16/08/2025: It's always a pleasure to sit at one of their tables and be served in the best possible way. I was here with my partner and a dear friend, who was brought along specifically to impress, and that was exactly what happened. We had three appetizers: seafood salad, burrata, raw red shrimp, and roasted octopus. Then, as off-menu main courses, the specials of the day included mixed fried fish, cod au gratin, and swordfish with vegetable caponata. Everything was excellently cooked, with authentic and well-crafted flavors, and the service was always attentive and friendly. Kudos to the wine list, truly thoughtfully designed with excellent selections at fair prices. We opted for Walter Massa's Timorasso, but there was truly so much to choose from. Kudos to them, because you can see the commitment and passion in this as well. Finally, we were so satisfied that we even indulged in dessert: two pasticciotti with cream and black cherries and a warm chocolate tart paired with a Barolo chinato. We'll definitely be back again and again!

24/05/2025: After a morning of visiting Gaeta, we stopped at Andale for lunch, and what a great experience. Excellent food, attentive and very friendly service. The fried mixed seafood was a highlight, dry, crispy and well seasoned. I recommend it, it was worth it!

01/08/2025: July 31, 2025, family dinner, beautiful location, well-kept and clean, friendly staff, and no long wait between courses. The tomato bruschetta offered at the start of the order was appreciated, but what about the food? It's worth mentioning that the fettuccine is homemade, and then you serve it to me with sliced porcini mushroom stems in a soupy sauce (where's the boletus cap?). The Roman-style tripe was overcooked (too soft) and always in a broth. Otherwise, it was good but nothing exceptional, probably due to the low prices, and people are satisfied and think they've eaten amazing dishes.

27/08/2025: A very nice location, you can relax while eating. The food was good, the only flaw is the service, and it was difficult to find a waiter to ask for something or to have the menus on the table. In fact, several minutes passed after they seated us. That should be the first thing after seating people: water and menus. Plus, when they brought our grilled food, they didn't replace the cutlery, and I had to look for a waiter to get them. In conclusion, the service could be improved a little.
23/08/2025: There are many dishes available, but not all are on the menu. Although they vary from season to season, it would be better to list seasonal dishes separately.

19/08/2025: The staff are incredibly kind and professional. The cuisine uses quality ingredients and offers a wide selection on the menu. The tonnarelli alla gricia with octopus is truly delicious. Allow me to offer a piece of advice: when choosing a wine, in addition to verbally recommending it, it would be helpful to show the wine list with prices to avoid unpleasant surprises or misunderstandings at the end of the meal. Otherwise, everything was great... we'll definitely be back.
24/07/2025: When I think of a place to eat good fish with recipes that are never boring, I think of Quadrato. A simple, small, yet truly unique place in Latina. Friendly service, attention to food and service, and reasonable prices. For special occasions or family dinners, it's the perfect place. A wide selection of wines, excellent desserts, fresh first and second courses, with interesting pairings. A must-try.

30/06/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall’esterno: il locale sembra anonimo, ma dentro è una piccola perla. Ambiente curato, raffinato, arredato con gusto. Ti conquista subito. Accoglienza impeccabile, soprattutto grazie a Maurizio, il proprietario: preparato, educato, ma anche simpatico e coinvolgente. Presenta piatti e vini con competenza e passione, senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio. Il Gewürztraminer 2021 di J. Hofstätter che ci ha consigliato è stato un abbinamento perfetto per tutta la cena. Gli antipasti ci hanno stupiti: polpo con patate e pomodorino, tenerissimo e gustoso; calamari con valeriana e frutta, originali e ben bilanciati; parmigiana con mazzancolle, polpo e patate, davvero sorprendente. Nei primi abbiamo trovato gusto e creatività: tagliolini con moscardini e 'Nduja (mare e piccante al punto giusto), e tagliolini con seppioline e pachino, classici ma eseguiti molto bene. Come secondo una frittura di calamari, leggera e croccante. Niente dolce (eravamo sazi!), ma una grappa "Elisi" di Berta ha chiuso la serata in modo perfetto. In sintesi, una scoperta meravigliosa nell’agro pontino. Torneremo sicuramente, anche per l'ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità!
13/06/2025: In occasione di un pranzo di lavoro, ho avuto il piacere di vivere un’esperienza gastronomica di livello altissimo, che merita una menzione speciale sotto ogni punto di vista. 1. Il Locale La location si è rivelata perfetta per un incontro professionale: elegante ma discreta, curata nei dettagli, silenziosa quanto basta per consentire conversazioni riservate, e al contempo accogliente e confortevole. Un equilibrio architettonico e stilistico che comunica immediatamente il valore e la raffinatezza dell’esperienza che si sta per vivere. 2. Accoglienza e Professionalità Il ristoratore, insieme al personale di sala, ha saputo distinguersi per cortesia, educazione e altissima professionalità. Ogni gesto, ogni attenzione al cliente, ogni spiegazione sui piatti è stata improntata a un servizio di classe, misurato e puntuale, che ha saputo far sentire l’ospite importante, senza mai risultare invadente. 3. Qualità degli Ingredienti La selezione delle materie prime si è rivelata eccellente. Ingredienti di altissima qualità, lavorati con competenza e rispetto, valorizzati senza forzature, in una cucina che esalta la qualità e la stagionalità dei prodotti. È evidente la cura maniacale nella scelta di ogni singolo elemento del menù. 4. Abbinamenti di Sapori e Presentazione I piatti proposti sono stati un vero trionfo del gusto: accoppiamenti audaci ma perfettamente bilanciati, sapori che si fondono in un’armonia sorprendente, consistenze calibrate e profili aromatici raffinati. Ogni portata è stata un’esperienza sensoriale, servita con una presentazione impeccabile e una cura estetica che riflette l’arte della cucina d’autore. Conclusione Un pranzo di lavoro trasformato in un momento di autentico piacere culinario. Un’esperienza che coniuga altissima qualità, eccellenza professionale e attenzione al dettaglio. Un luogo in cui il valore dell’accoglienza e della cucina si esprime ai massimi livelli. Assolutamente eccezionale.

