02/10/2023: Cena di coppia. Locale accogliente e ben tenuto, terrazza accogliente, personale disponibile e professionale. Abbiamo preso 2 primi , mezze maniche al polpo e spaghetti allo soglio, buoni e per secondo una grigliata mista di pesce, presentata in maniera impeccabile, peccato che i crostacei non fossero freschi e che il trancio di pesce spada si sfaldava sotto le posate come fa il pesce decongelato. A onor del vero c'è da dire che il ristorante il giorno dopo avrebbe chiuso per fine stagione e forse è questo il motivo della "scarsa" qualità della materia prima, ma a mio giudizio sarebbe stato più elegante segnalare nel menu la scarsa disponibilità di pesce fresco e magari tenersi più bassi nel prezzo. Sarebbe da riprovare durante la stagione piena e verificare l'effettiva qualità. Pagato 40€ a persona che in condizioni normali è un prezzo nella media, magari in questa occasione è stato un tantino esagerato.

01/10/2023: We passed it every day to go to the beach and we were fascinated by the class and cleanliness. We ate very well, the raw food was amazing, everything was very good. A very kind and helpful young boy served us, he filleted my fish very well.

01/09/2023: Ogni piatto è originale e ricercato, dagli antipasti ai dolci.il personale è gentile e pronto a spiegare ogni ingrediente. La vista è pazzesca, fresco e ventilato. Consigliato sia a pranzo che a cena. Fascia alta di prezzo ma giustificato dalla qualità.

24/09/2023: Reservation made online for 11pm... we arrive at 10.49pm... they tell us that the kitchen is closed..... performance management needs to be improved... maybe if I ever manage to eat something I will change my rating.. .

29/09/2023: Nice but bill and service are not in line, breakfast the only thing we liked was the tart, we were served by a polite girl but with a bit of a listless attitude...since the season is over it could also be understandable, but you don't work like that

12/09/2023: Pizza buona ma molto caro ,pessimo servizio,abbiamo aspettato parecchio in piedi prima che qualcuno si degnasse di indicarci un tavolo,e a fine cena saremmo potuti andare via senza pagare,tanto la disattenzione di titolare e camerieri. Abbiamo chiesto il conto tre volte invano,alla fine siamo andati alla cassa,il locale non era pieno,anzi .... assolutamente sconsigliato.

11/09/2023: The location is enchanting, but I'm sorry to say that my culinary experience was not up to the task. The dishes all arrived bland with the exception of the grilled calamari which they really deserve! I hope it was just an unlucky evening but I would suggest more attention.
11/09/2023: It's a fixed stop every time I come to Ventotene.
I have always had excellent dinners and today the family tradition continues with his son Domenico who in no way regrets his legendary father Benito, both for the quality of the raw materials (very fresh fish) and for the skill in preparation.
I don't understand those who review this place negatively (probably fast food regulars), and those who incomprehensibly complain about the "high prices" if these are clearly indicated on the menu: you can always get up and go and eat a focaccia around the corner...

20/09/2023: We took 6 desserts, (cannoli and small caprese) 5 drinks, 60 euros. The thing that annoyed me was that they didn't want me to use the bathroom, making up ridiculous excuses, given that I had been there shortly before to wash my hands.
17/09/2023: Buona colazione ma nulla di particolare ….. ma In 6 una semplice colazione alla Modica cifra di € 82….. stesse cose in altro bar 25 euro Max ….prezzo assurdo….. i prezzi oltretutto non sono esposti ….vergognoso

10/09/2023: Sala esterna arredata con gusto, situato all’Interno del antico porto Romano. Antipasti deliziosi, insalata di razza TOP. Crudi eccellenti, gamberi rossi appena pescati e tartare di tonno rosso locale. Prezzi nella media. Personale cortese e proprietario simpatico. Consiglio
29/08/2023: Ambiente informale, vista mare, servizio puntuale e sorridente. Per un pranzo veloce ci siamo fatti consigliare da loro e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Un pacchero con sugo di totano (fuori menù) e un trancio di tonno scottato con scarole. A presto!

06/09/2023: di fatto il pesce non era male ma visto il posto e la tipologia dei camerieri e dei cuochi non mi sarei aspettata un conto da 250 € .
in 4 abbiamo preso due antipasti , un dentice 4 calamari e 8 scampi e poi una bottiglia di vino della casa e una di acqua e due dolci per finire. no primo o altro .
mi pare un po’ esagerato anche perché il proprietario non ti da un un menù di riferimento e non puoi dire niente puoi solo non ritornare. diciamo che le apparenze INGANNANO !!!
lo scontrino aveva tre voci indefinibili …… consiglio al gestore un po’ più di trasparenza e meno differenze fra locali e turisti , grazie
