06/05/2025: The food was excellent. The staff super friendly, honest and kind. W spent there 2 hours and nearly died because of overdosing the food. I had a carpaccio di polpo with potatos and frito misto served with the exceptional sauce (avocado, mayo, lemon, basil, garlic and few other ingredients). 4 stars only for too high temperature or not efficient A/C (might be v. OK for locals 😁).

03/05/2025: Traditional restaurant with Ligurian cuisine. Few tables, in a rustic, homely environment, where you feel at home. From the appetizers, to the first courses, second courses, desserts and bread included, it is all homemade with top quality ingredients!!!!!

28/02/2025: Recommended by a colleague of mine from Laigueglia. Reservation required on whatsapp. Beautiful venue and very friendly staff. The menu varies according to the day and is typical Ligurian. We took a mixed starter of 2 and 2 fish main courses, and they offered us an entree based on delicious Ligurian focaccia. To drink still water and 1/2 liter of house white wine. Exceptional stuffed squid!!! At the end of the meal we were offered apple fritters with an encore and unlimited bitters. The bill was a surprise: 50 euros. Congratulations indeed for the quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back!!!!

13/05/2025: Sensational experience. Impeccable service, excellent freshly cooked food, with top quality raw materials. Owner and staff kind and ready to satisfy customer requests. Due to the known restrictions on alcohol, we limited ourselves to drinking water, but the place highlights a selection of top quality wines.

14/04/2025: Eaten here several times. The atmosphere is lovely, especially in the summer. The place is very well kept and the food is excellent.

11/04/2025: The restaurant is beautiful and we were greeted pleasantly. Staff provided excellent wine recomendations, and the first courses were good. BUT... even though we were the second table in the restaurant, they took over an hour to serve our main courses. couples who entered after we did finished dessert before we were served. the main courses were very uninspiring, one of the lamb dishes was served cold, the prawns had sand in them. overall experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend for families.

13/05/2025: We were advised to go to Flipper restaurant ... I assure you an excellent experience a fantastic location the first courses are fantastic the fish is very fresh ... the staff is very kind and friendly ... we will definitely be back ... highly recommended ...

18/05/2025: And definitely a MUST not to be missed if you come to these parts, the food is delicious and every dish you choose is a nice surprise. The tuna tartare is excellent, as is the mixed fried fish that we tried. The staff is kind and helpful. The environment is small but nice, the only negative note is that in this restaurant you cannot book, since it is always full you risk waiting a long time or not trying its delicacies. I highly recommend it also because the quality/price ratio is very good. We will definitely go back .... waiting permitting having a small child. If you liked the review you can put a nice like so you can grow in the community.

18/05/2025: Honestly we will never go back! I ordered a green salad that was visibly horrible with cooked leaves! At least they could have fixed it by bringing a fresh one but of course they didn't have it! And to say that if you don't have fresh ones why do you put them on the menu? Not to mention the mixed fried food with breaded white hair. We found it towards the end of the dish and we reported it as well as showing it, they offered to remake it but by then I was disgusted! They could have fixed it by making him pay less given that the inconvenience occurred and then who trusts to order something if the quality sucks.

06/06/2025: Davvero tutto eccellente...Spettacolari i mandilli al pesto e pure le tagliatelle ai funghi. Ottimi gli arrosti e i contorni cipolle/peperoni. Tutto cucinato benissimo e ben presentato, servizio attento, titolari cordiali e gentilissimi. Torneremo! p.s. piccolissimo appunto, manca in effetti il menù con un prezzi, che tuttavia si sono rivelati più che onesti.

28/05/2025: Walking in and finding it packed on a Tuesday night says a lot about a place. Ask if there's a seat even though you haven't booked and you're seated in a minute. Simple place, simple staff, simple food. With pesto lasagna like this it will be difficult to try something else next time...

20/05/2025: Staff were super friendly and kind here, stepped in for lunch and we were amazed by the big portions. The fried fish antipasto was delicious, we also got the pesto trofie which was a little plain, maybe some extra protein or vegetables would’ve been nice. The restaurant was quite small but they’ve packed it with theme trinkets and history which I enjoyed.

19/05/2025: We arrived 1.5 hours before closing time and they were still willing to welcome us. The staff (both the manager and the waitress) were very attentive! The food was generally very good. Special mention for the Incanto white wine and the "dessert quartet" which were exquisite.

02/05/2025: Honestly, not out of disrespect, absolutely, but knowing the strong patriotic nature of the Chinese people I always thought that I would first meet an Italian speaking a fluent Chinese than a Chinese chef who was up to par with an Italian chef on local cuisine, yet thanks to that cosmopolitanism, and above all to the interpretation that Genoa gives to the word, I had to deal with reality, this evening I met the second one first... Chinese-run restaurant but excellent Italian cuisine, Chinese staff but local in manner, clean place that perhaps However, it needs a refresh. 5 stars + just for the amazement...

30/05/2025: A wonderful discovery, located in a small village. We loved the atmosphere and the typical Italian dishes, all homemade. Our grandmother is in the kitchen. It was a real treat! The service is impeccable, fast, and courteous. Remember to make a reservation; this beautiful place gets very busy. Don't hesitate to make a detour to visit.

03/05/2025: A beautiful Finale cuisine experience in a quiet, clean and intimate environment. It also has an outdoor area in a beautiful view of the medieval village. The staff is very friendly, scrupulous and quick. The menu is particular with interesting local gastronomy options. The prices are adequate for the entire offer.

24/05/2025: For a few years now, when we are on vacation, we have been coming to dinner at Bastian Contrario, what can I say, the quality of the food is excellent, from the focaccia (amazing) to the meat and fish. The staff is always very kind and attentive to the needs of the customers. The owner is very friendly. What can I say, simply thank you for being there.