30/07/2025: A huge disappointment, unfortunately. I came to Acquapazza with high expectations, wanting to give a special experience to my nephew, the son of restaurateurs in Madrid and accustomed since childhood to eating in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. I chose this place without asking for advice, trusting the name (my mistake). Let's start with the positive: the location is truly enchanting. At the top of the island, with a spectacular view of all of Ponza, the atmosphere is refined and very evocative. The staff was kind and courteous, nothing to complain about in terms of human touch. But from a Michelin-starred restaurant, I expect much more, especially in two fundamental aspects: service and cuisine. Regarding service: despite there being few tables, the attention was lacking. Our wine remained forgotten in the cooler, and several times we were forced to serve ourselves. In a restaurant of this caliber, this is unacceptable: in certain price ranges, customers deserve careful attention, discreetly but consistently. No one expects extreme formality, but attention is. And it was lacking here. About the food: beautiful presentation, beautifully plated dishes. But the flavor? Mediocre. No memorable dishes, no emotion. I left the restaurant with nothing that made me want to return. I've enjoyed much more at all the other restaurants I've tried on the island, at much more reasonable prices. The bill, however, was extremely high (€350 for the tasting menu, for three people with two bottles of wine for around €30 each), and frankly not justified by what we received. A Michelin star must be earned every day, and maintained with rigor, commitment, and research. Here, I had the distinct feeling that they were living off their income.
15/07/2025: Intimate atmosphere, elegant views, Michelin-starred dishes. The precise service: Acqua Pazza is famous in Ponza for its refinement and customer service. The dishes are carefully prepared and rich in flavor. Recommended.

La Pucceria di Streatbacco

20/07/2025: This restaurant is located in Aprilia and is easy to get to, with street parking nearby. It's a very cute place, and I think they only remove the roof in the summer, leaving everything outside. Their menu includes appetizers, fried foods, salads, sandwiches, pinsa (a type of meat), and plated meats. We ordered a "Delizie di Montagna" platter for two (€20), which included spicy salami, porchetta, mortadella, prosciutto crudo, loin, zucchini, eggplant, olives, ricotta with walnuts, and warmed focaccia. The spicy salami was good, nothing special, just average. The porchetta was also good—I've had better, but it was okay. The mortadella was very good, the prosciutto crudo was excellent, and the loin was also excellent. The grilled eggplant and zucchini were okay, as was the ricotta, but I've had better olives. I wasn't entirely sold on the focaccia either; the dough could have been a little more flavorful. Along with the appetizer, we had a Classic Supplì (€2.30), which however was drained of sauce, almost like a supplì with white rice. I also had a fried Zucchini Flower (€3) which was good, the only thing was that both fried dishes were quite greasy to the touch. Finally, as a last appetizer, I had a portion of 5 BBQ Chicken Wings (€7), which however I didn't like, you could only taste the breading, which wasn't even very tasty, no hint of meat or barbecue. After the appetizers, we had a Pumpkin and Guanciale Pinsa (€13.50), which was very good, you could taste every single ingredient, but €13.50 is too high as a price. Finally, I had a Picanha served with baked potatoes, chicory, and focaccia again (€24.90). The meat was good, especially with a good amount of fat that added flavor. It's a shame that serving it on a hot stone can be a bit dramatic, but it's a mistake. The meat continued to cook, and in addition to continuing to release juices (meaning it becomes less flavorful), it became very tough because it's a rare cut. The potatoes could have been cooked better, but the chicory was very good. The service could also be improved with a few small adjustments, such as carefully arranging the plates when they're served, or better managing takeaway requests by not simply using aluminum trays with aluminum foil, but rather organizing them better. The final bill for 1 generous appetizer, 1 supplì, 1 courgette flower, 5 wings, 1 picanha, 1 pinsa, 1 still water, and 1 Coke zero was €75.70, which is a bit high. Final rating 7/10.
17/07/2025: Ho trovato questo locale su tripadvisor e confermo quanto letto nelle recensioni precedenti. Menù molto ampio con varianti vegetali, di pesce e di carne. Accostamenti particolari, io ho assaggiato una pinsa con stracciatella barbabietola e broccoli, squisito sia l'impasto che il condimento. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, personale gentile e accogliente. Consigliatissima se volete provare qualcosa di sfizioso.
