21/01/2026: My wife and I went for dinner after reading many positive reviews and having fairly high expectations. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the service is attentive, perhaps even overly so: very attentive but at times intrusive. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation. The appetizer I ordered (calamari with pumpkin) was unbalanced: the pumpkin was overly sweet, with too much butter/oil, and it completely lacked a balanced acidity. I left a good portion, and no one asked us why. The first courses were disappointing. The mixed seafood pasta was adequate but unremarkable: the flavors weren't punchy, "you couldn't taste the sea." My wife ordered spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, shrimp, and burrata: the dish tasted nothing like garlic, oil, or chili pepper; the burrata covered everything, making the dish flat and lacking in character. In short: plenty of form, but little substance. The dishes are "ordinary," lacking personality or depth of flavor, and don't justify the price tag. With more careful attention to balance, technique, and the dishes' identity, the experience could be significantly improved. For now, however, we definitely expected more.

The appetizer was delicious: raw purple shrimp and a delicious focaccia crumble; the first course was a fantastic pasta dish with potatoes and seafood! And finally, a dessert that would be an understatement to call just dessert! Well done, Silvia!

30/10/2025: I recently stayed here with Don Bruno. We both love Mediterranean cuisine, and we found it here. Andrea and Paolo's cooking is top-notch. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The value for money is also excellent. The house wine was also good. We highly recommend Andrea Favalli's restaurant, *Monile*. We would definitely return, but unfortunately, we live on the other side of the world.

14/12/2025: A welcoming place, good food, carefully plated and in just the right amount. The still wine on tap was good quality, both white and red. The à la carte meat and seafood menus offered a wide selection, with excellent ravioli on both menus. The fried fish dish was very rich and dry, not at all greasy. The dessert at the end of the meal was a decent one, a homemade zuppa inglese with a pleasant alchermes flavor.

07/11/2025: I go there whenever I can. I'm celiac, but they use rice flour to bread the fish, so I can also eat the mixed fried fish. 😁🤤 Fresh fish of the day, good bottles, and fair prices. Be careful!! Limited seating, no reservations, and it gets very busy. You often have to wait.

08/02/2026: Homemade pasta, local produce, homemade desserts, impeccable presentation and service, small but welcoming atmosphere. We ordered: first courses, second courses, side dishes, wine, desserts, coffee, and liqueur. Price: low for the quality offered (keep it up). Result: a pleasant day, we felt pampered by people who are passionate about their work. We will gladly return.

11/01/2026: Ristorante Lounge Bar Marabotto proves to be a relaxed restaurant/gallery with a very pleasant atmosphere. The paintings, created by the owner Davide Zanni himself, give the interior a unique flair. Add to that bossa nova lounge music and the attentive service and conversation provided by Davide and his colleagues. We feel very comfortable here – and the food is simply sensational. We'll be back.
