Delicious food—both the pinsa and the cannoli! Be sure to order the cannoli! 😍The service is very friendly. The view isn't the best, as it partially overlooks the parking lot, but with beautiful weather, that doesn't matter so much ;)

The BEST croissants I have ever tasted in my life! Not exaggerating. Super friendly. Avoid late morning as there will be a queue. Try the blood orange juice as well. Freshly squeezed. The pastries are amazing! Order the pistachio croissant with cream if you want your life changed!

We visited for breakfast. The service and food were great! The owner took good care of us and shared his recommendations. This was our favorite food in Vernazza.

UPDATE 03/2026 This place offers the earliest and most delicious breakfast, with very aromatic (undiluted!) fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs, various types of croissants, etc. - absolutely excellent. UPDATE 04/2025 A very varied breakfast, excellent gnocchi al pesto, very friendly service. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, a lot is served on disposable plates. 04/2024 Delicious breakfast, lunch, and coffee until 7:00 PM. You're no longer reprimanded for wanting eggs for breakfast - fresh undiluted orange juice, delicious chocolate rolls, scrambled eggs with/without ham, delicious gnocchi with pesto... We were there frequently for breakfast and lunch. What slightly confused us was the labeling as a café, even though we were turned away at lunchtime if we only wanted a drink.

We went on a trip to the Cinque Terre. I wanted to try cannoli and I'd read that the best ones were at Il Pirata delle Cinque Terre. I expected to find a pastry shop or something like that... surprise, it was a restaurant! I was hesitant to go in, so I asked the waitress. She very kindly invited me inside, and two very friendly Sicilian brothers told me about their interesting roots and what they did. In short: I tried a delicious cannoli filled with a spectacular creamy ricotta and pistachio. The best I've ever had! Thank you so much, guys, for your great work!

It's fantastic and the service is very good.

Very tasty, locally sourced. The prices are a bit higher than average, but you get something truly delicious. A slight drawback is the paper plates.

On the opposite side of town from the tourist area. Excellent service with great recommendations for the food and dessert. They ask about food intolerances. Clean and fast.
