06/12/2025: Excellent experience, we ate very well. The atmosphere is dated but very welcoming. The outdoor space is beautiful for summer dinners.

And above all: it's the place you bring someone you love, because you know they'll leave happy. The fish is of the highest quality, treated with respect and intelligence: raw, cooked, paired... everything is balanced, clean, and perfectly enhanced. But the real surprise comes with the side dishes: extraordinary, lively, flavorful vegetables that tell a different story than usual, because they're grown directly on their farm, just like the oil and wine. A true supply chain, not "trendy." A cuisine that understands the meaning of care. Friendly service, present without being intrusive. You feel welcomed, not just served. The service is spartan and fast, very trattoria-like, but the food is a true delight, and the prices are incredibly low. You'll leave feeling full, happy, and with your wallet safe. 23/11/2025: My partner was visiting Genoa for the first time, and one day during this month we decided to drive down from Sarzano to look for a gelateria. I saw on Maps that there was this gelateria in the alleyways, and it seemed really interesting to see the selection. I have to say that just as there are several reviews that explain the owner's behavior, I completely agree. Even though I spoke to him in Italian, as soon as my partner asked in English to try a flavor that wasn't even 37, he started grumbling and ranting and saying things that made no sense, as if no one understood him. In the end, we decided to leave, and the man didn't apologize or anything; in fact, he was happy we were gone. Now, honestly, I've lived in Genoa my whole life and I know how many clowns there are around, but honestly, I wasn't expecting it, and I've never been treated so badly by a gelateria.

26/10/2025: We definitely recommend Locanda Nelli for its carefully prepared, delicious dishes, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We chose the duck breast, tagliolini, and sea bass: everything was delicious. Even the dessert, freshly prepared by the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and she even accommodated our extra cravings, which weren't on the menu. The service was professional and friendly. We'll take a special memory of this delicious dinner back to Lake Garda with us.

28/09/2025: Last night we improvised a family pizza, 5 of us arrived without a reservation and after 10 minutes they sat us down, fantastic pizza, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and everything super, the only problem (but it doesn't depend on them) is that they are far from us, otherwise we would always be there 🤣, we will definitely be back with great pleasure, thanks for everything

01/10/2025: Excellent, non-touristy place. High-quality, beautifully presented food. This is my first time ordering the house wine, and it's excellent. The staff and owner are very friendly. I recommend making a reservation.

27/11/2025: We stayed in an Airbnb next door, and they offered us a coffee and a cornetto for breakfast at the Pastry, and it was one of the best things about our trip. We had the best cream-filled cornetto there; the service was quick and friendly :) On our last day, I tried the fruit tart and the pannamore, and they were exquisite. I would go back to La Spezia to have breakfast there again 💕 Thank you so much!

25/11/2025: A fantastic find! We just popped in for a drink. Four cocktails for €31. And what a surprise! A plate of pizza slices arrived, followed by lasagna, roast beef, and then a charcuterie board with doughnuts and other treats. The setting was splendid, and the waiters and waitresses were welcoming. And there were useful things in the restrooms: tampons and towels were readily available.

02/10/2025: Born as an ice cream shop... In addition to establishing itself as such in La Spezia...it has managed to expand its offerings for its customers! Lots of pastries for breakfast...savory options...and even gluten-free! Bar counters for excellent coffee! Of course, the ice cream and ice cream cakes are the stars!!! So many flavors to try!!! The place also has an outdoor terrace... I must emphasize that, thanks to the kindness of the owner and the quality of the products, this place far surpasses many bars in the city center!!! Congratulations...

30/09/2025: We happened upon this place by chance, looking for a birthday cake. They were super friendly, but as an ice cream parlor, they also had Sachertorte. We were able to order it the way we wanted, in a heart shape with a personalized inscription. And it was absolutely delicious. I didn't write this review until the cake was gone, so no photo.

07/12/2025: Amazing hospitality, we enjoyed it very much. It was a true Italian experience and although the staff don't speak English we found the ways to communicate. I really enjoyed their special dish sugo di noci (vegetarian) and ravioli al ragu. The tiramisu was the best one in Italy!
