04/04/2026: Poetry! We'd read about other "traditional" places that we tried anyway. Everything here was delicious; the aroma captivated us, so we stopped. For me, the onion and cod is number one, followed by the traditional one. In any case, we tried almost all of them. Spectacular.

The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, with that old-world charm that's rare these days. ​The courtesy and professionalism of the staff was a real discovery: excellent service, always kind and attentive. Add to this the truly fair and affordable prices, a quality that's no small feat these days. ​Highly recommended, whether for a quick coffee break or a relaxing moment.

A historic bar in Gaeta with numerous references to the Carabinieri, this modern yet distinctive and well-air-conditioned venue offers good-quality, reasonably priced food, expertly prepared. The service is quick and courteous, with a touch of kindness that never distracts, while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Located at the beginning of the seafront promenade and near a large parking lot in the historic center.

14/06/2026: This review is only for the service, as we gave up on lunch after more than 40 minutes of waiting. We saw all the surrounding tables served, and they arrived after us. They even received complimentary bruschetta "complimentary from the chef" within 5 minutes of arriving, and we weren't even brought bread, despite having requested simple dishes. Terrible management and customer service; definitely a place to avoid if you don't want to waste your time.

11/04/2026: The pizzeria at the port is the place where you can eat the best tiella in Gaeta. With their wide selection of flavors, they're sure to please every palate. Simple, excellent!

14/07/2026: Made regular visits for fresh bread and pastries during a two week visit to Gaeta. Friendly and helpful. Bread and pastries were very tasty.

13/05/2026: This is a restaurant with refined cuisine and high-quality ingredients. The dishes and their preparation are worth the culinary experience, and the wine list is good. Excellent service, with staff attentive to the customer's needs and knowledgeable about the dishes. It was truly a pleasant discovery. My favorite dish was the octopus on a bed of potatoes, beautifully balanced in flavor and expertly prepared. Congratulations! I'll definitely be back.

11/05/2026: Excellent!! I don't understand why it doesn't have 5 stars. The prices are fair for the truly high quality of food. The battered shrimp are delicious, as is the octopus and potatoes. A must-try! I also had the tuna steak... very tender and delicious, and the prices are absolutely competitive for the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend it.

21/03/2026: I've only ever had paella like this in Madrid 😍 phenomenal! And with the sangria nearby, I really felt like I was in Spain 🇪🇸❤️ The staff was really kind and friendly. 5 stars well deserved, I'll definitely be back 😊

The restaurant itself is delightfully cute, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it feel like a hidden gem perfect for a relaxed evening out. We particularly loved the steak tartare, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The beer honey steak was a standout—sweet, savory, and incredibly satisfying. The truffle cream steak was equally delicious, rich and indulgent with that luxurious truffle aroma. Each one was cooked to perfection and left us thoroughly impressed. One note for fellow Americans (or anyone expecting a classic Caesar): skip the Caesar salad. What arrives is a simple garden salad dressed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. It’s perfectly fine on its own, but it’s not the creamy, cheesy, crouton-topped version most of us are used to. The only real downside was the service response when we politely mentioned the mix-up. The staff didn’t seem particularly concerned or interested in making it right, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, this is a wonderful spot if you’re craving great steaks in a cozy setting. Just come with the right expectations on the sides, and you’ll leave very happy! Highly recommended for the quality of the meat and the charming vibe. Would we return? Absolutely—for the steaks. Just maybe skip the salad next time.

28/06/2026: The restaurant is well air-conditioned. The food arrived shortly after ordering, even though the place was starting to get crowded. It's a shame we couldn't eat on the terrace due to the heat. The quality of the food was very good, and the service staff were kind and attentive.

26/06/2026: Great local cuisine. The beers are fantastic. The bathrooms are spotless and smell great. The final price is very low. The view of the Gulf is unforgettable.

11/06/2026: A beautiful location and an appealing menu set very high expectations. For this first experience, the beef was good but not exceptional. The service was slow, and neither the wagyu beef nor the wine we'd chosen were available. Instead, we were offered grappa.

22/05/2026: This is a recent discovery for us. I know we should not eat meat often, but when, then you should go for the best and this is the place! And you can also have great plates with vegetables. Not to mention the wine, the choice is good and high quality!

08/07/2026: Great Anatolian cuisine from days gone by. The place is clean and fragrant. The view of the Gulf is unforgettable. The prices are very low.

10/06/2026: Hotel near Serapo beach and a 15-minute walk from the old town. Large, comfortable, and clean room with everything you need. It has agreements with two very nice beach clubs; in June, the price is €15 for two loungers and an umbrella. The breakfast is good, both sweet and savory, and the wait staff is also very friendly. Parking is in front, but it's not included. The price is €15 per day, like the rest of the city, so it's affordable. It also has a nice outdoor pool, a nice place to cool off as soon as you arrive. The only problem was that when you asked for lounger reservations or information, the receptionist seemed like she was asking for help. Perhaps a smile and a good morning beforehand would have been appreciated. Federica at the reception desk was very kind and always welcomed us with helpfulness and courtesy. Recommended.

10/06/2026: We saw reviews and it had convinced us, but then the unpleasant surprise, on Google it marked the place open and instead it was closed, it was a big inconvenience given that at 10.15pm we had problems finding another available restaurant... Bad bad
