23/08/2025: Delicious cocktails at a great price, most around 8 euros. The staff is very polite and interested in you as a guest. Every drink comes with nuts and chips, and in the afternoon, a free tapas platter! Highly recommended compared to the restaurants and bars in the area, both for quality and price! 🍹

16/08/2025: Incredible! Delicious and very inexpensive cocktails accompanied by a generous aperitif included in the price of drinks. All this served with a smile and a lot of humor. It feels like you've found a little paradise hidden in the corner of this very busy square. An aperitif here is a must! Excellent!

14/08/2025: We arrive at the beautiful beach club, where I'd already been for lunch and as a beach guest two years ago. I ask for an aperitif and am directed to the dedicated area facing the beach. We sit at a table and wait. A waitress comes out and checks on me from afar. I politely raise my hand to draw attention to myself, but the lady looks at me askance, says sharply and rudely, "Take it easy," and walks away. I should point out that I didn't ask for anything, but simply made our presence known. Rude person. I waited 15 minutes and the lady didn't show up. We got up and left. We certainly did her a favor, one less effort for her. It's a shame because I've always had a good time there and the place is beautiful.

28/08/2025: Great location for a summer meal. Although food was okish* (great for simple dishes as pasta, seafood, avoid lamb - they have no idea how to cook it. Was just panfried and chewy) however, the service took forever to get us started and wasn’t all that pleasant. Sorry - maybe if the manager puts some extra effort it can be a great place, but staff looked tired at the end of Summer.

17/07/2025: There were not many people, but we waited for a very long time. The food was not bad but nothing special for a portion of 45€ I expected more. In total we left there 122€ and I think it is not justifiably expensive. After we paid for dessert 30 minutes passed, and we asked where our dessert was, and only after 30 minutes they started to prepare it. I do not recommend everything for very long.

14/07/2025: A wonderful menu, delicious cuisine, a magnificent setting full of history and good taste, and above all simply excellent service, right up to dessert when our charming waiter prepared the tiramisu at our table...an unforgettable experience!

30/08/2025: The food was very good, but it was a shame about the long wait. A good half hour passed before the waiter took our orders, and then we waited over an hour for three pasta dishes.

05/08/2025: A top-notch restaurant. The location is perhaps its weakest point, despite being excellent. The location is spot on, in the center of Monterosso, but it's a shame that without knowing it, it's difficult to identify given the small portico. Perhaps a sign or some other object could be used to better identify the restaurant. The service is impeccable. Although there seems to be only one waiter, even with a considerable number of guests, he manages to manage everyone admirably. You're greeted with a bowl of delicious bread that makes you want to mop up your plate even if it's empty. If you run out, they're ready to bring a second. The cutlery is changed with each course, and without having to ask, they even brought us small plates to share (since we'd ordered a main course for two and a dessert for two). Always smiling and friendly, they seem happy for every customer who arrives and treat you like a king! As for the food, I think it's unbeatable. We tried three first courses (two were of the day and one was from the menu): "Cuttlefish ink pasta with swordfish, pine nuts, capers, and tomatoes," "Egg pasta with shrimp and pesto," and "Shrimp and burrata pasta." Every ingredient seemed to be spot on and paired well with the others. Flavorful dishes and fresh fish, not the kind you find in a supermarket. For our second course, we treated ourselves to a "swordfish fillet with citrus fruits," which truly tasted of citrus. I was amazed by this; it had an ultra-delicate and refined flavor. The fillet was tender and generous. The "tuna steak on a bed of pistachios" was equally delicious. The desserts were a touch of class. We had a pistachio cream with berries, which delighted my palate. As a pistachio lover, I have to say it was very good. A wonderful experience! We were happy to have discovered this gem in the heart of Monterosso on the last day of our vacation and to have been able to end it on a high note.

12/08/2025: A really cute little place frequented by locals just below the B&Bs in the hills behind Recco. It's quite far from the center of Recco, so it's best to drive there, although you can also walk about 2.5 km. But it's definitely worth it. The place is vintage but clean and well-kept. The staff is really friendly. They have a decent wine list and a fairly traditional but well-curated and thoughtful menu. They offer both traditional meat and fish dishes. I had the pansoti with walnut sauce and the pork tenderloin with apples. Truly special. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. If I were to pass through Recco again, I would definitely return.

06/08/2025: Restaurant... more than a tavern/trattoria, even in terms of prices. Interesting wine list... sommelier available. Arrived without recommendations or word of mouth... one of the few places open and available on Monday evenings in August. Good first courses and delicious desserts.

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, enhanced by paintings and handcrafted details that make the setting unique. Special praise goes to the chef, who masterfully transforms every dish into a culinary experience. Such high quality, combined with more than fair prices, makes this restaurant a true gem.

02/09/2025: Super fresh fish and delicious dishes! Generous portions, impeccable first courses, and friendly service. The atmosphere is warm and charming, enhanced by beautiful paintings and some artisanal items. A high-quality experience at a very reasonable price, especially considering the freshness of the catch.

31/08/2025: We found this focaccia shop quickly on Google because we couldn't leave Genoa without taking a piece home. Unfortunately, we arrived late and there wasn't much choice. We also had plain focaccia (very good) the next day. Recommended!

28/08/2025: A small place, nestled in the center's alleys. Perfect for stopping for a quick bite if you're out for a stroll. The clerks were friendly and cheerful. The focaccia and pizza were mostly excellent, and the prices were moderately low (€8 for two, I couldn't believe it when they charged me). The only downside is there's no bathroom, but otherwise, it's just as good.

03/09/2025: Top-notch hospitality and service. The food (we had two fish main courses) was good and well-prepared. Price for two fish main courses and two desserts: €64. Pleasant, no-frills interior. Unfortunately, the outside is noisy due to traffic, but it's still comfortable and clean.

24/08/2025: Aperitif upon arrival with my daughter. We're French. The café is very pleasant, with a friendly atmosphere during the day and live music in the evening. A must-visit place. We couldn't leave without having breakfast yesterday at this café. The aperitif, coffee, focaccia, and croissant were all very good, and the prices were more than reasonable. Raffaele is a very friendly and cheerful person, we loved it. When we walked past the café without stopping, he would greet us and wish us a good day or evening. It's so nice to see people smiling 😊
