible! Absolutely correct price in relation to what is offered, very extensive and updated wine list with more than fair markups. Difficult to ask for more.
