19/05/2026: While staying in Ventimiglia for a few days, I was fortunate to discover this restaurant just a short walk from where I was staying. The atmosphere was quaint and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. I especially appreciated the opportunity to practice my Italian throughout the evening. I started with a glass of local Rossese, a lighter-bodied Ligurian red with an elegant character somewhat reminiscent of Pinot Noir. For my antipasto, I chose the farinata with Gorgonzola, which was rich, savory, and wonderfully comforting. For dinner, I decided to try the coniglio disossato in casseruola alla ligure—boneless rabbit prepared with olives, pine nuts, and white wine. It was absolutely delicious: tender, delicate, and surprisingly approachable for anyone trying rabbit for the first time. I paired it with the optional red cabbage salad, which complemented the meal beautifully. Everything from the presentation to the ambiance felt thoughtful and authentic. An excellent dining experience from start to finish, and absolutely a place I would return to when back in Ventimiglia. 🇮🇹🍷✨

14/06/2026: For me, no. You book a dinner with singing, but there's actually nothing singing about it. They ask you if it's a hen/stag party, for what reason? Since no one cares about you? Not exactly friendly waiters, tiny portions, and exorbitant prices.

Unfortunately, we were still full from our afternoon snack and weren't very hungry, so we opted for a salad and a plate of prosciutto and melon, which they served with delicious schiacciata. 29/03/2026: We recommend it. A simple, traditional family restaurant. We ordered the "Il Genovese" starter, which was fine. The pasta dishes, however, were very good. We ordered chestnut gnocchi with pesto and lasagnette with pesto. We also enjoyed the house wine.

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Sanremo. The dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was particularly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality. A truly excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return on our next visit to Sanremo.

14/06/2026: We had planned to eat at Ristorante Flipper, but when our family arrived, it was fully booked. The owner told us that if we went to his other restaurant, Il Molo, they had the same menu and that we would be very impressed. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The waiter was excellent, but the food was terrible. The steak that my children received was tough and poor quality, and the lobster pasta was awful. The only things we enjoyed were the bread and the French fries. My spouse and I have eaten at many restaurants over the years, but this meal was not good. I feel the owner should have recommended a different restaurant, especially since we were dining with four children. The steak at Il Molo was particularly disappointing and not something I would recommend.

10/06/2026: A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, and incredibly kind service. We were also very happy to find that dogs are welcome 🐾 The food was outstanding. The truffle pasta and the ravioli were honestly the best we have ever eaten. Portions are also very generous, so come hungry! We did experience a small misunderstanding due to the language barrier, but it did not change our overall impression of the restaurant. After finishing part of my first course, I used a translator app to ask if the waitress could pack the rest for me to take away because the portions were so large and I wanted to save room for my second course. Unfortunately, the translation seems to have been incorrect, and our second courses were understood to have been cancelled. After waiting quite a while, my partner asked about the dishes and we discovered the misunderstanding. By then it was already late and the restaurant was beginning to close, so sadly we didn’t have the chance to try our second courses. Despite this, we still give 5 stars because everyone was kind, place is cozy and clean, the mistake was understandable, and most importantly - food was absolutely AMAZING. We are leaving the area today, which is a shame because otherwise we would definitely come back. A beautiful place with truly delicious cuisine! P.S. Imagine our surprise when we left the restaurant and saw fireflies 🧚🏼 dancing through the air! It was absolutely breathtaking and felt like something out of a fairy tale. A truly unforgettable ending to our evening.

01/06/2026: Everything was good, and I will DEFINITELY find a way to return. The cold cuts were average, the cheese with hazelnuts was exquisite, the pansoti with a fantastic homemade filling were fantastic, the gnocchi and pesto were both high-quality, and the mixed Italian-style fritto misto was a bit lacking in variety (ham and cheese sticks, vegetables, apples, sweet milk, and a very thin cutlet), but well-made. The birthday cake was also homemade (not from a bakery), but beautiful and delicious (perhaps it could have been soaked a little more, but I've had much worse!!). But why ONLY 3 stars? (I gave 4, I know, but I didn't want to be graphically harsh.) I'll let the numbers do the talking. 23 people for a hundredth birthday. We sat down at 12:45, got up at 5:15. With a pre-arranged menu, you CANNOT have such endless downtime between courses! There was a 100-year-old woman at the table. Both the pansoti and the gnocchi cooked in a flash and, like the sauces, could have been made ahead of time. Everything, even the fried food, arrived on trays, so there was no need to plate it. I can't comment on the portions, nor on the price... It all becomes a bit marginal with such a long wait! More than an hour for the pansoti! Besides the 23 of us, there were only 3 other tables of 4 people maximum. ..

31/05/2026: We go there often when possible because we live near Masone. The food and selection are exceptional, with great service. It's a shame about the opening hours, as they don't open in the evenings, but only at noon. However, everything was very good, and the service was kind and attentive.

05/06/2026: A quaint location, the mixed fried fish was good, but the Ligurian-style sea bass was truly spectacular!! And to finish, a truly unique dessert... "chinotto semifreddo." A truly positive experience... we recommend it.

14/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. The takeaway food was poor, and the Dal Makhani appeared spoiled and tasted rotten, making it completely inedible. Separately, when I politely asked about the service charge, the owner became loud and shouted at me. Instead of explaining the charge professionally, she told me, “This is how we talk,” which I found rude and disrespectful. There was no attempt to handle the situation courteously or address my concerns. Between the poor food quality and the unacceptable customer service, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I would not return and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

02/06/2026: We had a very cosy dinner at this restaurant which is tucked away in a corner off the main strip. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

01/06/2026: We booked at the last minute, and they were very kind enough to reserve a table for us that had just been cancelled. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, and the menu is unique, but for meat lovers, it's a real treat. The side dishes are delicious. The only thing I think needs updating is the air conditioning. While there were only a few tables outside, there was a pleasant breeze, inside, for the last day of May, it was quite hot, and I can't imagine what it will be like going forward with the season. Everything else was exceptional, as was the friendliness of all the staff.

23/05/2026: We went to this typical Varna restaurant this evening. The place is highly recommended. One of the best cuts of beef I've ever eaten. Top 👍
