17/02/2026: Went to the bathroom and got a ginseng long drink for €2 and a mousse for €1. The atmosphere is new and clean, and the staff is friendly.

06/02/2026: I didn't like the barley coffee and the soy milk wasn't frothed The bathroom is a pitiful thing. Pizza only tasted burnt...my review apparently triggered the owner's very rude response, too bad, instead of improving...the words speak for themselves.

17/11/2025: Definitely a positive review. I ate well. I spent the right amount. Generous portions. The meat is delicious and well-cooked. There's no shortage of Roman cuisine. I highly recommend this place.

The meat was as good as you'll find anywhere else, especially since the price is reasonable for the food... I expected much better from the reviews I'd read!! It's definitely not a place I recommend.

03/03/2026: This place was known for a €120 smartbox that included three courses and a bottle of wine. I ordered a €30 bottle of prosecco instead of the white wine and was told I'd pay the difference, but I paid for the bottle in full, so the other bottle was lost. The final bill included two bread baskets worth €2.50 each, brought to me before the appetizer, paired with a local olive oil. I hadn't ordered it, thinking it was free, but I ended up paying for it. I'm not a big fan of bread. Moving on to the food, both appetizers were good, the raw sea bass and the friselle with scampi. For the first course, a scorpion fish mix, which could have used a pinch of extra salt, and the second courses were also very good. For dessert, I wasn't particularly pleased with the chocolate cake, which didn't have a warm center and was served in a small pan, making it awkward to eat. The place was very beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. At the end of lunch, between the Smartbox and the price difference (including the infamous bottle and bread baskets), I ended up spending €175, which I thought was too much for what I ate (with €10 for a cruel cake with no chocolate center, which I thought was excessive). What can I say? Go, but maybe without getting a Smartbox.

03/03/2026: It's always nice to return to eat at DA Locanda Ruggeri, a go-to place when we're in Terracina. Everything is unique and excellent, from the food to the hospitality. We'll be back soon!!! A must try!

Far from the chaotic and overflowing all-you-can-eat restaurants, it's a welcoming restaurant with a wide selection at reasonable prices. We ate what we liked without overdoing it and left satisfied with the taste, quantity, and service. A truly wonderful lunch.

24/12/2025: Prompt and courteous service; the chain's signature dishes are tasty and carefully prepared. The amber draft beer is excellent.

22/12/2025: Everything is fine, except for two things: the wait from when they take you to your assigned table to when they come to take your order, and secondly, the fries are very often lukewarm.
