25/07/2025: In centro. Si mangia molto bene. Soprattutto pesce. Vini soprattutto del territorio, buoni e abbastanza abbordabili. Il pesce è freschissimo! Servizio buono, locale informale ma tranquillo. In estate c’è una corte interna nella quale si mangia e si sta al fresco, piacevolmente lontano dal rumore del centro. Prezzo non trattoria ma neppure esoso.

25/07/2025: Nel cuore di La Spezia, in una strada pedonale, c'è il ristorante Giardinetto. Si compone di diverse piccole sale con un'atmosfera accogliente. Sui muri ci sono dipinti dei borghi delle Cinque Terre. Offre una cucina tradizionale, ma variata. Si possono gustare gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare con basilico e sottili fette di limone al Marsala. Veloce e elegante.

25/05/2025: A bakery that fully deserves its rating. We didn't taste everything, but to name just the croissants... they are the best I've had in a very long time. Much better than 95% of French bakeries. That's a shame! And yes, the focaccia is truly to die for. Yes, you have to queue, even on a Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m., but now I know why. Congratulations to the team for their remarkable passion for their craft.

18/05/2025: Very nice restaurant in the Genoese hinterland, with attention to detail and welcoming and kind staff. The choice of dishes is not wide, but it is certainly due to the fact that everything is homemade and with top quality products. The cellar is excellent with high-level proposals. The desserts deserve the highest step of the podium not only for the panna cotta. To return.

08/07/2025: A place that seems out of this world and almost impossible to find (if you stand in front of the station, you can see a pedestrian street going downhill on the right; as you go down, be careful to turn right before the tunnel). I think it's the best fagassa in Genoa. Very kind and friendly staff.

02/06/2025: Una focaccia buonissima a un prezzo decisamente "competitivo". Noi abbiamo fatto il pieno per il viaggio di ritorno: 10 pezzi di focaccia classica, 2 recco, uno con le olive. Totale 20 euro. La farinata era finita, siamo arrivati troppo tardi. Personale giovane ed estremamente cortese. Complimenti

22/07/2025: Excellent trattoria, beautiful and well-kept location, very friendly and welcoming staff, full of young people who are very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. We went with our friends and had a really good time. The prices are fair for the food; given the wide selection of dishes, you can spend a little or a lot. We'll definitely be back!!

12/06/2025: I went for the first time today to have an excellent coffee standing at the counter in this small and welcoming café located inside the Genova Principe train station with tables inside and also outside with a view of the station. I have been frequenting several other places in Mentelocale for years every day such as in Via Garibaldi and in Via Balbi and I have always had a great time. In this café you can have breakfast and also lunch with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The staff as always in all the other places in Mentelocale are welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and they only serve you at the table at lunch while for coffee, toasts and other drinks you order, pay and then collect your order and good prices!! 24/07/2025: Petit resto recommandé par la propriétaire de l’hôtel où nous séjournons. Une bonne table. Carte de spécialités génoises. Peux-être juste un peu trop salé mais cela n’engage que moi car c’est une affaire de goût personnel. Personnel et service très bon. Dessert excellent.

17/07/2025: The food was really good. I don't usually drink wine with meals, because I like to savor the flavor of my food as it is. If it's good, there's no need to add anything else. And these dishes were really good for me. The place is "typical" of the alleyways, so outside you find yourself in a place that's not exactly pleasant in terms of smells, and you have to be careful where you step. Some might interpret this as a "typical experience"... Inside, it's simple and clean, but any flaws would quickly be offset by the quality of the food and the service. We'll definitely be back.

22/07/2025: A pizzeria that inspires! This pizzeria absolutely won us over! The pizza was simply fantastic – crispy base, fresh ingredients, and simply perfect flavor. You can tell the passion goes into making it here. But not only was the food outstanding, the service was also great. The staff was attentive, friendly, and served us with a warmth that made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you so much, and we'll be happy to come back.

01/07/2025: It's good but very expensive. In practice, with the price of a glass + aperitif you can easily have dinner in any pizzeria. One of the waitresses (blonde) is rude, the other very kind. They don't clean the alley from pigeon droppings (it's really full of them) and the seats have no backrests. Let's say that from a rustic environment in a dirty alley I don't expect to spend as much as for a chic aperitif...
