04/07/2026: We stumbled upon Antica Carrera by chance, and it was a real discovery. I had the pleasure of dining there with my family for my dad's birthday, and as soon as we walked in, we had a wonderful time. The owner, Massimo, pours all his passion and love into what he does, and it shows. He was able to advise us on the dishes we ordered, and he amazed us. We started with a rich appetizer, yet with unique and incredibly fresh flavors. For our first course, as he recommended, we opted for two tastings: lobster and clam ravioli and citrus-flavored seafood risotto, each one better than the other. Then we moved straight on to desserts, knowing they were homemade by the chef, and we were blown away. The best mille-feuille with Chantilly cream and red berries I've ever had; my husband, on the other hand, had a hidden tiramisu, and I really appreciated the fact that the zabaglione cream was pasteurized, so for me, pregnant, I could finally enjoy it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to feel pampered and eat excellent, fresh, top-quality fish.

The place isn't particularly beautiful and the location is decidedly unappealing, but the quality of the food is top-notch and the owner's kindness makes this one of the best in the area. I can confirm this, having returned several times. Low prices.

06/07/2026: A decades-old establishment in the Fondi area. Now in its third generation, it recently renovated the dining rooms, creating spacious and refined spaces, as well as intimate dining rooms with historic tables and chairs that create a cozy atmosphere. Refined cuisine. High-end pizzeria.

13/07/2026: Nice atmosphere. We've been there before. I don't know if management has changed, but we found it to be worse. Limited selection. I ordered a hamburger bun, and they asked me how done it was. I asked if it could be rare, and they said yes. The first time, the hamburger arrived well done. I sent it back because I don't eat sauces, so it was really dry. The second time, it arrived well done, but by then it was late, so I ate it because I was hungry and didn't want to throw away any more food. It's a shame because the ingredients were good, but the price (14 euros for a hamburger bun with lettuce and tomato) and the service could really be improved.

01/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place walking around the Fishtown neighborhood. It is down a small road/alley. The place was busy and required reservations but we were able to sit at the bar(3 of us). We ordered 2 pizzas. They were very tasty and cooked well if you like brick oven style pizza. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The service was great. I would recommend dining here but call make a reservation.

Over time, La Concordia has strived to make a difference with great commitment and investment, placing the quality of its food, service, and location on equal footing. 02/05/2026: Today my husband and I had lunch at this restaurant, and we were very satisfied. The food was good, except for the mussels and clams that were in the appetizer, which were flavorless. The atmosphere is very nice, but they should add some outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back.

03/12/2025: La Canadese is a typical restaurant that perfectly interprets local cuisine and tradition. Let me just say we were very hungry! And we were fed, and in a big way! Jokes aside, on our way back from Rome, we accompanied a dear friend to Fondi and asked him to take us to dinner at a trattoria where we could eat well and affordably. Without hesitation, he took us to La Canadese. The friendly and helpful staff seated us on the air-conditioned veranda. The atmosphere was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The wait staff was kind and helpful, and the dishes were delivered promptly, except for the first course, but I'll tell you why later. We ordered a generous appetizer for four, and I can assure you it was plentiful and enough for everyone. In addition to the cold cuts, cured meats, and cheeses, there were two terracotta pots with beans and pork rinds—amazing; and polenta with meat sauce—divine. All of this was accompanied by at least three freshly baked focaccias, served square-cut and piping hot. A 40ml Menabrea red wine, a special one! Then, I assure you, already full and satisfied, we ordered 4 fettuccine with porcini mushrooms... and what can I say? It was exceptional: fresh homemade pasta, a generous and generous portion, tons of porcini mushrooms nestled between the fettuccine, and perfectly creamed and cooked. The reasonable wait for the first course attests to the fact that everything is freshly prepared and totally worth it. We really didn't have any more room, so we finished with a liqueur and coffee. All for the fair and honest price of 150 euros. Guys, it takes about an hour and a half from Naples to get to La Canadese, so it's best to exit at Frosinone. Keep in mind that they make fresh pizza in a wood-fired oven, which must be excellent given the deliciousness of the focaccia, and they specialize in grilled meats and all kinds of side dishes. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it, especially if you want to eat with the land and mountains and love local, traditional cuisine. TOP place!

25/10/2025: I've been eating pizza at "La Canadese" for almost two years, and in that time, I've NEVER been disappointed. Pizza made with passion and attention, and served by extremely kind and efficient staff. They also cater to celiacs and lactose intolerant customers. The environment is clean and well-kept, both inside and out (the latter area is only available during the summer months). Highly recommended!

The place is welcoming, and the outdoor tables allow you to fully experience the historic center, creating a pleasant atmosphere that makes every evening truly special. The pizza is always perfect: light dough, select ingredients. You can feel the passion and experience behind every preparation. A special thanks to Edi and Maurizio, the owners. They are always kind and helpful, and with their warmth, they always make customers feel at home. Highly recommended.
